1–Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) yesterday called into The Steve Deace Show where he accused President Obama of acting like an emperor on issues like health care reform and the Defense of Marriage Act.

“It’s amazing what they’re saying is covered by Obamacare,” the congressman continued. “If you decide to become transgender you can also get that covered…‘The next time I call your show,’” he said in a high-pitched voice.

2–Leading Iowa religious right figures Bob Vander Plaats and Steve Deace got together on American Family Radio today to discuss potential 2016 Republican presidential candidates and how they can move them even further to the right, as they didin 2012

Deace said that Justice Anthony Kennedy’s majority opinion in the case was actually “an anti-Christian polemic” that he would “expect to be reading…at Mother Jones.”

Vander Plaats agreed, saying that Kennedy had in fact provoked a “constitutional crisis” by “defying the law of nature and the law of nature’s God” and “going against the document that predates the Constitution.”

3–Author Jonathan Cahn has become a star in Religious Right circles over his new book, The Harbinger, which basically claims that biblical prophecy regarding ancient Israel applies to the United States today. Cahn states that the September 11 attacks were a warning from God to repent and prophesied in the Bible. Instead of repenting, however, America is increasingly rebelling against God and Cahn predicts that such defiance will lead to the country’s ultimate destruction.

He appeared on Washington Watch with Tony Perkins yesterday to mark the anniversary of 9/11 and discuss a recent prayer gathering in the Capitol, where Michele Bachmann delivered a Cahn-like speech about how 9/11 and the Benghazi attack represented divine judgment. Cahn also spoke at the event.

4–Tennessee has becomeahotbedofwildSharia lawparanoia, and hucksters like John Guandolo, a disgraced former FBI agent who has made a careerpushinganti-Muslimconspiracy theories, have cashed in.

During an appearance on Crosstalk with VCY America’s Vic Eliason, Guandolo told a caller from Tennessee that his state — which has a whopping 1% Muslim population — is a hotbed of Sharia law and potential terrorism.

“I have spent a lot of time in Tennessee because Tennessee is one of the most dangerous states in the union with regard to this threat, you have some very courageous state legislators who are addressing the threat but you also have some folks there in leadership positions who are not addressing it,” Guandolo said, adding that that Muslim Brotherhood members he arrested confirmed his claims.

5–…………….according to Bachmann, Obama is now championing the terrorist group.

The Minnesota congresswoman referred to a decision by the Obama administration to allow vetted Syrian rebels not affiliated with terrorist organizations to help them resist chemical weapons attacks, which was spurred by the Syrian regime’s use of chemical weapons on civilians.

While the administration’s move is only related to non-lethal, defensive and protective aid, Bachmann falsely claimed that “President Obama waived a ban on selling arms to terrorists.”

“President Obama waived a ban on arming terrorists in order to allow weapons to go to the Syrian opposition,” Bachmann said. “Your listeners, US taxpayers, are now paying to give arms to terrorists including Al Qaeda.”

Larry Klayman is so confident that his “second American Revolution” will be successful that he has already planned a second Continental Congress to organize a new system of government. Klayman will lead a rally in front of the White House tomorrow, where he predicts that people will “converge on and ‘Occupy Washington’ in the millions” and that they won’t leave the city until President Obama resigns or the military forcibly removes him from office.

“Take our Reclaim America Coalition, for instance, which is proving to be a big success. For virtually the first time in modern history, we have assembled a host of conservative, libertarian and other public-interest groups and activists to work together for a common goal: to wage a Second American Revolution and peacefully and ultimately remove the tyrant evil fool in the White House, as well as corrupt Republican leaders like Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. There, delegates of the tea party and other patriots from all 50 states will deliberate, plan for the rest of the revolution and elect a government in waiting, ethically and competently poised to take over the reigns [sic] of a real government responsive to the people.

The Second American Revolution will succeed, because We the People will have the courage to make it so. And, to this end, I command you to join our forces, come to Washington, D.C., Nov. 19, 2013, attend the start of our Second American Revolution and make your voice heard. The time has come for action. The time is over for talk. Let us put both Obama and Democratic and Republican leaders out to pasture, where they can wallow in the manure they have encased us with, and let us reclaim our own destiny free from their political slime, incompetence and tyranny, so help us God!”  (thanx to Right wing Watch for this)……

I am still not sure why Americans are allowing this….you have far more to fear from idiots like this guy than from us so-called “Radicals”……….

One Of Those “Oh Crap” Moments

We all have one of those days or moments where you do something and you realize that it was the wrong thing to do…..and what is the for instinct?  “OH Crap!”  Right?

Well one of the biggest oh crap moments occurred in Syria among the rebels fighting Assad….

(Newser) – Everybody makes mistakes at work. Here at Newser, that means making a typo. For fighters in al-Qaeda-affiliated rebel groups, it means beheading the wrong guy. Militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria posted a video online recently in which they showed off a severed, bearded head, saying it belonged to an Iraqi volunteer for President Bashar al-Assad’s forces. That would have been par for the course for Syria, had another Islamist rebel group not recognized the head as belonging to one of its commanders, the BBC reports.

