NO!  This is not a rehash of the ’60’s TV show with Bill Cosby(never was a fan of that show)……

By now every American has heard of the CIA….and the NSA….and even the ultra secret DIA…..but do you think that is all there is to the intel agencies?

If so then you would be mistaken.

There is an even a more secret agency than any of the ones you thought you knew.

Ever heard of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency?

Of course you have not…that is until now.

If you’re one of the countless Americans who was distraught to learn of the revelations made by former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor Edward Snowden, the mere idea that there might be yet another agency out there — perhaps just as powerful and much more intrusive —  should give you goosebumps.

Foreign Policyreports that the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, or NGA, is an obscure spy agency former President Barack Obama had a hard time wrapping his mind around back in 2009. But as the president grew fond of drone warfare, finding a way to launch wars without having to go through Congress for the proper authorization, the NGA also became more relevant. Now, President Donald Trump is expected to further explore the multibillion-dollar surveillance network.

Obama Broadly Expands NSA Power

In the closing days of his presidency our president Obama has expanded the power of the NSA……and the chances of further abuses of our privacy…….a final shot, if you will…..

With just over a week left in office, President Obama has massive expanded NSA authority to share the personal communications swept up in their many warrantless wiretap schemes with America’s other 16 spy agencies.

The move aims to “relax” limits imposed by privacy laws by allowing the NSA to share raw data in a more or less limitless fashion with the other 16 spy agencies before the privacy laws are even applied to them. This is meant to get more eyes on the data collected.

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who like Obama is out the door in about a week, defended the move, arguing that all the spy agencies will be bound by existing rules once they get ahold of and process the raw data. Privacy experts, however, note that the existing privacy protections aren’t great to begin with, and the expansion to so many different agencies just increases the risk of abuse.

But there is more on this presidential move……

the Obama administration finalized new rules that allow the National Security Agency to share information it gleans from its vast international surveillance apparatus with the 16 other agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community.

With the new changes, which were long in the works, those agencies can apply for access to various feeds of raw, undoctored NSA intelligence. Analysts will then be able to sift through the contents of those feeds as they see fit, before implementing required privacy protections. Previously, the NSA applied those privacy protections itself, before forwarding select pieces of information to agencies that might need to see them.

Will any of this be overturned by the incoming president….or will these abuses be further extended?  All indicators point to the later.

What’s The Truth Worth?

NOTICE:  This press is from the Daily Beast and I have not much luck with the site….for me it sucks but this is a piece of news that I have to get out there.  I apologize if it is a piece of crap for you or your system.

Secret Agent Man

During the spy craze of the 70’s Johnny Rivers had a song  “Secret Agent Man” (yes…I am that old) it reminded me that some of our cracker jack Congress may be working as agents for a foreign government….no not Russia or China but rather our good buddy….Israel.

I wrote a piece about this situation after the holidays…..(a refresher if needed………I offered the reference so that you could see that I was writing about this before most…..).

I had my suspicion that the newest mouth of the South, Arkansas’ Tom Cotton….but I may have overlooked another one…..our candidate du jour….Marco Rubio……his use of terms like democracy, human rights and all that political prop stuff made me think the he was more interested in protecting Israel than protecting this country…….but read the story for yourself and you make up your own mind……..

The more I read and research the more that I am believing the stories……and I stand by my assertion that if these stories are true then these people need to be prosecuted as spies and/or foreign agents…..but we will wimp out because Israel is our friend and ally…..which in my mind is pure BS…Israel sucks off the tit of American taxpayer……the US is NOT their friend…just their enabler.

These traitors need to be held accountable for their crimes and make no mistake it is a crime…..sadly they will not….

 

U.S. Spy Net on Israel Snares Congress

There is so much more happening in the world than the “one trick pony” thinking of most people…..and who better to point these out than….ME!

Okay I admit it….I was appalled to hear that the NSA was spying on just about everyone…..but then I read something that made me think about the whole spying on foreign “allies” thing.

The National Security Agency’s targeting of Israeli leaders also swept up the content of private conversations with U.S. lawmakers.

Some will be up in arms about this but me….. I am not at all….you see the Congress reps the people and in as such there is no privacy when dealing with foreign “allies”……if these people are making side deals with others countries then it is a crime…..

Were some members of Congress working as agents of the Israeli government?  If so, time for some prosecutions.  Anyone that knowingly works against the interests of the country is due for some court time.  Personally, I think that all of them should be drawn and quartered for wasting taxpayer funds……but that is just me….I would be happy if someone embarrassed these twats publicly…..I have the feeling that will not occur…..oh well….wishful thinking.

Before anyone gets all testy and stuff….Israel has been spying on the US for decades….so in my opinion, fair is fair…….what’s the old saying…..”if you cannot stand the heat then stay out of the kitchen”…..Mr. BiBi.

Congress Drops All Pretense: CISA

Remember a couple of years ago when everyone and I do mean everyone was up in arms about the NSA spying thing……all political sides were on the same side….and then a couple of terrorist attacks and now……the topic is barely a hiccup on the blogosphere…..it amazes me what Americans will tolerate when the are put in a constant state of panic or fear.

