Always A Zionist Prick

Our ambassador to Israel is one Huckabee who was always been a religious zealot with little to say that made sense.

Like his butt buddy Donny, this a/hole had to pen his useless mouth and piss off the world.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has sparked a diplomatic firestorm, drawing a rebuke from 14 countries after expressing support for the idea of Israel taking over land stretching from Egypt to Iraq during an interview with Tucker Carlson.

Huckabee made the comments when pressed on his Christian Zionist view that the modern state of Israel has the divine right to the land that it controls. Carlson asked how far that goes, pointing out that the promise God made to Abraham in Genesis suggests his descendants would have all the land between the Euphrates and the Nile Rivers, which includes Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and parts of Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.

“It would be fine if they took it all,” Huckabee said. When pressed further, Huckabee insisted that Israel wasn’t trying to take that land, but the idea of a “Greater Israel” has support within the Israeli government, and Israel currently occupies parts of Syria and Lebanon, and continues to expand illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank and its occupation of more than 50% of Gaza.

In response to Huckabee’s comments, a joint statement was released by the foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, as well as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Organization of Islamic States, and the Arab League.

The countries expressed “their strong condemnation and profound concern regarding the statements made by the United States Ambassador to Israel, in which he indicated that it would be acceptable for Israel to exercise control over territories belonging to Arab states, including the occupied West Bank.”

The statement said Huckabee’s comments constitute “a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and pose a grave threat to the security and stability of the region.”

“The Ministries reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty whatsoever over the Occupied Palestinian Territory or any other occupied Arab lands. They reiterated their firm rejection of any attempts to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip, their strong opposition to the expansion of settlement activities in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and their categorical rejection of any threat to the sovereignty of Arab states,” the statement said.

This idiot was a worthless candidate when he ran for the presidency and he has not got any better with age….if this ass wad is a ‘man of god’ then I am a female soccer star from Latvia.

It is loud mouths like this prick that give religion a bad name and turns people off.

This nation needs to try and repair its standing in the world and dipshits like Huckabee makes that impossible.

He needs to be recalled and shown the door for he is unfit to wear the mantle of ambassador.

We have enough of these zealots that poison the minds of the less educated with their bullshit….he needs to be silenced.

Foreign Policy Inexperience

I have been studying foreign policy, conflict resolution, history, etc so I keep a keen eye on the foreign policy of my country, the USA.

It is my belief that for way too long we have had the Neocons running our foreign policy.

Then Trump came to the throne……and the situation got much worse.

I admit that there were times that I agreed with Trump some of his promises pertaining to foreign policy……sadly most were just farts in the wind…..

I thought he would be smoking dope when he put a CEO of an oil company in at State…..but it only got more questionable.

When his DNI resigned and he nominated some guy named Ratcliffe I was concerned…the DNI is too important to give away to some “buddy” with zero experience.

Rep. John Ratcliffe got perhaps the biggest national exposure of his political career when he grilled Robert Mueller last week with a line of questioning that displayed his staunch support of President Trump. After the Mueller hearings, Ratcliffe got even more exposure when Trump announced that the Texas Republican was his pick to replace Dan Coats as director of national intelligence. The gist of coverage since then strongly suggests that Ratcliffe, 53, should not expect an easy confirmation. Details:

  • The criticism: In a story sussing this out, the Washington Post has this as its second paragraph: “Current and former intelligence officials also said Ratcliffe is the least-qualified person ever nominated to oversee the country’s intelligence agencies and questioned whether he would use the position to serve Trump’s political interests.” The story cites an op-ed by former defense officials Mike Vickers and Michael Morrell to that effect. They say he “would come to the job with by far the least experience in foreign policy and intelligence of any DNI in two decades.”
  • About that experience: ABC News is reporting that Ratcliffe has “misrepresented” his role in one big terrorism case involving Hamas. He claimed that he was appointed “special prosecutor” in 2008 and secured convictions in a money-funneling operation. But he actually had no direct role in that prosecution, according to all involved; instead he investigated issues related to a mistrial. “Because the investigation did not result in any charges, it would not be in accordance with Department of Justice policies to make further details public,” says a spokesperson.

Ratcliffe has since withdrawn his name as the DNI…..it was for the better but his next choice for DNI could be even less qualified.  He is looking for “yes” men and not qualified leaders.

Now Trump has nominated to replace Haley at the UN another unqualified ditz….the wife of a coal magnate…..

President Donald Trump’s recent choice of the relatively unknown Congressman John Ratcliffe for Director of National Intelligence and his elevation of Kelly Craft as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations—despite concerns about her inexperience—illustrates the power vacuum within Trump’s cabinet, and the opportunities this opens up for interventionists like National Security Advisor John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

The rash of remarkably unqualified and inexperienced candidates for top slots points to a presidency that values personal loyalty to Donald Trump above the ability to govern effectively. This atmosphere favors those with Washington insider status and the policy goals to bring it to fruition, say defense analysts who spoke to TAC.

