The Iranian Logjam

For months we have seen this Israeli inspired war with Iran go back and forth….on again, off again and back on….basically it was an ill-conceived conflict that has become a logjam.

It looks like this is an unwinnable war….but what to do?

In an interview with Australian journalist Tom Switzer, Mearsheimer was asked why Trump seemed willing to accept an arrangement in which Iran is able to demand fees from transport ships in exchange for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which has been almost entirely shut down since the US and Israel began bombing Iran in late February.

“It’s very simple… he has no choice,” Mearsheimer replied. “He lost the war. This is a devastating defeat for the United States. Can you tell me what the United States should do to regain leverage over Iran? I actually think you can’t tell me because we have no solution.”

Mearsheimer then explained why Trump’s threats to escalate his assault on Iran ring completely hollow.

“One, he’s out of munitions,” the political scientist said. “Number two, our Gulf allies have told him, in no uncertain terms, that is unacceptable because the Iranians have made it clear that if we escalate, they will escalate, and they will destroy oil facilities, desalination plants, and so forth.”

https://www.commondreams.org/news/trump-iran-war-defeat

Believe it or not from time to time I do read the American Conservative and they have a take on Donny’s problem with Iran….

Time to face an uncomfortable truth: America lost the Iran War. It’s a development not only discomfiting but world-historical, marking the pitiful conclusion of American primacy and the “U.S.-led international order.”

President Donald Trump is in a bind. Escalating the war in hopes of changing the outcome would worsen its deleterious effects and almost certainly fail to force Iranian capitulation. But reaching a peace agreement is difficult, thanks to a near-total absence of Iranian trust in any commitments that Trump might make.

The solution to Trump’s predicament, I’ve come to believe, can be found in an unlikely source: a little-discussed work of political psychology published more than a half century ago. More on that anon but, in short, Trump should initiate a “peace race” with the Islamic Republic: unilaterally make a bold concession, invite Tehran to reciprocate, and continue the cycle until the U.S. and Iran have transformed mutual antipathy into constructive relations.

But before I get to the “call to action” portions of this column, let’s take stock of the stunning defeat America has suffered.

How Trump Can Break the Iran Logjam

Indeed an interesting thought….but I do not see Donny throwing up his hands and trying to solve the problem he is having with Iran.

Do you?

His hubris will not allow such a move…he still thinks he can bomb Iran into submission….he cannot….but Israel keeps egging him on and he gleefully does as he is told.

Maybe it is time to let reality in and face the ugly truth/…..

Hope is scarce now. The war begun by the US and Israel on 28 February has brought death but not regime change. Iran’s theocrats look more determined than ever to cling to power. Politicians who pass for moderates in Tehran have been sidelined. Iranians who dared to dream are crushed. The Strait of Hormuz is blocked. Oil and food prices are up around the world. The US has depleted its stockpiles of air defence interceptors, leaving few for Kyiv, Moldova, Taiwan or anyone else who wants to buy them. Washington has misjudged its adversary, squandered international respect and handed Tehran, which controls the strait, a strategic weapon more powerful than anything it could have mounted on a missile.

President Trump has claimed 38 times, by CNN’s count, to be close to a deal with Iran and turned out to be wrong. Seven times he has called off major attacks in the hope an agreement might finally be signed. His outriders are left to make fools of themselves. On Tuesday his treasury secretary claimed the US was in talks with Iran and a deal could come within hours. Iran retorted that the only talks in progress were with Oman. Trump has said of Iran’s leaders: “They just make me angry.” He just makes them more determined to cling to power.

https://observer.co.uk/opinion-and-ideas/leaders/article/trumps-war-in-iran-has-been-an-epic-failure

This is a failed endeavor that will not be acknowledged.

Plus the idea of claiming the Strait of Hormuz will not bring this stupidity to an end.

While Donny tries to focus on the dilemma the death and destruction continues…his brain farts are doing no one any good with the except of M-IC whose profits are soaring.

When will ever learn?

Is It Party Suicide?

The Left has started it’s rise and the old school Dems are rolling up their sleeves for the war for the heart of the Democratic Party.

My opinion is it is about damn time….we have suffered long and hard at the hands of the centrist and their greed and corruption.

The party is in the middle of committing political suicide.

