Since the release of the so-called UFO documents there has been a wealth of alien stories…..the conspiracists have come out of the woodwork.
This post is for me to cleanse all this bullshit out of my brain so I can go on with real stuff….sorry for the diversion…..
The United States government’s recent release of hundreds of previously classified Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) cases spanning the 1940s to the present, along with the new Steven Spielberg movie, Disclosure Day, about extraterrestrial life, has fuelled the idea that aliens are visiting Earth.
In fact, polls in Australia, the US and elsewhere indicate around a third of the public believes aliens are here.
However, while what we know about the universe suggests aliens may exist, there are three compelling reasons why they probably aren’t visiting us.
The CIA and a message from space…..
A third batch of UFO files was released by the Pentagon on Friday morning.
The document drop included recorded NASA briefings after Apollo 16, which referred to an ‘alien starbase’ on the dark side of the moon. The comments were not included in the official transcript from the 1972 mission.
Among the most bizarre releases was a 1958 CIA memorandum discussing a phone conversation with a scientist regarding concerns about a destroyed ‘space message and its transmitter.’

The ‘first contact’ rules are now on the books…..

radaronline specializes in sleaze to the point where it makes the National Enquirer look like a piece of fine, fact based journalism. So that it’s running garbage like that doesn’t surprise me at all.
I’ve been reading about “smoking gun” reports that will be released “any day now”, the US and Russia having actual alien space ships and we have photos “but we can’t show the to you for reasons”, etc. since the 1960s.
You’d think that by this time the media would be sick of this nonsense and just start laughing whenever someone brings it up.

If we had news media that actually lived up to the ideals they claim they follow instead of acting like penny ante hucksters and carnival barkers cynically grubbing after every cent they can make the current political situation would be considerably different.

Regarding “aliens,” I’d like to caution people about drawing firm conclusions – whether pro or con – from insufficient evidence. The truth is that we just don’t know if intelligent extraterrestrial life exists and what it might be capable of. We should also avoid arrogantly applying our human limitations concerning technology and scientific understanding onto other possible species. We are not omniscient, not even close. The actual nature of the cosmos is very, very far beyond our comprehension at the present time. Remember that the “U” in the UFO and UAP acronyms means “Unidentified.”
