Asked about the 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution, which plainly forbids a president from serving more than two terms in office, Bannon proclaimed that “there are many different alternatives” to get around it.

Bannon continued: “We have to finish what we started… I know this will drive you guys crazy, but [Trump] is a vehicle of divine providence. He’s an instrument. He’s very imperfect. He’s not churchy. But he is an instrument of divine will.”
“We need him for at least one more term,” Bannon reiterated, “and he’ll get that in ‘28.”

President Trump’s Department of Justice is sending election monitors to “protect the votes of eligible American citizens” in six different blue districts this November.
The poll monitors will focus on California, which is set to vote on a ballot measure known as Proposition 50 that would redraw the state’s congressional districts to help Democrats, and New Jersey, where Republicans have a real shot at winning the governorship.
“Transparency at the polls translates into faith in the electoral process, and this Department of Justice is committed to upholding the highest standards of election integrity,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi Friday. “We will commit the resources necessary to ensure the American people get the fair, free, and transparent elections they deserve.”
The effort will be coordinated by the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department. The districts that will be surveilled are Passaic County, New Jersey, Kern County, California, Riverside County, California, Fresno County, California, Orange County, California, and Los Angeles County, California.

Satellite imagery shows that six trees, including southern magnolias commemorating presidents Warren G. Harding and Franklin D. Roosevelt, were axed or removed from the White House grounds this week as Trump abruptly demolished the East Wing.
Apparently little Donny has this hard on for flora.
Then there was the idea of a tunnel from Russia to Alaska…..
The proposal appeared on social media Oct. 16 in a post from Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin’s investment envoy and head of Russia’s RDIF sovereign wealth fund. Dmitriev suggested an $8 billion tunnel could run under the ocean for 70 miles to cross the Bering Strait, the narrowest point between the two continents.
The tunnel would “symbolize unity” by providing a rail and cargo link between the countries, Dmitriev said. He posted Trump’s comments on social media.
Dmitriev floated the proposal after Trump and Putin spent two hours talking about how to end the Russian war against Ukraine. The two leaders plan to meet in Budapest in as little as two weeks to explore peace talks further.

The Texas State Board of Education approved a new English curriculum that integrates Biblical content into traditional school subjects, prompting fierce backlash over the role of religion in public education.
The Bluebonnet Learning program enables school districts to incorporate lessons derived from scripture, including those on the story of Ester, creation stories and analyses of Psalms. The emphasis on Christian beliefs is stronger than that of any other religion.
Each district that adopts the learning program would receive $60 per student in financial incentives. As of August 2025, one in four school districts participates in the program.
I am against this…..this is forcing students to toe the line in religion there is no choice….if parents what their children to have religious orientation then go to church and enroll them in Sunday school otherwise….fuck off!

A Christian musician and church leader who previously performed at a campaign rally for President Donald Trump has been arrested. The musician, identified as Jon Paul Sheptock, served as the Worship Minister at First Montgomery Baptist Church in Texas and was ministering at a women’s prison at the time of his arrest, reported KTRK. He has been accused of producing child sexual abuse materials
According to a report from The Independent, the 49-year-old sang the national anthem at a Trump rally in 2022 and posed for photos with Trump. Ryan Gable, a constable at the Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3 office, explained in a statement that detectives from Constable Ryan Gable’s Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Unit learned in August 2025 that Sheptock was allegedly in possession of and involved in producing child sexual abuse materials. According to the statement, these materials included “videos and images of a child under 18 engaged in sexual conduct.”
