I was attempting to use this article for a post…..but after a couple tries…I gave up….it is better to read the entire thing…..
A scary thought…I live in the state and believe me when I say that America does not need to if it wants to survive….there is NOTHING that can be said good about the social aspects of the state nor the political either…….
Demographics, conservatism, and racial polarization: Could America become Mississippi?.
My goodness. I haven’t read the article yet, nor do I think that America should become just like -any- one state, we you continue on and ever remain diverse.. but having spent most of my life in Mississippi, I can say that I love my state. I don’t love everything about it but there are positive things that could be learned from us here, should anyone care enough to consider them.
Every state, like everything else, has its high points and its low.
Now to read the article.
Thanx for the visit…….there are some disturbing trends……..Mississippi should NOT be a model for anyone…….please visit often….chuq
Right. Like I said, I don’t think any one state should be a “model” for the entire country.
The thought of anyone even contemplating that idea scares me to death.
With today’s dogma…..if one party sees a successful program in one state they will try to use it elsewhere…..and yes a scary thought….
