The “Dirt Bag” Wing

With all the success that the DSA is having in the elections the propaganda wing of MAGA pulls out all the stops to trash what is happening.

I want to say that I do not support this type of bullshit reporting I offer it up as FYI and to show just how far the MAGA machine will go to misinform the public.

Most of this is LIES.

The Damage Is Done

There many people that are hoping that the next election we rid ourselves of Donny and Goon Patrol….and then, they say, we can start getting the country back together….I disagree the damage is done and the repair will be a massive undertaking.

An undertaking that I do not feel the Dems are capable of taking on.

Politicians want us to believe the answers are just an election away….I am not one of them and neither is Buttigieg….

Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg warned Democrats on Sunday that defeating President Donald Trump would not be enough to repair the country, while Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey cast her reelection campaign as a defense against the administration’s attacks on immigrants, healthcare and LGBTQ+ rights.

Speaking at a fundraiser for Healey at the Gifford House in Provincetown, Buttigieg argued that Democrats must offer voters something more ambitious than a return to the political and economic order that existed before Trump. Healey, one of the country’s first out lesbian governors, told supporters that Massachusetts must serve as a bulwark against the president, and warned that Trump would attempt to undermine the midterm elections.

“What our task is before us is not just to reconstruct the broken pieces of the previous status quo,” Buttigieg said. “When we talk about something better, that means not just better than now. It means better than before.”

It was the central argument of his speech. Trump did not emerge from a country functioning as it should. The economic and political conditions that preceded him helped make his rise possible, Buttigieg said, and merely rewinding the clock would leave those conditions intact.

Buttigieg said he and his husband, Chasten Buttigieg, had traveled through about 32 states since he left the Biden administration, including Republican-held communities that rarely host nationally prominent Democrats. He described drawing crowds in rural Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Nebraska and the Georgia district represented by Republican former U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

In those places, Buttigieg said, he has encountered independents and people he calls “future former Republicans” who believed Trump’s promises to lower prices and avoid foreign wars. Their disappointment, Buttigieg warned, does not mean they will automatically embrace Democrats.

“An opening is not the same thing as an answer,” he said.

https://www.advocate.com/politics/national/pete-buttigieg-maura-healey-provincetown

I agree with him….just because you are not Trump does not mean that the country can be repaired quickly.

I see his comment is blowing up social media in a good way.

There is so much damage that repair will take more than a return to what Dems call normal….and normal for them is what lead to a Trump victory.

Americans need to hear the truth and not the usual campaign promises that accomplish nothing.

The State’s Primaries Battles

The big news was that the progressive won in Michigan primary but there were other races in other states that did not get as much ink.

We have a little FYI…..breakdown of the races….

https://theweek.com/politics/democratic-primaries-wins-leftist-center

Meanwhile back to Michigan….it is fascinating because AIPAC spent a ba-zillion dollars to defeat El-Sayed and it failed spectacularly….but not to worry AIPAC and their cash will not go away in Michigan….The Democratic establishment squandered its remaining credibility kowtowing to AIPAC, the most powerful foreign lobby, widening the chasm between the Democratic base and its leadership. AIPAC funding and endorsements from Democratic leaders like Chuck Schumer and Gretchen Whitmer carried little weight in Democratic primaries.

AIPAC just spent $32 million trying to beat Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary—and lost. Now the pro-Israel lobbying giant is weighing a second, more unusual maneuver, by putting serious money behind Republican nominee Mike Rogers in the November general election. The tactic would mark a sharp break for an organization that has long cast itself as firmly bipartisan and only began direct election spending in 2022, the New York Times reports. El-Sayed defeated US Rep. Haley Stevens, who had AIPAC’s backing, in a close race on Tuesday.

AIPAC’s United Democracy Project super PAC has about $80 million in the bank, and allies expect “tens of millions” could flow into the Michigan race. AIPAC’s spokesperson said its members are determined to see voters reject El-Sayed, who has centered criticism of Israel in his campaign and pledged to cut off US aid. Rogers, by contrast, calls himself a strong backer of Israel. The group’s primary spending has drawn blowback, per the Times, with polling showing nearly half of Michigan Democrats view AIPAC unfavorably and strategists warning that heavy-handed intervention is backfiring in blue primaries. Still, some donors want AIPAC to “double down.” There are pro-Israel voices warning that siding with a Republican in a swing-state Senate race could further erode AIPAC’s standing with Democrats.

