Conspiracy theories are a lot of fun to think about and research. You’d be surprised at the strangest ones that exist and are most believed. While most know about the Illuminati, have you heard of the one about the Denver International Airport (DIA)? Or how about that dragonflies aren’t real, but instead spy cameras?
Even if you don’t actually believe in any big conspiracy theories, it’s hard to ignore them when so many people do. According to a YouGov survey, about half of Americans believe that Lee Harvey Oswald didn’t kill JFK alone. Another popular conspiracy theory in the survey was that Obama wasn’t born in the United States (31%).
Interesting, right? Each state, though, and even city/county, believes in one conspiracy theory over the other. For this slideshow, we used data compiled from the DIRECTV provider, USDIRECT, along with Google Search autofill to view what each state searches the most. Although there are thousands of conspiracy theories, a few specific ones come up over and over again.

I must admit even though he was probably the main dude with the gun, Oswald was conveniently murdered in a marvelously timed accident by a man who was a hanger-on around the area, and who conviently died of stomach cancer not much later, in jail. The woman who wrote about this also was murdered, too. Im sorry,but there are too many (you should excuse the expression) dead end coincidences on this one…
That was big down here because of the New Orleans guy and his investigations….I admit there are a bunch of questions around the assassination……chuq