A recent New York Times article, “Moderate Democrats Prepare for ‘War’ Against an Ascendant Left,” describes a disturbing perspective among mainstream, moderate, centrist Democrats. It is disturbing for many reasons.

First, there is the practical impact. If indeed mainstream Democrats attack socialist Democrats in a sustained, organized manner, there is only one possible result: the defeat of the Party in 2026 and the renewed vigor of Trump and his MAGA allies. Especially when combined with the all-out effort that AIPAC will mostly take to support Republican candidates running against Democratic candidates who are socialists. (See my article, “The Unscrupulousness of AIPAC.”)

If Party leaders, such as Obama, Clinton, and others, do not speak out forcefully against this misguided effort, the result could be catastrophic for the Party.

But beyond the practical impact, there is the existential impact. Democrats have for years been struggling without success to define what the Party stands for. As I have frequently quoted, after John Kerry lost the 2004 election, former Vice-President Mondale said, “We really need to work on the question of what we are for. Unless we have a vision and the arguments to match, I don’t think we’re going to truly connect with the American people“ And this was after a presidential election—the quadrennial defining moment for the Party!

The Democratic Party lost to Trump in 2016 and 2020, not because of the rabidness of Trump’s MAGA followers or his magnetism, but because the Party had redirected its attention. In modern times, the Party had always been the party of the people, of the workers. And they returned the favor; those were the Americans that provided the multi-ethnic and multi-color coalition that made the Party the powerhouse of American political life for most of the 20th century.

But after Ronald Reagan’s 1980 election, two unrelated things happened that caused the Party’s traditional voting coalition to split. First, in the aftermath of the election, there was much confusion regarding how the Party should regain its footing. At the same time, Democrats started using PACs to direct corporate funding to centrist candidates not tied to New Deal populism and principles and more focused on working with industry. This desire for corporate $, which only increased with time as campaigns became more expensive, had an inevitable policy impact. You can’t seek major contributions from corporations without providing them with access and policy influence.

https://thefulcrum.us/governance-legislation/democratic-party-political-strategy-return-to-foundational-values

I agree that the party lost it’s appeal to the working class with the election of Reagan and then it further betrayal in the 90s with Clinton and his embrace of the corporate thugs….and as they say the rest is history.

This, hopefully, will be a good internal conflict….but sadly the centrists and their billionaire backers will most likely win this battle and sadly the people will find little relief from the crush of the oligarchs.

This is so pathetic….the nation deserves something more than a rehash of old policies….

Even a couple of prominent Dems, centrists Dems like McAuliffe and Buttigieg are seeing he writing on the wall…..

First McAuliffe….

Democrats gathered in Texas last week were supposed to be mapping out their 2028 primary calendar; instead, they spent much of the time wrestling with their own growing pains. With the Democratic Party split between energized progressives and more cautious centrists, former DNC Chair Terry McAuliffe delivered a blunt message: Stop “hand-wringing,” quit “lemon-sucking,” and capitalize on what he called the best political terrain Democrats have had in a decade as November’s midterm elections near. DNC Chair Ken Martin, under fire over finances, leadership style, and a leaked “autopsy” of the 2024 cycle, also insisted the focus should be on the elections “in 80 days,” not internal drama, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Tensions still surfaced at the Austin meeting: Black Caucus members pressed Martin for more get-out-the-vote funding—”the money must match the message”—even as party officials touted record investments in Black and Latino outreach and recent fundraising gains. The party remains in the red, with more than $18 million in debt and trailing Republicans’ cash reserves. “Voters don’t care about internal squabbles,” said Reyna Walters-Morgan, a vice chair of the DNC. “What they care about is how are we going to get rid of this administration?”

Then Buttigieg says that getting rid of Donny will not repair the nation….

Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg warned Democrats on Sunday that defeating President Donald Trump would not be enough to repair the country, while Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey cast her reelection campaign as a defense against the administration’s attacks on immigrants, healthcare and LGBTQ+ rights.

Speaking at a fundraiser for Healey at the Gifford House in Provincetown, Buttigieg argued that Democrats must offer voters something more ambitious than a return to the political and economic order that existed before Trump. Healey, one of the country’s first out lesbian governors, told supporters that Massachusetts must serve as a bulwark against the president, and warned that Trump would attempt to undermine the midterm elections.

https://www.advocate.com/politics/national/pete-buttigieg-maura-healey-provincetown

While these two make good points I still do not see the DNC coming up with a viable plan for change.

