This would take a hugh effort for all parties and they just won’t or can’t come to the meeting of the minds. Each one is afraid that they are getting screwed by the other. These politicians are so corrupt on power and money and it is very hard to lose anyone of these.
That is why I say ALL money…….campaigns are nothing but massive propaganda tools…..there is seldom any truth in anything they say….no party which party is speaking…..
The problem with making laws that limit donations is that the lawyers write the law and before the ink is dry they will find a loop hole or two.
Agreed…it is the same for the tax code….we can blame whoever we like but the fact is it was lawyers that made it the abomination it is today….
Let’s get rid of all deductions, that way everyone will have something to hate. Get rid of all subsidies. Maybe a flat tax is what we need. Everyone should have to pay something into the pot.