After being wounded in battle, Harakat Ahrar al-Sham commander Fares Maroush apparently believed he’d been captured by a pro-government militia, so he said a prayer that would mark him as a Shiite—and likely governent ally. But he was actually being taken to the hospital by the ISIS, and when they heard the prayer they took it at face value and killed him. ISIS has apologized, asking for “understanding and forgiveness,” the Telegraph reports. A spokesman pointed out a Koran passage saying Allah would forgive someone who killed in error.

If this was not so tragic….my devious mind could find a couple levels of humor in this……but in the mindset of good taste I will let it go…..

I see that Muslims are NO different than so-called Christians…..they will use their Holy book to justify anything and everything….

Next level of analysis…….this is a prime example of what will be happening in Syria for decades if not longer, after Assad is no longer calling the shots, so to speak….Syria is going to be a carbon copy of Iraq….NO one knows who is who only that they are fighting Assad….a terrible way to run a a war……..no amount of mindless banter by politician and so called do-gooders will change the fact that violence is there to stay in Syria….. dream on for a peaceful solution….just like Iraq!

For all my readers that enjoy my cartoon posts I need to let you know that as of today I will be suspending the ‘toons for awhile…..I do not know how much more crap can be said on either side about Obamacare…..personally, I will move on post on the news of the world….so much more is happening and we are suck in He said they say…..I am disgusted with the whole affair…..

The ‘toons will be back once America returns to sanity, well as close to sanity as they can get……

Humanitarian Con

Note:  I apologize….this post was suppose to be in August and so much has happened that it just got pushed back…..and back………

We know that over a million refugees have taken it on the lame…….over 100,000 deaths including the gas attack ones…..and almost daily people like John Kerry walks out in front of cameras and chants over and over the need for humanitarian aid for Syria…….we hear the it is our, meaning the US, duty to do whatever it is needed to help the people of Syria…….the problem I have is this whole humanitarian crisis con…….

Let’s start with the issue du jour…..gas attacks…..there is some reporting that our original accusations may have been a bit pre-mature…….

And now reports have surfaced that German Intelligence believes that Assad did not personally order the attacks.

President Bashar al-Assad did not personally order last month’s chemical weapons attack near Damascus that has triggered calls for US military intervention, and blocked numerous requests from his military commanders to use chemical weapons against regime opponents in recent months, a German newspaper has reported , citing unidentified, high-level national security sources.

The intelligence findings were based on phone calls intercepted by a German surveillance ship operated by the BND, the German intelligence service, and deployed off the Syrian coast, Bild am Sonntag said. The intercepted communications suggested Assad, who is accused of war crimes by the west, including foreign secretary William Hague, was not himself involved in last month’s attack or in other instances when government forces have allegedly used chemical weapons.

Was the accusation an Iraq-esque accusation?

United Nations investigators have listed a wide range of crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Syria, but provided no conclusion on the issue of chemical weapons use.

“On the evidence currently available, it was not possible to reach a finding about the chemical agents used, their delivery systems or the perpetrators,” the team probing human rights violations in Syria said in its latest report on Wednesday.

It was clear however that “the majority of casualties result from unlawful attacks using conventional weapons,” the Commission of Inquiry on Syria said in a statement.

Forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad’s regime “have continued to conduct widespread attacks on the civilian population, committing murder, torture, rape and enforced disappearance as crimes against humanity,” according to the report, which covers the period from May 15 to July 15.

Sounds more like a play from the Bush book of tricks than the truth……

Let me be upfront, I am coming at this issue from an international relations position…….now that I have passed along some info on the much maligned gas attacks….I want to turn our attention to the “humanitarian” crisis we hear so much about from Kerry, Obama and other players in this game……

Since the early days of the Syrian situation there has been calls for some sort of humanitarian intervention…..coming from john McCain, Lindsey Graham, Pres. Obama, John Kerry and a whole flock of pundits and “experts”…..first when there were civilian deaths then when there were a massive amount of refugees and then the recent gas attack…..and these people will not let up….a constant barrage of demands for humanitarian intervention…..but there is a problem.

Using force to stop the fighting among competing groups or provide the necessary security to feed starving people or to deal with some sort of ethnic cleansing cannot be accomplished without an invitation of the country’s leadership…..as justified as armed intervention in support of humanitarian causes may seem….it is not…in fact it is not legal within the borders of a sovereign country.

Now the US has found a way around this piece of international law…….if we do not like the government in power then we simply find a group and state that they speak for the people…..and then we can act in any way we desire because we are acting on a request of a legitimate spokesperson of the people…..and this is what we are doing in Syria.

As you listen to Obama and Kerry and all the minor admin players ask yourself where you have heard all this before….all the accusations and condemnations……all have been used before…….does 2002 ring a bell?

This humanitarian thing is nothing but a con……..a con to justify the removal of a person or government we do not approve of at this time.  The problem is the humanitarian intervention could possibly add to the bloodshed and add to the humanitarian crisis…….basically…a lose lose scenario!
