With A Broad Brush Of Patriotism

I tire of these mental midgets that paint their idiotic fear and bigotry with the brush of patriotism…….they turn their extreme hatred into something it is not…..Patriotism.

There are too many that use the term to mask their hatred and their ignorance…….these types of people are COWARDS!  You read that correctly…..COWARDS!

The most recent moron to play the patriotism card is some mindless douche in Florida (and that is putting it nicely)………..

The owner of a gun store in Florida who declared his shop to be a “Muslim-free zone” is now the target of a lawsuit. The Council on American-Islamic Relations filed a federal lawsuit calling the policy at Florida Gun Supply discriminatory, reports Reuters. The move comes after owner Andrew Hallinan, 28, posted a video to Facebook announcing his new policy in the wake of the Chattanooga rampage. “I have a moral and legal responsibility to ensure the safety of all patriots in my community,” Hallinan says in the video, as quoted by NBC Miami. “So effective immediately, I’m declaring Florida Gun Supply as a Muslim-free zone. I will not arm and train those who wish to do harm to my fellow patriots.”

But the chief executive of CAIR calls it blatant “Islamophobia” that must be challenged. “Unfortunately, he caved in to a lot of the anti-Muslim pressure and anti-Muslim base that he’s pandering to,” Hassan Shibly tells USA Today. “When he refused to reconsider his position, when he refused to reconsider to be educated, refused to engage this community, refused to respect American law, we had no choice but to bring forward this lawsuit.” Meanwhile, Chris Martin, a US military veteran who converted to Islam, has traveled to Inverness, Florida, from California so he can try to enroll in a training course at the shop to challenge the ban, reports WFTS-TV. Federal agents are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation.

This a/holes is taking advantage of a situation to try and increase sells by using hatred and bigotry as a marketing tool……and for that reason he is a COWARD!

This dickhead is one of those that fights against gun control and believes that all Americans have the right to buy guns and yet he wants to stop Americans from doing so……..he is either an idiot or……..(thinking)………no that about covers it.

Paying For Patriotism

After I let these people know what I think of that the Congress has taken up the issue…….and has made its decision known……..

The Senate today voted in favor of a bill which will bar the Pentagon from giving taxpayer money to NFL teams or other sports franchises in return for them “honoring the troops” during their games.

Reports of the “Patriotism for Profit” program emerged last month, with the revelations that 14 NFL teams had received $5.4 million in return for timeout displays of thanking troops for their service. This was quickly condemned by several top Congressmen.

The NFL, the apparent primary beneficiaries of this program, criticized the bill, saying it was a “distorted picture” of the long-standing relationship between the military and professional football. A spokesman went on to insist the programs to “honor the troops” would continue even if the money stopped.

Apparently Patriotism does have a price, at least for the NFL.

Are you telling me that the way these toads in Washington check fiscal policy that No one knew what was happening with these payments…..maybe they should spend more time doing their jobs and less time performing oral sex on their donors……whatcha think?

There is too much fake patriotism in this country…..and the NFL is a prime mover in that…….

When this story first came out it was pretty much ignored by most….like the NFL was some sort of God that one could not speak ill of without facing damnation……I have called the NFL a douche bag organization supported by mental midgets and cowards…..do I need to say more?

Patriotism Has Its Price

This country has gone “patriot” crazy……our vets deserve all the recognition they are getting…..the parades, the out pouring of gratitude and in my opinion there is not enough we are doing to say thank you….

We do not support the troops…..we pretend they are important but do not care when the Congress divides t5o save money by cutting programs for the troops or the veterans…..one can voice support but if it does not translate into action then I question the seriousness of the gesture.

Speaking of gestures……..have you seen the out pouring of support at all these athletic endeavors….kinda like what some of the NFL teams have done?

Fans who see troops honored at halftime events during NFL games may not be aware that a lot of the time, their tax dollars are paying for the tribute to the military. According to an NJ.com investigation, the Pentagon has paid a total of $5.4 million to 14 NFL teams since 2011 for events like the New York Jets’ “Hometown Heroes” tribute to members of the New Jersey Army National Guard. Most of the paid-for tributes involved the National Guard, and while not every NFL event saluting the troops is part of a promotion, some lawmakers say having teams compensated for patriotic events seems distasteful, Scout.com reports.

“Those of us go to sporting events and see them honoring the heroes,” Sen. Jeff Flake tells NJ.com. “You get a good feeling in your heart. Then to find out they’re doing it because they’re compensated for it, it leaves you underwhelmed. It seems a little unseemly.” The public “believes they’re doing it as a public service or a sense of patriotism,” Flake says. “It leaves a bad taste in your mouth.” A Jets spokesman tells the New York Daily News that the team has “consistently supported all five branches of the US armed forces” separately from the Guard sponsorship, and that it recently donated $1 million to a foundation that builds homes for injured service members.

Disgraceful!  A league full of millionaires and we have to pay them to show some respect?

I am beginning to despise the word “PATRIOT”…….it is a word being batted around by cowards that want to use the concept to feed hatred.

There is NOTHING patriotic about these gutless mental midgets……but today we will be told all about the American patriots that are fighting for our rights……most of them a cowards that have NOTHING to offer this country but their hate…..

