I do not know if people have heard this story that occurred in Texas…..a 11 year old girl was gang raped by 18 boys ranging in age to the oldest described as a young adult male…..a horrendous crime under normal circumstances but a recent event to discuss the attack sank into a wealth of blaming the 11 year old for instigating the attacks…..

A meeting Thursday night that was billed as a way to discuss concerns some have about the investigation into a series of alleged sexual assaults on an 11-year-old girl turned into a forum that many used to blame the girl police contend is the victim of heinous attacks.Many who attended the meeting said they supported the group of men and boys who have been charged in the case. Supporters didn’t claim that the men and boys did not have sex with the young girl; instead they blamed the girl for the way she dressed or claimed she must have lied about her age — accusations that have drawn strong responses from those who note an 11-year-old cannot consent to sex and that it doesn’t matter how she was dressed.
For of all…….The age of consent in Texas is 17 and ignorance of a girl’s age is not a legal defense.
And now for the most tacky part…….gang raped an 11 year old…..come on morons…..what part of that excuse of the way she was dressed is sounds the most stupid? How can anyone defend this action? Nobody wants to be responsible for their actions……..these males are sex offenders, rapists, and should be treated as such…there is NO defense of their actions!
Sick…sick…..sick. This is a case for vigilanty revenge. Someone needs to fuck those boys up!
After all it is Texas and nothing that happens in that state surprises me….and I agree……send them to the Big House and put them in with Bubba the butt lover…..

Apart from the 11 years old bit – it wouldn’t matter if she was twenty one and buck naked, that doesn’t give ANYONE the right to TOUCH her, never mind demand or force sex on her! EVER! The fact that the girl WAS only eleven means these cowardly sh*ts could NOT have had her consent even if she gave it – which is pretty bloody unlikely, wouldn’t you say?

Totally agree…….like I said…even a blind dude could tell this girl was underage…..and another part that is sickening…..no one is saying they did NOT rape her but that she asked for it……after all it is Texas where all civilized manners go to die!
Don’t overgeneralize – heinous crimes happen everywhere and I’m sure you wouldn’t like to be associated with the next one that happens near you.

Clearly not everyone is an asshole just because they live in Texas (or anywhere else for that matter), but the general culture and accepted conventions of an area DO dictate where the “red line” is drawn for a lot of people and often govern how the best and worst elements of that society will behave.
Such conventions are often the product of the “elite” of that local culture, but even that may be a “chicken and egg” situation since one could argue that the people get the administration they deserve. However, I tend to ask, when did THAT ever happen in politics? Anywhere!

I’m sure (and I could do the same in the UK – except I hate the place and hardly ever go there). But the truth is still chicken and egg. In fact, much of it is the result of what you talk about in your next post – PROactive thinking. This produced political correctness, which in turn told many of the young they were “deprived” and we should pat them on the head instead of kicking the shit out of them when they behaved like this – result: an explosion of shit-heads like these.
ANYONE who disagrees with that should get their head out of their ass and read the book “The Lord of The Flies”. QED!
And a case could be made for a racist attack (not that I am doing that in any way) but the girl was Hispanic and the boys were Afro-American……it is a horrendous act in itself and to possibly add racism in there just makes it SUCK even more…..
