This past week Donny made an ass of himself at the UN General Assembly with his babbling speech.

We all know that he truly loves seeing his name on everything….and now he has his sights on an other landmark….

President Donald Trump is not relenting in his crusade to stamp his name on as many landmarks as he can, even in the face of catastrophic approval numbers, with MS NOW reporting that his administration has found its next target.

As Trump continues to threaten the Kennedy Center with demolition if his name cannot be added to the famed arts institution, MS NOW revealed on Wednesday morning that his aides are now “circulating a list of government sites that could have Trump’s name affixed to them in some way,” citing sources familiar with the matter. One D.C. landmark on the list has caused a considerable uproar behind the scenes: Ford’s Theatre, the venue where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth in 1865.

“It is unclear how seriously the theater is being considered or how the administration would attach Trump’s name to it,” the report detailed. “One Trump administration official said the idea has been discussed, but they didn’t know where it stood. The prospect sparked a flurry of discussion over the past week among people responsible for the historic site.”

It added: “The discussions underscore how much of a priority honoring the president has become inside parts of the Trump administration — even as the Iran war nears its eighth month, diesel prices hit an all-time high, the midterm elections approach in six weeks and most Americans disapprove of the president’s job performance.”

One anonymous former administration official told MS NOW that staffers are pitching flattering ideas like renaming locations after Trump in order “to get on the president’s good side.” In response, Trump’s mindset is essentially: “Why would I say no? Everybody’s trying to please me.”

“They know flattery gets them everything,” the official said.

Another source explained to MS NOW that the broader list of potential landmarks is being considered based on how much they present an “easier legal path” to renaming than the beleaguered Kennedy Center push. The report noted, however, that the name of Ford’s Theatre, now a landmark of historical significance controlled by the Department of the Interior, was set by a statute signed by President Richard Nixon, meaning that “a formal renaming would almost certainly require an act of Congress,” and that any effort by Trump to impose his name on the location unilaterally would more than likely result in another heated legal battle.

“The president and top administration officials have also reportedly discussed putting his name on Penn Station in New York, Dulles International Airport in Virginia and the new Washington Commanders stadium,” the report added. “Trump has denied pursuing the renaming of Penn Station. Some Republican lawmakers have gone so far as introducing legislation to rename Dulles for Trump. And then-White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in November that it would be ‘beautiful’ for the Commanders’ stadium to bear Trump’s name.”

According to reports from Alternet and other outlets, U.S. Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) cast a decisive vote on House Concurrent Resolution 89 (the War Powers Resolution regarding Iran) that resulted in a 49-49 tie failure, allowing President Donald Trump’s military action to continue.

The U.S. military’s reporting of casualties in the Iran war has drawn criticism for months, with the Pentagon providing little explanation for delayed reports of wounded and shifting casualty counts. Even the number of U.S. troops who have died while deployed to the region, which the Pentagon now says is 19, has been questioned in recent media reports.

Veterans of previous conflicts who once were responsible for updating the public on casualty numbers in those wars say the Pentagon is facing a credibility crisis.

“All anyone’s asking for is just be transparent with the process,” said Joe Plenzler, a retired Marine Corps spokesperson for Gen. James Mattis during the early years of the Iraq War.

The Pentagon’s decision to divide Iran-related casualties into different categories and timeframes without context creates confusion, he said.

A federal judge early Thursday temporarily blocked President Trump’s move to ban three news outlets from the White House grounds and said CNN, MS NOW, and Politico must have their access restored. US District Judge Timothy Kelly, who heard arguments Wednesday and seemed skeptical of the ban, told the White House to “immediately return, reinstate, and restore” the press credentials of reporters from the outlets, the New York Times reports. He issued a temporary restraining order that will be in effect for 14 days. Such orders are typically designed to preserve the status quo pending a closer review of the case by the court, reports the AP.

In an order posted shortly after midnight, Kelly said the media outlets had met the legal thresholds needed to obtain a temporary restraining order, which include likelihoods of succeeding on the merits of the case and of suffering irreparable harm without an order. “This is a high bar, but Plaintiffs have met it,” he wrote. He found that Trump’s order was likely unconstitutional, the Times reports. Kelly, nominated by Trump in 2017, ordered a CNN journalist’s access restored in a similar case in 2018.

During the hearing, Kelly questioned whether the administration had met its legal responsibilities and provided the outlets adequate due process before banning them. The rulings in two prior cases over press access, including one that went to the US Supreme Court, made it clear that journalists were entitled to an opportunity to be heard before they have their press passes revoked.

• Justice Department attorney Michael Velchik argued that the rulings in the earlier cases were wrong. The judge noted that his decision would be guided by prior rulings in comparable First Amendment cases, even if the government disagrees with them. “This Court is bound by DC Circuit precedent, full stop,” he wrote.
• The administration argued that the outlets were banned for national security reasons. Kelly, however, said that the stories the administration singled out as examples were “routine” and that he doubted national security was the real reason for the ban, the Hill reports. “Certainly, that is not what President Trump said when he announced that he was ‘banning’ Plaintiffs from the White House—instead, he focused on the alleged lack of truthfulness and negativity of Plaintiffs’ reporting,” the judge wrote.

Donny has been getting a lot of flack over his ego trip known as the ‘Trump Arch’….now there is a new idea trying to sell the idea….

President Trump has changed direction on the 250-foot triumphal arch he wants to build near Arlington National Cemetery, posting Sunday that it will double as a cutting-edge security hub—complete with drones and rooftop snipers. The new plan is “at the strong request” of the US military, he wrote, for a “top grade” military complex for “National Security purposes,” with drone capacity, sniper positions on the roof and plaza, and significant ammunition storage, the Washington Post reports. “There will be no facility like this anywhere in the World,” Trump’s Truth Social post says.

The recasting echoes Trump’s repackaging of his White House ballroom plans into a national security priority with drones and ballistic missiles after that project also ran into opposition, the Hill points out. Last week, the FAA called for installing a “non-standard eternal flame” atop the arch to alert pilots. The National Park Service added that searchlight projectors would go there along with the flame, the National Park Service said. This is the first time anyone has mentioned making the arch a military installation. Although preservation and veterans groups are trying to stop the arch from being built, the administration wants to start construction as soon as November.

It is so sad that Donny spends more time worrying about his name on things and less time worrying about the problems of this nation….

Now Pistol Pete has gone too far….

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth directed America’s service members and their families to vote in the midterm election, not-so-subtly suggesting Friday that they could make the difference in some districts predicted to vote blue.

He cited a 2024 presidential election analysis as evidence, claiming that 300,000 “warriors” were not registered to vote that year.

That’s more than the ballots cast in cities like Detroit, Boston, Milwaukee, or Seattle,” Hegseth said in a video statement, specifically naming liberal cities.

“As you know, the war department exists to protect our nation and her freedoms. That includes the freedom to decide who leads us, and the right to vote,” Hegseth continued. “Regardless of your home state or current duty status, you can use a standardized federal postcard to register and request a ballot, and if you’re forward deployed and your standard ballot is delayed, you can use the federal write-in absentee ballot. All of these processes are straightforward and protected by law.”

Hegseth also had an explicit message for U.S. commanders, telling them to “get out the vote.”

Here we go again with the impeachment thing….

President Donald Trump has been slapped with 26 new articles of impeachment by a House Democrat, accusing him of abuses of power, violations of his oath of office, and a sweeping range of other alleged misconduct.

Representative Steve Cohen, a Tennessee Democrat and senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, introduced the articles on September 24, just nine days after the House rejected a separate impeachment effort brought by Democratic Representative Al Green of Texas.