Do you?

We need to embrace change….we need relief from the out of control capitalism….we need progressive thought and action.

Thoughts?

Want To Get Involved?

Note: This is my last post of the day for it is 7 am and my chemo starts at 8 and as I have said in the past afterwards I am in no mood….I will try to answer replies as best I can.

We have at our disposal several ways to get involved in the government…we can write letters, send emails, call our Reps ans sign petitions….

This is a petition to try and force the government to be honest with the voters….

https://usafacts.org/data-we-depend-on/

If you would like feel that you are involved in  some sort of change then by all means sign this petition.

Personal note:  I like the idea of having my desires known to the government…..I am not sure that they will pay attention to no matter type of communication you choose.

It has been my experience that the ones involved ignore these attempts of people to try and help instigate change.

Personally, I do believe they give a shit what we thing or what we want. (Just my opinion).

A Shift In Strategy?

For months now the conflict with Iran has been on again and off again….someone needs to make up their mind and pick a course preferably a peaceful one…..so once again Donny may have shift in tactics?

President Trump appears to be shifting into a new strategy with Iran for the time being, one that emphasizes economic pain over military strikes. “We are low-keying it,” Trump tells Axios. “We are only semi-negotiating with them,” he said, asserting that Iran is buckling under inflation, lack of cash, and a US-led naval blockade. With oil prices back under $80, Trump said Americans are feeling less strain and likened the standoff to “a chess game.” (Has he even looked at a gas pump?)

The immediate flashpoint is the partially closed Strait of Hormuz. A US-Iran-Oman deal to reopen it, granting Tehran some new authority over shipping, has stalled as Iran’s Supreme National Security Council chief unveiled tougher conditions, including sanctions relief and compensation. The president’s new posture comes amid widespread reports that the US is running short of key weapons, which the White House denies. Still, Bloomberg reports that Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen Feinberg asked defense companies to “accelerate” munitions production days after Trump called him about the issue. One US official tells the outlet it will take years to replenish the stocks.

I guess a shortage of missiles can have that effect on the on-going conflict.

Iran has issued a list of demands….

Iran issued a broad, new set of demands to the US on Saturday for the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, a senior security official, laid out the conditions including an end to the US naval blockade and sanctions, withdrawal of American forces around Iran, payment of war reparations, release of frozen assets, and a halt to attacks on Iran’s regional allies. The list complicates ongoing talks between Iran and Oman over how to manage the strait, which Iran largely shut down after the US and Israel began their attacks in February, the New York Times reports.

The strait will not open until the US “corrects its behavior,” the statement said, per the AP. White House officials did not immediately comment. The strait runs between Iran and Oman; Iran’s foreign minister said it’s close to a deal with Oman on a temporary shipping route but insists any reopening hinges on US compliance with a June cease-fire memorandum that the two sides interpret differently. Traffic through the strait has fallen from about 130 ships a day to just over a dozen, per the Times.

Of course could not stand by and let Iran grab the headlines.

Iran has called for reparations from the US and not to be outdone Donny thinks Iran should pay to the US…..(seriously?)

resident Trump is trying to flip Iran’s push for war reparations back on Tehran. In a Truth Social post Monday, the president said he’s told his negotiators to demand compensation from Iran for Americans killed or injured in attacks linked to Tehran, calling Iran’s own reparations demand “an interesting idea” to copy. He cited deaths from roadside bombs, “many conflicts,” and even the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole—an attack attributed to al-Qaeda, not Iran, the Independent reports. The government blames Iran-backed militants for the deaths of more than 600 US troops in Iraq and the bombing that killed 241 US military personnel in Beirut in 1983, reports the AP.