Well, while you were concerned about the babbling of political candidates it seems that Congress has done what it does best….work in secret….maybe we should be paying attention……

Americans have the attention span of an oversexed rabbit……they only get aroused when it is too late and the damage is done…..take CISA for instance…………

What Happens When Idiots Are Elected?

Since his election to the US Senate from the state of Arkansas I have been anything but supportive of this moron…..I am speaking of Tom Cotton…..

This babbling buffoon came of the public eye because he took it upon himself to write a letter on the Iran nuke deal….and he even got more of his GOP butt buddies to go along with his break of esprit de corps……

All GOP d/bags love to use the Constitution as a political prop and then spend every waking hour trying to find ways to violate the document……Cotton is NO different!

Sen. Cotton has stolen Jeb’s thunder with his bill…….

 “I will fight to restore the Patriot Act’s metadata program to ensure we have the ability to connect the dots between known foreign terrorists and potential operatives here in the United States,” former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), another White House contender, said in a speech at The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., on Wednesday.

Jeb will have to find a new tagline to show his chops.

This Shadow Government Agency Is Scarier Than the NSA

The internet is full on conspiracy theories of this governmental agency or that agency that is controlling our lives…….we have already seen just how involved a group like NSA is spying on us……we also have heard about these shadowy groups that are in control…..the Bilderbergs, Illuminati, Free Masons, etc, etc…….but is there really some shadowy group that we should be afraid of……a group that is always keeping us under their watchful eyes?

I am almost always amused at the news cycle……after you have been watching and reporting on the news for as long as I have …..it becomes a challenge to predict what the big story is and try to get ahead of it……it is a difficult task but so fulfilling when you can do it……and gloat!

For instance the latest “terrorist” attack in the US….the one in Garland Texas last week.  First it was ISIS took full responsibility for the attack and then the government came out and said that there was NO definitive proof that ISIS had anything to make it happen.  But we normal Americans hear the part of that saga we want to hear….”ISIS did it”.

Late last week there came out that there was a split in the GOP over the Patriot Act….after all it is up for renewal and the fix is in.  There are many Americans that are concerned over the loss of civil liberties in the name of the Patriot Act….even some of the presidential hopefuls.  we are told that we need it to keep the country safe (point one).

Also last week word came done that the US Court of Appeals has found that the NSA program of data collection is illegal…..let me say nthat again….ILLEGAL!

A key appellate court ruled Thursday that the National Security Agency broke the law with its sweeping collection of telephone call data, in a groundbreaking decision that repudiates the Obama administration and encourages Congress to weigh in.

The unanimous decision by a three-judge panel of the New York-based 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is the first to conclude Section 215 of the USA Patriot Act does not authorize the NSA’s bulk collection of so-called “metadata.” It comes just as sharply divided lawmakers try again to rewrite the law.  (point 2)

The ruling sent the hawks into a frenzy of trying to turn the American people against the ruling……..and it began in Congress……..

Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Richard Burr (R – NC) has slammed last week’s Appeals Court ruling that the NSA metadata surveillance program was illegal.

Sen. Burr insisted the program, which allows the NSA to collect telephone metadata on all Americans, had never intruded on anyone’s privacy, and said the program had to be continued.

Fear mongering at its ultimate best!

With those two occurrences…..it is time to whip out the Big Guns!
Over the weekend a couple reports came out that were as predictable that one id not need a de-coder ring……..
First the FBI report……..

Comey said this amounted to a shift in the process of online radicalization, as where at one point would-be recruits had to go to considerable lengths to find anything, they now make contact on Twitter or Facebook, and are then steered to more secure forms of communication.

The comments were made in the context of Garland shooter Elton Simpson, though officials have conceded they don’t really think he was working with ISIS, but was at most “inspired” by them.

Then secondly the report was………

Citing the “environment” of threat created by ISIS, the Pentagon has announced an increase in its FPCON security level from Alpha to Bravo. Spokesmen confirmed there is no specific threat.

The Pentagon had previously done this in September 2011, in the lead-up to the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, on the theory that al-Qaeda would probably like to do something then.

Third report was a real ear popper……in an interview Sen. Feistein (D-CA) said that there were ISIS cells active in 11 (eleven) states…..but as usual there was NO naming of said states….seems to have been a blanket statement……

These were the talk of the Sunday Political talk shows on the MSM…….

My problem is that the twin setbacks….the court ruling and hesitation over the Patriot Act had the PR people in the government going batcrap crazy……they had to make Americans aware (read “afraid”) of those bad guys lurking in the shadows.  They trotted out ALL the usual suspects to save the Act and try to reverse the ruling…….

This is a desperate attempt to save the programs they have been depending on to spy on Americans willy nilly……

Wait1  I am NOT saying that there is NOTHING to worry about….there is!…….All of this is a huge coincidence…….the problem is that I do NOT believe in coincidence……

Most Americans Right or Left is concerned about the programs the government has to get our information……NSA is doing pretty well at their program of “bulk collection”………in other words they will spy on us mere mortal Americans in the name of national security…..but they must be politically correct so mass surveillance becomes bulk collection……but read it for yourself…….
