Will Pelosi Problem Go Away?

Not as long as there is some political advantage to keep it in the news.

Did she lie?  What did she know and when?  Does she have Alzheimer’s?  Does there need to be an investigation?  Questions….nothing but questions.

The Repubs are dancing like a fool trying to turn this situation into something that can drive the party.  With all the attention that Pelosi is getting has been a Godsend to the RNC.  Why?  It is driving the conversation about torture.  It is NO longer about whether the ex-prez did anything wrong or his guys,  now it is what did Pelosi know and when.

Is Pelosi lying?  Most probably!  After all she is a politician and her lips are moving.

Now she briefed, we all can agree on that, but what was she told?

The stories are she was told everything and the CIA does not lie…..thinking….that is a crock of crap.  All intel agencies will protect their collective butts.  Next, if she thought what she was hearing was wrong then why not go public?  It was classified and that would havew broken her oath taken with the offical secretive act.  BTW, that woiuld have been against the law.

Now people like Gingrich are calling for an investigation of what Pelosi knew.  What should been done?

First, Pelosi needs to shut the hell up.  Make a statement that she has said all she will say on the subject.  Since everyone concerned is making up their own conclusions, then allow them to continue unabated.  Second, there should be an investigation.  A wider investigation of what was known, said and uncovered up and that would include everyone….Pelosi, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush, et al.

Then ALL the media vultures can have their stories and the American people can have the TRUTH.

The Taste Of Wine

Years ago when I was in the liquor industry I attended a wine tasting event for Australian wines.  If anyone was ever been to one of these you grade the wine by clarity (color), nose (aroma), and taste.  Well to me the Aussie wines had good color, but the aroma was that of a wet dog and the taste was that of what I imagined latrine water would taste like.  In other words I was not impressed by Australian wines.

Now you are asking what the hell was that all about?

New Zealand in 6 years of research spent $12 million dollars to determine the taste of their signature Sauvignon Blanc.  The finally results after all that research was that the wine had hints of passion flower, asparagus and cat’s pee.  Yep you read that right….Cat’s Pee!

I felt bad about the terrible rating that I gave the Aussie wines and now I know I was pretty accurate in my assessment.