  • In a follow-up post, Trump said, “Also, with respect to the Iran negotiations, Iran should be responsible for the damages and death caused to the people of Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Gaza!  (they did not killed themselves….Israel is the aggressor)
  • Trump also said Tehran should pay compensation to the “hundreds of thousands of innocent protestors that Iran has killed over the last 50 years, not to mention the 52,000 that have been killed in the last five months.” The Independent notes that it’s not clear where Trump got the 52,000 number. US and Israeli estimates of war deaths so far are a little over 6,000. The Times of Israel notes that it’s also not clear how significant Trump’s announcement is, “given that negotiations with Iran are said to have hit a dead end.” On Sunday, Trump said the US is “low-keying it” and only “semi-negotiating.” (should the US pay reparations to it’s innocent protesters?)
  • Over the weekend, a senior Iranian official laid out six conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, including lifting sanctions, ending US military operations in the region, and paying compensation for “imposed wars.” An interim ceasefire framework expires in just over a week, with no clear path to an extension.

I apologize for I feel I must be blunt….Donny could f*ck up a wet dream.

This so-called ‘diplomacy’ that he and Little Marco and Pistol Pete play at is laughable if it were not so f*cking sad.

I weep for the diplomatic corps of this country.

Indefensible Position

Donny and his Merry Band of Morons has done a great job in making sure the country goes hungry while the Tech Bros fiddle.

About 1.5 million children will go hungry thanx to Donny and the Boyz….

At least 1.5 million children have lost Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits since US President Donald Trump signed the Republican budget package into law last summer, enacting the largest cuts to federal food aid in the nation’s history.

The new estimate of food aid loss among children comes from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), which said Tuesday that SNAP participation was down by over 4.5 million people overall between July 2025 and April 2026. Refuting the Trump administration’s narrative, the liberal think tank emphasized that the unemployment rate nationwide has been roughly flat since last July, meaning it is “very unlikely that reduced need is driving the decline in SNAP participation.”

Arizona has seen the most staggering decline in SNAP participation. It has fallen 48% overall and 49% among children in the state since enactment of the Trump-GOP budget law, which instituted new work-reporting requirements for some recipients and punishments for states with elevated payment error rates. Under Republican law, states will for the first time have to pay a portion of SNAP benefit costs, which previously were fully covered by the federal government.

“Grotesque and indefensible,” policy analyst Michael Linden wrote in response to the new data, noting that the Republican budget law slashed taxes for wealthy households while decimating SNAP.

https://www.commondreams.org/news/children-lose-snap-benefits

This is not something to be proud of and yet the GOP and the Dems just keep plugging away at the entitlements.

What to do?

Seems every time Donny opens that useless mouth food prices go up….what to do?

What’s for dinner? Lately, at Apral Jack’s house, it’s whatever is on sale. Jack scouts an app for deals at her local supermarket before she buys groceries. When she reaches the store, she grabs the weekly circular to look for coupons she might have missed. If the shelf prices look too high, she scratches items off her list or tries to find lower prices someplace else, the AP reports. “The apples went up here, the ones I eat, so now I’m not going to get them here. I’ll go to Market Basket, where I can get them cheaper,” Jack, 50, said as she pushed a cart into a Stop & Shop near her home in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Couponing, comparison shopping, and cutting back on favorite foods are new habits for millions of Americans as they absorb the biggest jump in grocery prices in a half-century. Buying food to eat at home has gotten 33% more expensive in US cities since the beginning of 2019, according to government figures. In the 7½ years before that, prices rose 6.4%. The historic increase happened for numerous reasons, per the AP:

  • The coronavirus pandemic snarled supply chains and raised labor and transportation costs.
  • Droughts, hurricanes and diseases like bird flu drove down production.
  • Tariffs raised prices on foreign products like coffee, tomatoes and chocolate.
  • Russia’s ongoing war in Ukraine disrupted oil and fertilizer supplies.

With a fresh conflict in the Middle East accelerating food price inflation again this year, the cost of filling American refrigerators, freezers, and pantries has become a frustration for Americans and made affordability a central issue in the fall midterm elections. And consumers are developing their own ways to deal with the prices, a market researcher said. The AP’s full report, which includes some of those strategies, can be found here.

The key is to get creative and watch for deals.  Of course this only for some not those that think we should just roll with the punches and it is no big deal…..yes they are out there.

We are stuck in this cycle of price increases for the foreseeable future.

Remembering USS Liberty

Every year I post on the dastardly attack by Israel on the US Naval ship, USS Liberty…..I would like to now post on one of the survivors of that attack that is died.

On Friday, July 31, 2026, Lieutenant Commander James M. Ennes, Jr., US Navy, ret., slipped his cable and unfurled his sails. With the Great Pilot at the helm, he set a course to his final home port.