It is no secret that I do not like or trust AIPAC and their intentions….so to say I am pleased that they lost their cash puts a smile on my face.

I doubt that this was a major concern of the voter, their pro-Israel stance, the fact that their candidate lost is a good sign for the US….I just hope this becomes a trend and AIPAC looses all the political teeth.

Maybe now more people will see AIPAC for what it is…..a foreign agent that influences the voting here in the US.

The fun will be that a challenge for debates has been offered…..

After winning Michigan’s Democratic primary contest for US Senate, Abdul El-Sayed wasted no time on Wednesday, challenging the Republican nominee, former Congressman Mike Rogers, to five debates before the November general election.

“Mike,” El-Sayed said at a podium while speaking with reporters on Wednesday morning, “I know you’re gonna say no ‘cause you’re a coward: Five debates, all right?”

“If you’re willing to stand with me and have a conversation—you and I both know that you will wither in front of your own crimes. But Imma make sure Michiganders know about them,” he continued. “By the time we’re done, you are not gonna have safe quarter from people holding you accountable to what you’ve done for them here in Michigan. We will send you back to Florida where you belong.”

https://www.commondreams.org/news/abdul-el-sayed-results

It will be fun to hear what excuses Rogers will offer to avoid the debate.

Does anyone think that Rogers is willing to put his MAGA leaning policies to the public in this forum….I say nope…..after all like most MAGA leaning people he is a coward.

Anything to add?

It Is A Primary Win!

After all the money and mud slung at the progressive candidate the Michigan primary is a win for the progressive….cool!

Abdul El-Sayed has won Michigan’s Democratic nomination for US Senate, defeating US Rep. Haley Stevens in a massive victory for the party’s progressive wing in a battleground state. The real test of El-Sayed’s and progressives’ strength will now come in a November matchup against Republican Mike Rogers, a former congressman who ran unopposed for the GOP nomination. The seat is pivotal to Democrats’ chances of flipping the Senate, and El-Sayed will face the challenge of uniting a divided Democratic base after a bruising primary. The race remained tight throughout Tuesday night, with a winner not declared until early Wednesday, reports the AP. In his final remarks at a primary night party before the race was called, El-Sayed said “tomorrow we begin to mend fences.” El-Sayed’s campaign said Stevens called to concede Wednesday.

El-Sayed’s win represents a significant shift for the Democratic Party; in 2018 he lost the gubernatorial primary to now-Gov. Gretchen Whitmer by 21 percentage points. El-Sayed, a former health official, campaigned on “Medicare for All,” halting military aid to Israel, and campaign finance reform. Now comes the more difficult challenge for Democrats: uniting the party to defeat Rogers, for whom Republicans have already reserved large sums of money ahead of the general election. Democrats consider the seat a must-win if they are to flip control of the Senate this year. Those stakes have added heat to the rivalry, with moderates arguing that El-Sayed would have a harder time than Stevens against a Republican in the general election.

While El-Sayed has said he is not a democratic socialist, he found support from some of the group’s members. That included Melat Kiros, who recently beat a longtime incumbent in a Democratic primary for a Denver-based House seat and was at El-Sayed’s watch party. Also there was Hasan Piker, a progressive and controversial influencer online. National groups poured unprecedented sums into the race, making it one of the country’s biggest tests of outside spending.

A great thing for Michigan in my opinion…..but do not get too excited just yet for he has to meet the GOP’s candidate and who knows what the spineless moderates will do come election time.

Somebody needs to track where the opposition money comes from and keep us peasants informed….and that will not be the MSM.

The Secret Chapter

Recently the DNC released its report on what went wrong with the 2024….how could they lose to Donny?

For those that did not get around to the post I put on-line….

2024 Election Autopsy

But there is part of the autopsy that they did not want to put out for our consumption….

The New York Times on Monday published what it described as a “missing chapter” of the Democratic National Committee’s widely criticized “autopsy” of the 2024 presidential election.

The chapter, titled “What Happened in 2024” and provided to the Times by Democratic strategist Paul Rivera, offers criticisms of party consultants who are “self-enriching” and out of touch with the concerns of ordinary voters.

