Damn! It just keeps getting better and better…..the amount of lies being thrown out at the public in the attempt to confuse and alienate the public from the health care plans is just flipping amazing.
Yet another Repub tries to scare the living hell out of retirees and the elderly. This time it is our friend from a few weeks ago, North Carolina’s Virginia Foxx.
“make sure we bring down the cost of health care for all Americans and that ensures affordable access for all Americans and is pro-life because it will not put seniors in a position of being put to death by their government.”
Putting the elderly to death…..she is the second MORON to say this. No where is this true…by no stretch of the imagination can someone make a “real” issue out of this. But yet, the Repubs keep lying and the people keep listening….that is the sad part.
These are the people that are elected and yet they get away with lies to the very ones that elects them and then the next time around these idiots are re-elected. Does not bode well for the intelligence of the electorate, huh?
Actually, the talking point is part of the rationing argument. At least on Boortz, they are talking about that health care will be rationed such that the elderly will not get life saving treatment and that procedures such as hip and knee replacement will only be given to young people.
I have heard that, but so far I do not see it in any of the documents I have read. But Medicare is a government program and there does not seem to be any rationing there….but I guess a talking point is the best way to attack.
