Zany Crimes!

You know I have always tried to find the dumbest criminals or the craziest crimes to post about….we get enough of the horrendous stuff….and there are some stupids out there……enjoy some of last weeks greatest hits…..

(Newser) – A massive walnut heist and a computer-generated child that lures would-be predators make the list this week:

  • $400K Worth of California Walnuts Stolen: Stop laughing at the Canadians over that multimillion-dollar maple syrup heist. The US has its own weird food thievery going on: walnuts. A crew stole $400,000 worth of the nuts from trailers at an orchard outside Modesto, California, last week. And there’s talk of a “nut mafia.”
  • Computer-Generated Child Nabs 1K Predators: Dutch children’s rights activists have come up with a novel way to catch online predators: They created a realistic computer-generated 10-year-old girl. Researchers then posed as “Sweetie” and logged onto Internet chat rooms. During the 10-week sting, 1,000 adults solicited her for sex acts via webcam.
  • Dad Calls 911 on Son, Who Gets Killed by Police: An Iowa father wanted to teach his 19-year-old son a lesson, so he called police when the youth took off with his truck. It ended in tragedy, though, when police shot and killed Tyler Comstock after a chase.
  • Accused Peeping Tom: Upskirt Photos Are Free Speech: A Boston man is making the case that the Constitution allows him to secretly take photos up women’s skirts in public. The lawyer for 31-year-old Michael Robertson argued that her client’s actions in the Boston subway are protected by the First Amendment and that women “cannot expect privacy” from guys like him in public.
  • Family Missing After Bizarre Call Found Dead: A family that went missing in Mississippi under strange circumstances has been found dead: The bodies of a husband and wife and their 7-year-old son were discovered in an abandoned house. The woman’s family says she told them via a strange phone call that she had to leave town for a few days and was already on the road; the call ended abruptly. A man who led police to the bodies is in custody.

It Takes A “REAL” Man

Another weekend and time for me to leave all the Obamacare claptrap behind and write on things that others may not be aware of in this world of talking points……..

Remember a few years into the Bush admin our dynamite VP was out hunting quail and shot a guy in the face….remember?  This place that the accident happened was a fenced in hunting club and stocked for the rich guys to pretend that they were American hunters….basically they were hunting on a baited field….which in real life is not done by sportsmen…but these guys are rich so they can do just about anything they want…….with that said why would I bring up the chapter in our illustrious history?

An excellent question…….read this and be disgusted…..

(AP) – Plans to auction a rare permit that will allow a hunter to take down an endangered black rhino are drawing criticism from some conservationists, but the organizer says the fundraiser could bring in more than $1 million that will go toward protecting the species. The Dallas Safari Club earlier this month announced it would in January auction the permit, one of only five offered annually by Namibia and the first to be made available for purchase outside of that country. “This is advanced, state-of-the-art wildlife conservation and management techniques,” explains John J. Jackson III.

“More than ridiculous,” declares the president of the Humane Society. “You’re going to help an endangered animal by killing an endangered member of that population?” But Jackson says the hunt will involve one of five older male black rhinos selected by a committee and approved by the Namibian government. They’re ones that are incapable of reproducing and likely “troublemakers … bad guys that are killing other rhinos. You end up eliminating that rhino and you actually increase the reproduction of the population.” He adds that 100% of the proceeds will go to Namibia for the limited purpose of rhino conservation. An estimated 4,000 black rhinos remain in the wild, down from 70,000 in the 1960s.

Is this the “American Sportsman” we hear so much about?  Too disgusting to continue……and anyone that hunts this way is more disgusting than any other form of low life human……a COWARD’S way of hunting……..pathetic individuals!  Enough said?