Specifically, the chapter questions whether Democratic politicians and operatives have a grasp on the economic realities facing most Americans, while calling for “a fundamental re-evaluation” of whether Democrats “really understand the wants and needs of voters.”

“An emerging critique of Democratic decision-making,” the chapter states, “is there are too many people who have become generationally wealthy off politics and drive too much of the decision-making within the ecosystem. This is deeply frustrating to many… who want to try a different set of politics but keep banging their heads up against a system proven to be inflexible and self-enriching.”

The chapter adds that “many of the people who worked at the highest levels of the party” are “financially secure,” and thus potentially insulated “from the realities many Americans were encountering in their lives.”

https://www.commondreams.org/news/dnc-autopsy-missing-chapter

My first response was….NO SHIT!

That is what us on the so-called Left have been saying for decades and now the DNC wanted to keep that part of the report a secret….not wanting you to see that what you have been saying is exactly why these losers cannot win a descent election.

The DNC is full of overly wealthy people that have no idea what you and I must face everyday….out of touch is putting it mildly.

Did you see this in any of your mainstream media sites?

I guess is no you did not.

This needs to be widely distributed so that we all can see what the party is doing and more specifically….not doing.

Pass it on.

2028–A Look Ahead

I know it is early but the trash has started already and the midterms are not final yet….both sides of the aisle are worried about the rise of Progressives.

The corporate Dem candidates illustrate just how impotent they have become…..time for new leadership for the Dems….

Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) on Wednesday called for “new leadership” within the Democratic Party, alleging that the caucus never fully recovered from its 2024 elections losses.

“Every day there’s a debate within the party about the path forward,” Slotkin said during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Straight Shooter” podcast hosted by Stephen A. Smith.

“That’s why I believe we need significant new leadership. The old models are no longer working, and that includes the Democratic Party,” she added.

Slotkin said new leaders are needed in both chambers of Congress, in addition to a new form of messaging that’s singularly focused on a core set of issues.

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5941463-slotkin-democrat-leadership-change/

Most Progressives have been calling for this a at least a decade…..

But since the DSA is making such success within the party the media is started its campaign to change the tide…..they are picking who they want to run in 2028….

Democrats are approaching what could be their most wide-open presidential primary in decades, but I’d venture a confident prediction today: one of the two Georgia senators will be on the party’s ticket in 2028.

Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, the two Democrats who delivered their party a majority with their twin victories at the end of the first Trump term, could bookend the outgoing president eight years later.

https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2026/06/15/georgia-democratic-senators-elections-00961080

Sad that the MSM has started their smear campaign earlier than normal.

The DNC needs to sell substance not symbolism…..and the search for the next Obama….

Top party strategists have spent months warning that Democrats can’t win back the White House in 2028 by banking on voters’ dissatisfaction with Trump and MAGA. Obama’s 2012 campaign manager Jim Messina put it directly in an interview with Axios: “You can’t win a presidential election on opposition alone.” He added that “the midterms are going to be 85-90% driven by voter opposition to Trump and maybe 10-15% based on what Dems stand for.” “We cannot rely on that same calculation to win in 2028.”

The 2028 Democratic nominee will need to do more than beat a Republican. They will need to tell a story about what the party actually stands for – and make it stick with voters who have heard that pitch before and walked away unimpressed.

( who are these ‘frontrunners’?)

Who is the 2028 Democratic Nominee? Democrats Search for the Next Obama

The next Obama is out there right now the problem is the DNC is afraid of the person/s….they are a threat to the money machine they have come accustomed to in their political lives.

Some even want to give Harris another shot….

There are only two lanes to the Democrat presidential nomination two years from now, and one of them is already blocked—by Kamala Harris.

Get ready for the Kamala comeback, followed, in all likelihood, by a replay of her crushing defeat by the Republican nominee.

https://www.dailysignal.com/2026/07/26/kamala-harris-in-2028/

That is so much bullshit….she is a proven loser the people do not need to be reminded of her loss.  Just let her slip into obscurity.

I say it is time to throw a monkey wrench into that money machine.

We all want a stable government that protects our rights and freedoms…..that is only possible with the destruction of the corrupt money machine.

Onward to 2028

Disarm, Defund, Destroy

That is the headline in the extreme Right Wing rag, the Washington Examiner….it is referring to what these slugs say is the plan of the DSA for the foreign policy of this nation.

