2009 Anal-Ocity

It has been a great year for moronic and anal statements….and there seems to be no letting up.

There has been an amazing amount of lying on the health care issue, but the one that came from the mouth of Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert:

GOHMERT: We’ve been battling this socialist health care, the nationalization of health care, that is going to absolutely kill senior citizens. They’ll put them on lists and force them to die early because they won’t get the treatment as early as they need.

Of all the rhetoric flying around the health care debate, this one is by far the most absurd piece of anal BS.

Random Thoughts

Once again I have taken more notes than I should have and the posts are just not there…I really need to get a life, huh?

1–OMG! The Harvard incident is over–move on to more important issues. All the analysis is through the prism of one’s own experience and has nothing to do with the conversation. Move on!

2–This is a good one–it seems that all those organic foods may not any healthier than the regular stuff…..if true, why does organic cost so much more? It would cost less to produce than those with all the pesticide and such…then why the big price tag for organic?

3–Senate has noticeably ignored obesity in its health deliberations.

4–Here is something that everyone needs to know (that is sarcasm, in case you missed it)…at the “Beer Summit” the Prez will be having a Bud Light…now there is worthless info but I am sure someone just had to know it.

5–I have heard many on the Right predict that the Medicare system will be bankrupt in 2017…..personally, I think that is political rhetoric, misinformation and out right lies. I wil predict that the Medicare system will be going strong well beyond 2017.

6–All the clap trap about the deficit….it is all Obama’s fault….few mention the nearly 1 trillion dollars that was pumped into the financial system by the previous admin…I know that money will be paid back…if so then is it considered when predicting the future deficit? If not, where is the money going? Better yet in whose pockett will it wind up?
