From The “Can’t Fix Stupid” Files

Today in history….

1920–The U.S. Post Office Department rules that children may not be sent by parcel post.

Last week the Mormons in Utah were ask to pray for rain….and a tropical depression forms off Eastern Mexico in the Gulf…..maybe next time those prayers need to be more precise of where it is needed.

This where I let my readers know just how stupid their elected officials truly are….

Now onto the stupider among us……

Climate change is a huge issue these days and one of the dumbest fence post in the House, good old Louie Gohmert…..and he has an answer to the growing climate problem….

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), who admitted recently that some consider him “the dumbest guy in Congress,” appears intent on proving those people right. On Tuesday, the Republican congressman asked a representative of the U.S. Forest Service, tasked with managing America’s national forests and grasslands, if the agency might consider branching out, so to speak.

“I understand from what’s been testified to, the Forest Service and the [Bureau of Land Management], you want very much to work on the issue of climate change. I was informed by the past director of NASA that they’ve found the moon’s orbit is changing slightly and so is the Earth’s orbit around the sun. We know there’s been significant solar flare activity, and so — is there anything that the National Forest Service or BLM can do to change the course of the moon’s orbit, or the Earth’s orbit around the sun?” Gohmert inquired. “Obviously that would have profound effects on our climate.”

‘The Dumbest Guy in Congress’ Asks U.S. Forest Service If It Can Change Moon’s Orbit

Not to worry Gohmert is not alone in the boneheadedness….there is the biggest idiot in the House, Taylor-Greene…..as you would expect she has NO idea about science…..

Conspiracy theory-endorsing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) probably shocked no one with her latest anti-evolution declaration about science.

“I don’t believe in evolution,” the QAnon adherent told former Trump White House strategist Steve Bannon on his “Real America’s Voice” podcast this week.

“I don’t believe in that type of so-called science. I don’t believe in evolution. I believe in God,” Greene continued, gesturing with air quotes during a discussion about the potential origin of the coronavirus. An estimated 40% of Americans believe God created humans as described in the Bible, according to a 2019 poll.

Then there is 29% of the American people that fit into ‘can’t fix stupid’ category…..they believe that Trump will be ‘reinstated’….

Almost one-in-three Republican voters say it’s at least somewhat likely former President Donald Trump will be “reinstated” in 2021, according to a new Morning Consult poll, though there’s no feasible way for this to occur. This included 17% of GOP voters who said it’s “very likely” Trump will be reinstated.

Meanwhile, most GOP voters (61%) and the vast majority of Americans overall (72%) — including 84% of Democrats — say it’s unlikely Trump will be restored to the presidency this year.

To these people I ask….just where in the Constitution is there a provision for this re-reinstatement?

Is it just me or do these morons get more stupid by the week?