This is WE’s breakdown of the DSA platform….

The platform’s four foreign policy principles are worth examining in turn. The first is “end the U.S. war machine.” The steps are spelled out: defund the Pentagon, close overseas bases, and prosecute American “war criminals” through the International Criminal Court. In other words, unilateral disarmament. This is the opposite of what the U.S. should be doing while China, Russia, Iran, and other adversaries increasingly threaten our security. Yet in the DSA’s eyes, American militarism is the problem.

If you need more bullshit from a MAGA rag like this then here is the article….

Disarm, defund, destroy: The terrifying truth behind the DSA’s agenda

But to help my reader out…here is what the DSA platform has to say…

Defund the Department of War. End all foreign wars and close overseas military bases. Support and fully employ veterans. End immunity for U.S. war criminals and support the International Criminal Court’s mandate to prosecute war crimes.

People around the world deserve to live their lives without U.S. interference. End economic warfare against countries whose governments act independently of the United States, such as Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran.

But do not take my word for it…..https://program.dsausa.org/#demand-democratic-congress

Now my take….the Pentagon does not need $1.5 trillion so yes I say defund this before it gets further out of hand….I also think that if a crime against humanity was committed by a leader then they should be held accountable….I do not know what the idiots at the WE mean by destroy so I will let that go as a lie….

The majority of Americans want all these petite wars to end….most Americans want this country to figure in the policy making first then the rest of the world….and that sounds like what the DSA is pushing…..at least to me.

Those “Loony” Positions

Since the DSA has been having some success in the elections I have watched the predicted panic from the MAGA twats and also from Dems and most of the centrists (who pretend they are independent voters)….all this chaos these dweebs are creating is really amusing.

That Repub, ex-House member, Joe Scarborough, who has not been Donny’s biggest fan, has had his say about the ‘progressives’ success….

Joe Scarborough has managed to find some common ground with a man he frequently criticizes, President Trump. On Monday’s Morning Joe, Scarborough made the case that Democrats were embracing “extreme” positions on their left flank, reports Mediaite. The reference is to the success of social democrats in Democratic primaries, a group that Trump has taken to calling “communists.” “I mean, there have been some extraordinarily loony ideas coming from some,” said Scarborough. “Some of these people have actually won races and are going to be seated in Congress, most likely. Like, you know, getting rid of prisons, getting rid of cops, that didn’t work well for Democrats before, didn’t work well for American cities, either.”

His comments came in a discussion with Ed Luce of the Financial Times, who wrote a column suggesting that the Democratic Socialists of America “comes across as anti-American, which does not play well in the heartlands.” Both say that the DSA’s recent wins are clustered in safe, highly educated districts, not among the working-class voters Democrats need. Scarborough likened the moment to the 2020 primary, saying progressive contenders performed well early, but Joe Biden’s centrist stance ultimately prevailed—and predicted a similar clash of visions in the party’s next presidential contest.

His ingrained BS from being a GOP toadie is started to show again….get rid of cops, nowhere did I see that as a policy….I did see defund the police and take away that military air about them and let them go back to serving the community not the M-IC….plus Joe said that lack of police did not work well for cities….and which American cities would that be?

Hey Joe!  Here is what the DSA platform says….

Demilitarize police departments, disempower police unions, and redirect funding to public services. Treat drug addiction and mental illness as health issues, not crimes. End qualified immunity and empower civilian oversight bodies with real authority over the police.

The platform does call for replacement of the police but they will be as popular as the Dems promise of health reform.

The platform also calls for Healthcare for all, housing reforms, tax reform, education reforms and the Green New Deal….none of it is anything a Repub or a Dem will support…that brings me to a question I often ask….If these ideas are not good then what does the Democratic Party stand for?

That little demented nazi, Miller, has lots to say about Dems….

White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller blasted the Democratic Party as “a party of freaks, weirdos, losers, and crazies,” warning that if they gain power, the “American people will lose everything.”

Let me ask just what has the American people, working people, got from this admin with all its morons?  I may agree with him if he is speakjing of the centrists….but anyone else and he is full of shit.

That is not something new for me for I wrote about it 10 years ago…..

What’s A ‘Democrat’ Anymore?

There was NO answer ten years ago and that trend continues for there is NO answer today.

