Same Sh*t, Different Election

HAPPY EARTH DAY

Let’s take a break from silly Donny’s Iranian venture and talk about the quickly approaching elections, both midterms and the general in 2028….

There are many reports telling us what is happening with the politics around these elections….but sadly everything being said/ewwritten has all been so before….

First the voters attitudes…..

According to a recent study from the University of Notre Dame, voters who are comfortable living in the middle—neither agreeing nor disagreeing when asked about substantive issues relevant to upholding democracy—might be the largest group to blame for democratic decline in the United States.

These “democratic neutrals” are what the study’s co-authors consider some of the most dangerous voters in the current political environment.

Using three surveys of more than 45,000 voting-age Americans, the researchers found that about half of the U.S. population expresses an attitude of democratic neutrality—or an “unwillingness to support or oppose policies or practices that undermine democracy,” explained Matthew E.K. Hall, lead author of the study recently published in the journal Nature Human Behaviour.

“Neutrality towards democracy, rather than outright opposition, has enabled democratic backsliding among various Western democracies as elected officials leverage citizens’ neutral attitudes to pursue antidemocratic outcomes,” Hall and his two co-authors wrote in their study.

Basically it is a wait and see attitude…..and this type of thinking is what put us in the position we find ourselves today….this whole neutrality thing is total BS.

Because of this laziness we may miss the opportunity for change….

We have a leader who does nothing but expand a war department, make his friends richer and destroy what little democracy we have left.

And when we do change leadership at the top we get very little in return….the rich get richer, the masses suffer and corporations still write the laws….what part of that is change?

This coming election will be NO different without a change in attitudes from the voter……so if you are looking for a saving grace from the destruction of Donny you will be disappointed for all you will get is a new face to twist the knife in you back.

This is a little something extra for all you AI fans…..trhis basically focuses on thge 2028 election, Vance and Rubio…..

A simulation utilizing AI has delved into how the 2028 U.S. presidential election result could look, and it was far more nuanced than a simple prediction.

By feeding political trends, polling dynamics, and candidate positioning into an AI model, the YouTube channel, I Ask AI, has attempted to understand not just who might win, but why.

The simulation suggested a scenario where changing political conditions shift momentum. If Republican performance weakens and Trump’s approval declines, Rubio could emerge as the nominee: “By 2028, Trump’s approval will have dragged Vance down too far to recover. The guy standing next to Trump for four years owns every bad decision, every scandal, every economic complaint.”

Meanwhile, Rubio’s relative distance becomes an advantage: “Rubio has the crucial advantage of distance. He was doing diplomacy while the domestic mess was happening.”

In conclusion….just as the title implies….Same Sh*t, Different Election.

  1. The coming election will result in nothing but more of the same and an emboldenment of the hierarchy to keep on keeping on with their democracy-snuffing idiocy —and general moderate Americans in the middle will continue to look for their next meal, they next person to lay with and a warm place to shit. Nothing to see here … moving on.

    1. Generally speaking I think you’re right. The average American, if there is such a thing, won’t react unless something directly harms their lifestyle. Up until recently most people haven’t been directly harmed by the crazy going on in DC.

But now? Now it’s starting to cost them actual real money and it is having an adverse impact on their lives. Even the GOP base, as isolated from reality as they are, are suffering directly from this crap now. Plus Trump has demonstrated that he is not the “strong man” that they thought he was. He can no longer make or break a political career with just a word. And is Department of Justice has been utterly ineffective in carrying out his campaign of revenge. It’s failed over and over again to prosecute his political enemies, even when taking cases in front of Trump’s own hand picked judges. His hand picked officials have proven themselves to be utterly and totally incompetent. Even his own people are starting to turn on him.

And the elections that have taken place since he took office are what’s really got the GOP spooked. The ‘liberal’ candidate for the state supreme court here won by an absolute landslide. It was an embarrassment, really. And for the first time in something like 10 or 15 years there is a good chance the dems will take control of at least one of the houses of the state legislature. Both the speaker of the house and the president of the senate here in the state are not going to run again and the general consensus is that they’re basically rats deserting a sinking ship.

I stlll have acquaintances in the state legislature, including a few on the GOP side who haven’t gone totally bonkers and the rank and file republicans out there in the real world are sick and tired of all of the “crazy” that’s been going on. They’re sick of listening to these insane people babbling about demonic forces and the lies about stolen elections and all that crap. The only people who are still pushing that line of BS are the talking heads on the TV shows.

And then there are the Catholics. The alliance between the evangelicals and Catholics was always a shaky one. What Trump and his cronies have done is manage to alienate just about all of them Hogsbreath deliberately excluded Catholics from his “prayer” meetings and Dept. of Defense officials said things that directly threatened the church and the pope personally. Then there is JD Vance, the slimey little worm, trying to lecture the pope on theology? And, of course, Trump committing blatant blasphemy by portraying himself as Jesus?

About 25% of US voters are Roman Catholic, and the Trump administration has managed to piss off all of them. Except for a few areas of the country, the GOP majority has always been razor thin. They can’t afford to anger 53 million Catholics.

I know this is getting way to long, but when you add this all together, the next election could be a blood bath for the republicans. Unless they can pull a rabbit out of a hat or something, they’re on track to lose not only the house but there’s a good chance they’ll lose the senate as well.

  2. It does seem that so many, too many people vote their prejudice and not the facts. Woman president? you must be joking. Black president? AGAIN? “i grew up in a Republican family, and by jesus I’m gonna stay with them. They good people.” If an axe murderer ran for office half the population would vote the ticket and not the man. Somewhere along the road people stopped paying attention, stopped thinking, stopped comparing performances-in-office. What happens when JoePete is elected means he is inheriting the good parts and the bad parts of the former President, Senator, whatever.
What is interesting, when there was no TV and no radio, you read the newspapers and you paid attention to who was running, and why, and voted accordingly. Now we’re drowning in information, some good, some bad, and we ignore it ALL. We vote the ticket, not the person.

    1. There is the problem Judy…..it ios never about the country and always about the party and the demigods within it. chuq

  3. In the WEF, Neo Liberal, Globalist world, it is ceasing to make a difference whichever of the mainstream parties wins any election. Whether that is in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, or many other countries. Israel is the real government of the western world, and the power it holds over every western leader (perhaps not Spain though) is making elections irrelevant.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. “And when we do change leadership at the top we get very little in return….the rich get richer, the masses suffer and corporations still write the laws….what part of that is change?”