LCDR Ennes, then Lieutenant Ennes, was serving aboard the USS Liberty (AGTR-5) when, on June 8, 1967, Israeli forces began a combined aerial and naval assault, lasting over an hour, that killed 34 Americans and wounded more than 170 others. LCDR Ennes was seriously wounded in the attack. The official record indicates that Navy medical staff expected him to remain on medical leave for seven months as he recovered from multiple shrapnel wounds and multiple fractures of his left femur. LCDR Ennes did recover sufficiently to serve in the Navy as a cryptologic officer until his retirement in 1978.

On the day of the attack, the Liberty was repeatedly reconnoitered by Israeli military aircraft over the span of several daylight hours and positively identified as an American ship flying the American flag. The Liberty never approached closer than thirty-eight nautical miles to the Israeli coast. Nevertheless while steaming in clear weather and calm seas in international waters of the Mediterranean Sea northwest of the Egyptian city of al-ʿArīsh, the Liberty came under repeated aerial attack by Israeli forces at approximately 2 PM, local time, followed by an assault by Israeli motor torpedo boats.

May LCDR Ennes rest in peace….

Cuba In The Crosshairs

Since the Cuban revolution there has been a US embargo of goods and services to Cuba in an attempt to bring the new Castro government to its knees.

In 60+ years this dynamite plan has done little to end the current admin on the island nation.

Plus the cost of this plan is in the billions per year….that’s right I wrote….BILLIONS.

The Trump Administration’s indictment of former Cuban President Raúl Castro, the deployment of the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier and warships, and recent measures pressuring countries not to supply oil to Cuba are all intended to force regime change on the island. These policies are part of the United States’ long-standing campaign against the Cuban government, codified in 1962 with the U.S. embargo on Cuba, and have created what could be described as Cuba’s “New Special Period,” comparable to the original “Special Period” in the 1990s after the loss of support from the Soviet Union. The Cuban revolution against the U.S.-backed Batista dictatorship has survived 64 of its 67 years under what U.S. officials call an “embargo.” Cubans call it “el bloqueo” (the blockade), arguing that its impact has been just as physically isolating as a military blockade. Suffering aside, the amount of money that the United States has spent on enforcing this policy of economic isolation—the longest blockade in history—could instead have been used to address pressing social needs throughout the United States. This raises the question: Was the blockade worth the cost? And if so, for whom?

According to Doctors Without Borders’ “The Practical Guide to Humanitarian Law,” a blockade is an act of war that seeks to isolate an adversary, disrupt economic activity, and prevent the movement of vital supplies. Under an embargo, a country prohibits its own companies or subsidiaries from engaging in business with another country, rather than interfering with third parties. Through what is essentially a broader economic blockade, the United States has intermittently prevented Cuba from commerce with other nations. As President Donald Trump has become even more strident, the United Nations has criticized his administration’s policy of imposing tariffs on any country that sends oil to Cuba as a serious violation of international law. Earlier this year, a military blockade was evident as “the U.S. Coast Guard intercepted a tanker full of Colombian fuel oil en route to Cuba within 70 miles of the island,” according to the New York Times. The U.S. government knows that a blockade is an act of war, according to Connecticut.

https://www.counterpunch.org/2026/08/06/the-costs-of-the-us-blockade-on-cuba/

This whole big idea is about as successful as our idiotic war on drugs…..waste of time, effort and money.

I hope Cuba is keeping an eye on what Donny and the Boyz are planning.

What about the newest thing about Cuba?

The Cold War is getting a quiet sequel in the Caribbean, reports the New York Times. The CIA has formed a classified Cuba task force aimed at stepping up pressure on Havana to make economic, political, and leadership changes sought by US President Trump, according to officials briefed on the move. The unit is pulling in case officers, analysts, cyber specialists, and covert influence operators, and is backed by a broader intelligence shift that just elevated Cuba to a top-tier US spying priority alongside China, Iran, and Russia, the sources say.