There are the obvious answers….they are for greed, corruption and wasteful government….but those are feelings not real answers….then what is the long overdue answer?

Will these few upcoming elections answer the question.

I think not.

Those Swing Voters

As we draw ever closer to the general election the bane of our system will be reported heavily, at least it is my belief, that of the ‘swing voter’….

Who are these mystical voters that both parties want on their side?

A swing voter is an individual who does not consistently support one political party and whose voting behavior can vary from election to election. These voters are often seen as crucial in determining the outcome of elections, as their choices can significantly influence the results. Swing voters may change their allegiance based on various factors, including candidates’ policies, campaign strategies, and current events.

Basically it is a voter without party allegiance….put still buys into the two party thing hook line and sinker.

I bring this up because of an article about swing voters I recently read….this is from a poll taken before the present day mid terms….

Swing voters view the Republican Party more favorably than the Democratic Party heading into the 2026 midterm elections, yet they still favor Democratic congressional candidates by a double-digit margin, according to a new Data for Progress poll.

The findings capture a central paradox of the midterm landscape. While swing voters remain skeptical of both parties, dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress appears to be driving them toward Democratic candidates despite their unfavorable view of the Democratic Party.

Democrats have grown increasingly optimistic about retaking the House as Trump’s approval rating has slipped amid concerns over inflation, the cost of living and the fallout from the U.S.Iran conflict. Historically, the president’s party tends to lose seats in midterm elections, giving Democrats an additional structural advantage.

Even so, the survey suggests voters may be willing to elect Democrats without embracing the party itself.

https://knewz.com/swing-voter-view-republicans-more-favorably-than-democrats/

This early poll may sound good for the Dems but is it good for the nation?

To me this is basically saying….anyone but Trump….and that is not a good way to vote.

There is one bright spot, for now, and that is the rise of Progressives….if only they can keep pressure up there may be some hope for the mid terms after all.

Ten years ago this country and the voters were bitter and of course I had something to say back then….

We Have Seen This Bitterness Before

And in the end the voter will select the wrong people yet again and this nightmare will just keep going.

But that brings up another question….has the US ever had a free and fair elections?

This is an article written on the Level website and a bit of a history lesson….(com’on you knew there had to be some history in there, right?)

I’ve heard the term “free and fair elections” thrown about recently, and I’m not sure they’ve ever been a thing. To determine whether America has ever had free and fair elections, we must establish what those elections are. Americans generally define free and fair elections as those in which every eligible voter can cast a ballot without coercion, and all ballots are counted accurately under rules applied equally to everyone. That’s the baseline.

When concession or certification is contested without evidence, Americans perceive the election as less “fair,” even if the mechanics were sound. The question in the title asks if America has ever had such an election. Will the next major election, the 2026 midterms, be free and fair? President Donald Trump seems to think not and, in a nationally televised speech, has laid the groundwork for contesting the results if they aren’t to his liking.

America has never had free and fair elections. The Supreme Court often acts to limit the voting freedoms Congress attempted to enact. The 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments have all been gutted, rendering them less useful than intended. Racism, even when proven, is permitted unless intent is proven as well. Gerrymandering ignores the will of the people, replacing it with the will of the Party. Politicians are working to make voting harder, rather than easier. The mail-in-vote may go the way of the dinosaur. America could do better, but both major parties still prioritize winning elections over reflecting the will of the people.

https://www.levelman.com/has-america-ever-had-free-and-fair-elections/

Voting should be one of the easiest things to do in American life and yet some want to make it harder than ever….

What say you?

What’s In A Name?

Since the death of poor Lindsey and the rise of his sister to the highest place in the government….at first I thought she might be her own person but that belief was smashed to pieces when she embraced the whole MAGA BS….

In a show of support for President Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham’s sister, Darline, has dropped her married name, “Nordone,” and will instead go by her maiden name.

Graham, who took over the remainder of her brother’s Senate term after his sudden death despite having no prior political experience, quietly made the announcement during an interview with Sean Hannity. The name change was noticed in a lower third on the Fox News show.

“I’ll continue to say I’ve been praying a lot, talking to my family,” said Graham as the graphic below her read “Exclusive interview with Senator Darline Graham.” She added, “But with the love of my family, with the support of his staff, I know I’m a hard worker.
