By now many know that he is sending troops into Chicago as well as Portland, et al….basically because Chicago is a ‘war zone’….well if that is in fact true explain this….

President Donald Trump claimed that there were “4,000 people murdered” in Chicago over “a very short period of time” during a Friday appearance in front of reporters in the Oval Office.
Responding to a question about his feelings on Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers (ICE) “making targeted arrests at courthouses in New York City and across the country,” Trump interjected to say, “Criminals. They’re arresting criminals,” before making the case for sending federal agents to Chicago.
“We want to save Chicago,” said Trump. “They had 4,000 people murdered over a very short period of time.” Notably, city data indicates that Chicago’s murder rate has dropped sharply over the past few years — nearly 50% lower than it was in 2021. As of 2025, the city has recorded 331 homicides, compared to 460 at this time last year.

The “No Kings” rally is a nationwide action with a very simple goal: oppose the blatantly authoritarian tilt of the Trump administration. The protests are supported by groups like the Human Rights Campaign, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the College Democrats of America, among others. The rallies have been very tame, and I have run into veterans, federal employees, and mostly older, liberal white people who love America but hate what President Trump is doing. No one there is particularly close to being pro-Hamas, and antifa (whoever that is) would likely consider the action to be insufficiently leftist for them.
But Johnson can say ridiculous things like this because his party can’t fathom that not everyone who opposes them is some militant anarchist with a Molotov cocktail locked and loaded. The government is shut down because Republicans refuse to negotiate with Democrats on extending health care subsidies millions of Americans rely on, not because Democrats want antifa to destroy the government.

Robert F Kennedy Junior has claimed that circumcision raises a child’s risk of being diagnosed with autism.
Speaking at today’s televised cabinet meeting, the Health and Human Services Secretary said: ‘There’s two studies which show children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism. It’s highly likely because they were given Tylenol.
‘So, you know, none of this… is positive, but all of it is stuff that we should be paying attention to.’
These most recent comments follow a press conference last month in which the administration linked acetaminophen, brand name Tylenol, use during pregnancy to autism in children.
RFK Jr did not specify which studies he was referring to, but one of the only ones on the topic is a large 2015 paper on 340,000 boys that found those who were circumcised were 46 percent more likely to be diagnosed with autism than those who were not.

According to AFPI, not enough young Americans love America “because too many have never been taught what makes this nation great.” According to an announcement, the coalition will “Reignite pride, teach our history, and restore civic knowledge for the next generation.”
At a press conference (below), McMahon said: “In 2026, we face a sobering reality, civic knowledge and engagement and constitutional literacy among our youth, I’m gonna say it’s in decline, I can almost say it is absent, and we have to really focus on this.”

I am not in the least surprised by the antics of Trump and his boot-licking cronies. Indeed, why is anyone remotely surprised? After all, he said he was going to do things like this during the election campaign, but the fools still voted for him, or just decided not to vote against him. I found out what’s going on with Trump and his wild statements about cities. It’s that he never, ever sees what’s really going on. There was a report on public radio just this morning describing what’s going on and why Trump is so out of touch with reality. There is a whole corps of MAGA “influencers” who are in Portland, Chicago and other places that are taking isolated incidents and filming them and framing them in such a way as to make them look like full scale riots, often with the active collaboration of ICE. In some cases they’re actually deliberately staging incidents that never really happened. They are even taking video from incidents that took place in other countries that took place years ago and misrepresenting them as taking place in Portland, etc. Trump does’t watch the main stream media. All he’s fed is a steady diet of MAGA influencers. He’s so gullible that he believes everything he’s shown.
Of course he does because it will fit his warped sense of reality….personally I think social media is killing this country….have a great Sunday. chuq