Unlike the CIA’s Bay of Pigs-era task force, this one isn’t authorized to train armed proxies or run lethal missions. Its goal, sources say, is to expose and exploit fractures within Cuba’s ruling elite and encourage the rise of leaders more open to Washington’s demands. Cuban officials, for their part, denounce the effort as familiar “espionage, subversion and destabilization.” Adam Entous’ piece in the Times traces how this new campaign grew out of past cooperation, Trump’s hard line, and the administration’s broader regional strategy—read the full article for more. Sources who spoke to Politico similarly say the Trump administration is pushing for Cuba’s communist regime to fall entirely, or reform.

Like I said….Cuba in the crosshairs.

Joke Of The Week

Our Dear Donny has voiced his disdain over the huge profits the oil companies have been making……are you kidding me?

President Trump is publicly turning on two of his staunchest industry allies. On Monday, he slammed Exxon Mobil and Chevron for “making too much money” as drivers face gasoline prices averaging about $4.10 a gallon, up from under $3 before US and Israeli strikes on Iran earlier this year, reports Politico. “They’re going to give some of that back to the public,” he said, per CNBC, “and they better cut the retail price, the consumer price.”

“Based on a shortage, they’re making too much money,” Trump said Monday. “I don’t like it, and I should be the last one to say because I’m a big free enterprise guy—nobody bigger.” Both oil giants just posted massive quarterly results, helped by higher crude prices and fat refining margins. Their CEOs warned that limited refining capacity could keep fuel costs elevated into the fall. Chevron declined to comment, while Exxon didn’t respond to a request for comment. The American Petroleum Institute said prices reflect global supply, demand, and geopolitical tensions, not “any one company.” Trump has already ordered a DOJ probe into why prices aren’t falling faster.

Yes that is a joke.

The dimwit does not realize that his indecision and vocal bullshit is what has lead to these huge profits.

His ill-conceived war with Iran has allowed these mega corporations to do as they please when it comes to the price of gas.

Apparently no one in his cabinet has the balls to tell this mental midget what is causing these huge profits.

A stable genius my old ass!

BiBi Does Not Agree

You were expecting something different?

Recently Hamas has said it will begin to disarm…..of course I had to write about the turn…

Hamas Update

Most thinking people knew that this would not fly with BiBi and even his buddy Donny has a plan that he does not agree with….go figure….

Donny’s brain child the Board of Peace has issued its plan and BiBi is stalling…..

In a video posted to his social media accounts on Tuesday night, Netanyahu said the team of President Donald Trump “believes that they can bring about the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of Gaza. We are checking this. They sent us a draft – we did not agree to it, it is not our draft. We sent our comments.”

Netanyahu met with the US-backed Board of Peace on Monday and received guarantees that the Israeli army would only be required to leave its current positions in Gaza after Hamas disarms.

But pressure has been growing on the premier from his far-right coalition partners to reject the deal.

Hamas on Tuesday called for clarifications from the Board of Peace, voicing “unease” over comments it made regarding the group’s prospective disarmament and Israel’s withdrawal in Gaza.

A Hamas official said Tuesday that Hamas and other Palestinian factions “are uneasy with the statement issued by (Nickolay) Mladenov after his meeting with Netanyahu,” referring to the high representative for Gaza under the Board of Peace.

“The statement focused solely on the issue of weapons and failed to address the occupation’s obligations, particularly those related to humanitarian aspects and Israel’s commitment to halting its aggression, including aerial and artillery bombardment, gunfire, assassinations and military operations in the Gaza Strip,” the official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, which are mediating the truce in Gaza, have criticized Israel after renewed strikes in the Palestinian territory.

Qatar blamed Israel on Tuesday for delays in implementing the Trump plan for Gaza.

“It is clear to the international community who is obstructing the implementation of the agreement,” Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson Majed Al Ansari told reporters. “The full responsibility lies on the Israeli side.”

An increase in Israeli strikes in Gaza over recent days was “nothing more than an attempt to derail the plan’s implementation and block peaceful solutions,” he added.

Following Monday’s meeting with Netanyahu, the Board of Peace posted on X that Israel’s withdrawal beyond the Yellow Line, which demarcates the area between Hamas and Israeli military control, “will take place only once decommissioning (of weapons) is complete, as Hamas committed to the mediators.”

(tag24.com)

I love being right.

BiBi has to make the Israeli far-right happy if he wants to keep his job….and boy does he want to keep his job.

No matter what is done in Gaza to try and stop the killing will be ignored by Israel…..the killing will continue.

What will Donny do?

My guess is….not much.