Trump is nominating people that are weak and unqualified and this will in turn give the Neocon war mongers a free hand with no push back on their war chest thumping.

We can expect more war drums and more macho rhetoric trying to get the president to authorize the use of military force against a wide range of countries…..Iran, Venezuela for a start.

Then there is the withering of our national security because the leaders are so damn inexperienced that we are becoming less safe by the day….

This essay examines two situational cases regarding how influence is used at the national level. The first case will focus on unified influence efforts. The United States employed unified influence from the end of World War II up through the Church-Pike Committee Hearings in 1975. After the Church Hearings, strategic influence was federated with Psychological Operations remaining with DoD and Covert Influence remaining with the Central Intelligence Agency.  Other aspects of influence, particularly psychological warfare and political warfare left the lexicon as the social and cultural environment latched on to the negative connotations associated with these terms, despite their utility. We remain in a federated system now. Our threat environment remains persistent, unified, and adaptive with emerging platforms and methods of power delivery.

Our national security is at stake….maybe we need professionals to lead us through the minefield the president is laying.

Nothing this president is doing is making Americans safer.

Another moment in history when Americans can be proud (that is sarcasm)…….

The United States says it was one of three countries to vote against a U.N. resolution condemning the glorification of Nazism over freedom of speech issues and concerns that Russia was using it to carry out political attacks against its neighbors.

The resolution entitled “Combating glorification of Nazism, Neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fueling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,” was approved by the U.N.’s human rights committee on Friday with 131 in favor, 3 against with 48 abstentions.

Ukraine and Palau were the other no votes.

This is a sickening moment for me……I am ashamed of this country’s leaders that would allow this vote…..

The UN–Should We Go Or Should We Stay?

The Clash is blasting in the background…..

The United Nations has been a source of ridicule for Neocons for decades.

The Trump Administration has been pulling out of the major functions of the United Nations since they came to power….plus there are several functions that we have never signed up for in the past.

FYI, Politico has a slide show of all the treaties the US has not signed…..

https://www.politico.com/gallery/10-treaties-the-us-hasnt-ratified

I bring this up at this time because of something that the US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has said……

As Nikki Haley finishes her tenure this month, the woman who has spent the last two years representing the U.S. at the United Nations has a question for the American public: Should the U.S. remain a member?

“The American people need to decide if it’s worth it,” she said in an interview with a small group of journalists this week. There is a lot of waste and abuse at the UN, she said, and it is often “politically unfair” to the U.S. and its allies. That said, she also noted that the UN was the vehicle for imposing tough sanctions on North Korea and an arms embargo on South Sudan.

“There are rays of light,” she said. “But the verdict is still out.”

It’s easy to see where Haley is coming from — during her tenure, the UN has had to deal with scandals of the self-inflicted and political variety. It continues to suffer the repercussions of child sex abuse by UN peacekeepers. Meanwhile Russia’s veto at the Security Council, “one of the most frustrating things about the UN,” continues to protect Syria from facing accountability for chemical weapons attacks.

https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2018-12-21/nikki-haley-asks-should-the-u-s-stay-in-the-un

It is a great question.

The UN was a grand idea that the US did not take seriously out of ignorance and arrogance.

The whole idea of the Security Council with 5 permanent members that can veto anything put before it…..a stupid idea!

So I think we should consider our membership….either take the grand plan seriously or bow out and let the rest of the world get down to business.

What say you?

Another One Bites The Dust–Amb. Haley

Another Trump-ite takes it on the lamb…..this time it is another foreign policy person…Nikki Haley, UN ambassador…..she has tended her resignation…..

A surprise move in the Trump administration: Nikki Haley has resigned as ambassador to the UN, reports Axios. The reason why the former governor of South Carolina decided to step down wasn’t immediately clear. The AP confirms the development, reporting that she will meet with Trump shortly. The New York Times has some quick background, noting that Haley’s appointment to the post had been seen as an “olive branch” given her frequent criticism of Trump during the 2016 campaign. More recently, she wrote an op-ed saying that when she disagreed with Trump’s decisions, she never hesitated to confront him about it. The piece was her response to the anonymous author of an op-ed who criticized the White House from within.

I never thought she had the foreign policy chops to be the ambassador to the UN….she proved to be a true Neocon stooge in her words at the institution….

But could it be a news report that came out today?

From South Carolina’s The State…….

A Washington, D.C., watchdog group wants a federal investigation into U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s use of private planes owned by S.C. businessmen.

The group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, says Haley undervalued the flights by tens of thousands of dollars on her annual financial disclosure form required of federal officials.

The ethics group says the flights create the impression of impermissible gifts to a public official. However, Haley said on her disclosure the men are all personal friends and, thus, exempt from federal rules about accepting flights on private planes.

This also may be her best time to get away from Trump and his hateful attitudes….she is looking for a position bigger than the ambassador to the UN…..

It will be interesting to see who will get the next nod as ambassador to the UN.

Closing Thought–24Apr18

I have never been a fan of Nikki Haley as the ambassador to the UN……I thought she was too amateurish to run any sort of foreign policy venue…..

