A “Post-Birth Abortion”

WTF?

I would like to point out that there is already on this….it is called murder…..or if you need the official academic term it is infanticide.

A post-birth abortions is murder, right?

This stupidity came out of the mouth of a person who personifies stupid, Ron DeSantis.

Republican presidential candidate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in a recent interview that some states allow abortion after an infant has already been born.

CNN host Jake Tapper asked DeSantis whether he would support a federal abortion ban as president. DeSantis, who signed Florida’s contested six-week abortion ban in April, said he would be a “pro-life president,” but gave no direct answer.

“In some liberal states,” he said, “you actually have post-birth abortions and I think that’s wrong.”

Some on social media thought DeSantis misspoke, but the post-birth abortion claim is something that Republicans and anti-abortion activists have repeated for years, before the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022.

The claim was wrong then, and it is wrong now: Willfully terminating a newborn’s life is not legal in any state.

When asked for evidence to support his claim, a DeSantis campaign aide pointed us to two resources, neither of which established that states sanction killing newborns.

One was a press release outlining Republican support for a bill advocates say would require infants get medical care after attempted abortions. Opponents say the new bill is redundant under the “Born-Alive Infants Protection Act of 2002.

The other was a webpage from the Charlotte Lozier Institute, an anti-abortion organization, that explored cases in which it said abortion attempts failed and babies were born. But it contained a number of irrelevant or erroneous citations. For example, one 2018 study that it cited referred to second-trimester abortions in Europe, not the U.S., and found that half resulted in live births, with most babies dying within minutes. The study’s authors said the abortions were sought because of anomalies or genetic abnormalities. The gestational age represents a range when many fetuses cannot yet survive independently.

What sort of moron believes this shit?

NO one advocates the killing of newborns….NO ONE!

Infanticide is illegal in all 50 states…..in case you are an idiot.

These anti-choice people will make up shit and have it become everyday….this has been picked up by another Floridian, Marco Rubio, another drooling half-wit.

This is pure bullshit….like everything else that comes from the mouth of a Republican. and the supporters that buy into manure.

When characterizing a Repub all I can say is….’ignorance in and stupid out’.

Those Social Conservatives

Just a little something now that a Dem will occupy the White House….an old nemesis will return…..the social conservative.

First what is a “social conservative:”?

While the terms conservative and liberal can have different definitions in different countries, American social conservatism usually refers to a political ideology that involves traditional, historical views on the definition of marriage, life, sexuality, and religion. This ideology is in direct contrast with another known as social liberalism. Individuals who are socially liberal typically embrace and support marriage equality, abortion rights, and government intervention on issues such as pay between men and women.

Voters who are social conservatives often support candidates in the Republican Party, which is known for having traditional views in relation to the definition of marriage, life, sexuality, and religion. According to Gallup’s annual measurement of social views, about one-third of Americans identify as socially conservative. American social conservatives are often members of a Christian or Jewish denomination, but not every social conservative is religious.

For those that have an allergic reaction to actual reading…..I have visuals…..

Since the election of Trump….the traditional beliefs of the social conserv is gone….so can we say that it is a “dead” movement?

I have thrown a lot of info at you about social conservs…..and with good reason…..

Some research is showing that social conservs are less intelligent than others…..

Over the past decade, several studies have shown that people who tend to hold more conservative views score low on measures of intelligence. However, it now appears that while conservatism and intelligence are negatively correlated, the link is not as strong as first thought.

Much of the previous work in this area was based on a psychological definition of conservatism, rather than a political one. The term “conservative syndrome” was coined to describe a person who attaches particular importance to respect for tradition, humility, devoutness and moderation.

Such a person tends to hold conformist values like obedience, self-discipline and politeness, and emphasises the need for social order coupled with concerns for family and national security.

If social conservs like Reps. Jordan, Nunes, Meadows, Gaetz, McCarthy are examples of the political philosophy then I would say that the research holds up well.

And no better example of stupid than the “anti-maskers”……and the return of the social conservative will once again lead the stupidity in our Congress.

2011 Anal-Ocity #17

Good Lord!  Do these idiots have to give their mouths a rest and let their brain do some work?  Apparently…NOT!  These anal statements are just mounting daily……it should be a good year for the “Assies”…..

Abortion has been in the news ever since the new Reps have gotten to Washington and in the states…..Jobs were suppose to be on the agenda, but has yet to make an appearance…….so this anal statement is about abortion…..

The Indiana House of Reps is debating a new anti-abortion bill……and to counter what a Dem had just suggested….Rep, Eric Turner (R) said:

I just want you to think about this, in my view, giant loophole that could be created where someone who could — now i want to be careful, I don’t want to disparage in any way someone who has gone through the experience of a rape or incest — but someone who is desirous of an abortion could simply say that they’ve been raped or there’s incest.

He did not want to disparage anyone and then went on to disparage them…….do Repubs know what they sound like?  Besides is that a problem?  People lying about rape to get an abortion?   Do they realize that every time one of them makes statements like this they are portrayed as a moron…an unfeeling moron?

Rev. Warren And His Silly Forum

Would you like the snooze….oh sorry…the news from a two long yawn-a-thon, then read on McDuff.

What did anyone learn from this exercise in boredom?  Obama is a christian and is black; McCain is an Episcopalian who attends a Baptist church in Phoenix, that alone should tell you all you need to know about his character, and he is a white guy.
The one theme that got the biggest chuckle out me was, They did strike some common ground, such as the importance of rising above self-interest to serve one’s country.  What a crock of crap! They want to be the most important person in the world–country is just part to the sell job.

Obama is an hypocrite on abortions, McCain is just plain hypocritical on everything.

Shall I go on or do you get the picture?  Both are self-serving arrogant pricks that want your vote so they can continue the domination of the working class by the ruling elite.

If a voter was watching this silly exercise, then they are more confused now than ever.  Why?  The two major candidates are one in the same–kinda like Harvey Dent in Batman.