The word “patriot” and “hero” are being used so much that their concept NO longer holds the traditions of the past……

Holding true to form the American public has once again illustrated just how easy they can be manipulated.

Yes, I am talking about a second rate comedy, “The Interview”.

After Sony’s U-turn on releasing The Interview, the controversial movie played in 331 independent cinemas across America on Christmas Day, often to sellout crowds. Many moviegoers made it clear they were there to take a political stand, with one ticket seller in California dressed as “Uncle Sam-ty Claus,” the New York Times reports. “We are taking a stand for freedom,” the manager of the Cinema Village East in Manhattan tells the AP. “We want to show the world that Americans will not be told what we can or cannot watch. Personally, I am not afraid.” Security was light at most theaters, though some had police officers standing by.

Co-directors Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen made a surprise appearance at a screening in Los Angeles, where they thanked moviegoers for their support, reports Reuters. A North Korean diplomat, meanwhile, called the release an “unpardonable mockery” of the “dignity of our supreme leader,” but said there would probably be no “physical reaction” from Pyongyang. In a first for a major studio, the movie had a simultaneous release online. The groundbreaking release strategy is being closely watched by the industry, although Sony says it won’t release any immediate data on the number of sales or rentals, CNN reports.

A pathetic display of blind consumerism……Americans allowed the media to frame the idea that it was somehow “patriotic” to defy North Korea and buy an overpriced ticket to watch second class actors do a very bad movie.

Their moronic action shows two things….1–the American public is gullible and  2–they are more than willing to throw their money at a corporation that does not need it.  All in the name of some misplaced loyalty.

The people did not disappoint me at all…….I said it was all an act just to boost profits for a bad movie…..

Have you noticed that since SONY got the PR they needed to guarantee a big opening for this movie….it seems to be NO story.  But never fear we have a new air crash to dangle in front of the people.

I wish to thank the American people prove my point for me……..and a Happy Year to you….Sony is laughing all the way to the bank.

A Gathering Of Patriots

We all would like to believe that we are a patriot……strange you may be or not, depends on what your definition of the term……….calling yourself “patriot” does not make you one….in your mind maybe but that is as far as it will go…….

The most recent gathering of patriots was in Bumphuk, Nevada when some malignant militia types showed up to help some bloated freeloader in his confrontation with the government…..I understand the theory behind their actions even if they were illegal…the local meanies showed up with their arsenals and proceeded to intimidate the government agents on the ground……..some news outlets named the rancher and his cancerous buddies as patriots….a true patriot is NOT a thug with a gun.

I ask these sunshine patriots, looking for publicity, where do they draw they line?

We know that they will show up to support a law breaker but will they show up for a legitimate cause?

The Keystone XL pipeline has reignited the emotional issue of eminent domain — the taking of private property for public use — all along its proposed route. The vast majority of landowners have signed agreements with TransCanada, the pipeline owner. But where necessary, the Calgary, Alberta-based company is busy going to state courts to exercise eminent domain and lining up rights to cross properties throughout the Great Plains — even though the State Department and Obama administration still are weighing whether to give TransCanada’s Keystone XL pipeline a permit to cross the U.S.-Canadian border.

You see the issue of eminent domain will be used to in essence steal people’s land…….now will these so-called “patriots” come to the aid of these ranchers and farmers?  will they show up with their massive fire power and buck a huge corporation?

I think not.

Just as the Nevada star faded into oblivion so will these gutless wonders and there ‘patriotism’.

Yeah, these twats are PATRIOTS!

Patriot Or Traitor?

I have been reading blogs….listening to news reports…..and reading lots of news…..all in an attempt to get an handle on this Snowden dude…..

We all have our opinions about this Snowden dude….the guy who worked for NSA for 2 weeks and took abounch of info that he has released through a journalist enabler……I have heard him called a patriot because he exposed the NSA and their dastardly techniques of checking for terrorists…..and then there is those that think him some sort of traitor for his antics……but that is for the individual to decide which Snowden is….the patriot or the traitor.

There are a few things to consider….one Ellsberg released the Pentagon papers and stood up for what he believed…Snowden ran away to hide and then released his so-called information.  Manning, you know the Army PFC that got and then released a bunch of Pentagon stuff on line….he stood and faced the consequences….Snowden ran to China another bastion of democracy and freedom (sarcasm, in case it was missed)…….

Then there is the report that Snowden had 4 laptops with information and he allowed either China or Russia to check out the hard drives……that is right….RUSSIA…..(another bastion of freedom and democracy…sarcasm once again……..).  That does not sound like someone that has the concern of American’s public best interests…..does it to you?

The story says that Snowden has gone from China to Russia then on to Cuba and finally to Ecuador……his final destination because of the extradition that is non-existent……any time a person allows state secrets fall into the hands of foreign entities then that person is a traitor!  No matter how one tries to justify the actions….a traitor is a traitor!

Sorry….none of that sounds like a patriot…..but it does sound like a traitor on the run looking for a safe haven!

No amount of justification can turn this act into something patriotic.

If Manning is a traitor….then Snowden is worse….why?  He was a coward and fled…..he could not be bothered with standing on principle….my guess is that he, Snowden, is looking for the most lucrative spot to settle down……

Let us hear from the public….is this guy a….patriot or traitor?