It seems that Haley has broken with her boss, Donald Trump, over the newest round of sanctions against Russia…..or should I say the sanctions that Trump refuses to implant…..Haley was very verbal when a Trump advisers tried to imply that Haley was “confused”……aand she fired back…HARD!

Nikki Haley is at war with Donald Trump. She may be his ambassador to the United Nations, but she wants to set a foreign policy all her own, closer to the global interventionism of George W. Bush or Hillary Clinton than to the muscular but restrained foreign policy that Trump campaigned on in 2016. Her differences with the president were on stark display this week, as she first announced sanctions against Russia that Trump had not approved, then shot back at the new director of the national economic council, Larry Kudlow, when he offered a diplomatic interpretation of her mistake. Kudlow ascribed her off-message remarks to “some momentary confusion,” to which Haley responded, “With all due respect, I don’t get confused.”

https://usa.spectator.co.uk/2018/04/the-war-party-is-ready-for-its-next-campaign-haley-2020/

I do not think she will have a chance in today’s GOP…..it is not what we could call….female friendly.

US Thugocracy

The recent vote in the UN on a non-binding resolution brought out the “THUG” in the Trump administration…..ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, made two speeches to the body of the UN and threatened the world with retaliation if the vote did not go in America’s favor…..but do not take my word for it….here are the two Nikki Haley speeches on one site……

https://www.timesofisrael.com/full-text-of-nikki-haleys-speech-at-un-security-council-debate-on-jerusalem/

Is that what the US has become?  An international thug that demands respect without giving it?  If things do not go our way then we let children starve is that what she was saying?

The disaster that is our diplomatic mission is making the world a more dangerous place.  And I see no relief headed our way.  Reenacting a scene from “Godfather” is not a way to a successful foreign policy.

Threatening nations that we will need in the future in our situation with North Korea or Iran or any other emergency that may arise is not the way forward.

Hunting Down The Enemy!

I admit it…..back in the day I was a true fan of pulp fiction….mostly spy novels….the location, the women, the equipment……

Then there are real life situations that smack of good fiction…..especially in the spy world……I recently wrote a post about the death of Russian ambassador……

Source: What The Hell? – In Saner Thought

Then there are those that see a conspiracy everywhere and this situation is no different….granted this is a Russian site and is a bit biased in their thoughts….but it does make for some interesting reading….

The more time passes, the more the deaths of Russian ambassadors abroad starts causing suspicions. It seems that something ominous happens. The ambassador of the Russian Federation in Sudan Mirgayas Shirinsky, who was found dead in the swimming pool of the office villa on August […]

Whatcha think?

What The Hell?

First–the tale of the foot.

I would like to thank all my readers that were concerned and offered their well wishes for the plight of my foot.

The damn thing is broken…oh badly broken and it will take a couple of months before it will be back to normal if ever…..

I appreciate the concern….you guys are the best.  chuq

Onward!

Recently a crazy story came out about the hearing damage that some American diplomats were suffering from while stationed in Cuba….some say it is happening to a few Canadian diplomats also.

That report was weird to say the least….but then I read another news article about Russian diplomats….

Russian ambassadors are dying at a startling rate: Russian and Sudanese authorities say Mirgayas Shirinsky was found dead at his Khartoum residence on Wednesday, making him the fourth Russian envoy to die overseas since December. Authorities say the 63-year-old was found in the residence’s swimming pool after suffering an apparent heart attack, the Sudan Tribune reports. Shirinsky had been the ambassador to Sudan since 2013, the New York Times reports. Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s UN envoy, died suddenly in February. Alexander Kadakin, Russia’s longtime ambassador to India, died after an illness in January. And Andrei Karlov, Russia’s ambassador to Turkey, was assassinated in December last year.

Not a good year for diplomats, huh?  Russian diplomats that is.

The Huntsman And The Cossack

A great title for a spy movie…..and believe it or not that is what we have going on between the US and Russia….a bad spy movie.

But this is about something that Trump has done that I see as something positive….at least for now…..

He has nominated Jon Huntsman as ambassador to Russia…….Huntsman, a former Utah governor, was U.S. ambassador to China from 2009 to 2011. He has served in the administrations of five U.S. presidents and was a candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

U.S. President Donald Trump will nominate Jon Huntsman, an envoy to China under former Democratic President Barack Obama, as U.S. ambassador to Russia, the White House said on Tuesday.

The job, all the more high-profile because of allegations that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, requires confirmation by the U.S. Senate.

If confirmed, Huntsman, who has long been expected to be Trump’s pick for the job, will head to Moscow as the U.S. Congress and a special counsel investigate Russia’s role in the 2016 presidential election and allegations that Trump’s campaign had ties to Moscow.

Huntsman has lots of experience as a diplomat…..but my question is can Trump and Huntsman work for the common good….or will it be contentious from the start?

I do not look for Huntsman to be in place for long……especially as this investigation progresses…..

For now I give Trump 2 thumbs up for his choice as Ambassador to Russia….but will my confidence last?
