Bullets For Libya

Libya……there is more to the situation than the GOP would have us believe….there is more than the deaths in Benghazi….but then there is little political revenue out of what is truly happening…..

Libya has faded from the news…..there has been some much more important news to cover….like the Oscars…or Madonna falling and breaking a hip (not really…but she is getting old)……or a train wreck that effects less than 1% of the population…..oh so much more……worthless mind numbing fecal matter…..

But while you were being lulled into stupidity by the media….death and destruction continues in North Africa….you remember Libya that country that we had to intervene because of a growing humanitarian crisis, right?

Four years on……since NATO intervene and got Qaddafi murdered….. and so far it is a carbon copy of the Middle East once the US steps in and brings them “freedom”……..so….,what has been accomplished by the removal of the despot?

Civil war…..more civilian deaths…..possible a genocide of black Libyans…..all made possible by the stupidity of American foreign policy…….we sent them a Libyan general that has been on the payroll of CIA for almost 30 years….Haftar is his name…….and now his is positioning himself to become the new tyrant of Libya……

The president of Libya’s elected parliament has proposed the appointment of General Khalifa Haftar, who leads his own troops, as commander of the army loyal to the government based in the east of the country, the parliament spokesman said on Wednesday.

The decision shows the increasing influence of military figures in the official government and parliament, which has been forced to operate from eastern Libya since an armed group called Libya Dawn seized the capital Tripoli in summer.

Keep in mind that is how Qaddafi got his start…in the military and he lead a coup that ousted the king at the time, Idris..

This could be good in only one aspect…..he could bring about a ceasefire among militias…..but then…..at what price?

While I agree that the US has been neglecting the situation in Libya…..a situation that they help create for far too long…..and now people like McCain is once again calling for intervention….but for now he wants to arm the ‘moderates’…………….I do not understand his obsession with moderates but what the Hell…he is calling for more arms in a country flooded with arms…….especially now that a jihad element is showing it head…..ISIS….that is right I said ISIS is supposedly starting to show in Libya.

A few ‘experts’ think that if a possible unity government can be formed that the rise of jihad groups will slow….and that is where Haftar bows in……if CIA can control him then we have a ‘friend’ in the fight…..as it is right now…..there are few friends of the US……

It seems that many are pissed about what the US has created in Libya….since Qaddafi’s death the country has become a stretch of land that has refugees living on handouts, cities like Benghazi are basically ghost towns, no one knows which militia is fighting which militia……and all the while the rest of the world is worried about the oil reserves……I think I can understand why some would be pissed.

The next question to ask is……..Will the US be able to pursue and confront ISIS beyond the borders of Iraq/Syria?  Americans may be willing to go beyond those borders but is it capable of such an over extension?

The Military-Industrial Complex (M-IC) would be thrilled with the necessity to re-arm more frequently than today…..but will the American people allow a war that is truly without end?

Please believe me when I say…..a war without end is exactly what we Americans are looking at and we will allow it to continue as long as the government controls our information on said war.  Apathy will be our downfall and the MSM feeds that apathy.

And that brings us back to Libya…….will the extension of our war on ISIS begin in Libya?

A question that will need to be asked and then answered.

We exacted our revenge on Qaddafi for Berlin and Lockerbie………after that we care not.  And then we will once again fret over a hatred for our foreign policy…..our enemies are of our own making.

So This Is Christianity?

I have several readers that describe themselves as Christian……I do not doubt their commitment to a religious belief…….But I cannot understand why they feel necessary to define themselves by their religion……before someone makes an ass out of themselves by assuming that I am an atheist…..let me put your mind at ease….NO, I am not an atheist., but I might consider it if this person is an example of a Christian………

During the political season Christians come out of the woodwork to make accusations and pass on misinformation….let’s be honest….they are lying.  I find it not so funny when Christians disregard the 10 commandments at their convenience…..like the one about bearing false witness……that means LYING and some Christians do it religiously (no pun intended)…….basically, they are saying that they live by the 10 commandments from God, but only ones that they like….right?

What got me on this tear about Christians was something a good old boy from Louisiana had to say……that a/hole from Duck Dynasty, Phil Robertson……..

“I’ll make a bet with you,” Robertson told the religious gathering. “Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him.”

“Then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot them, and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off in front of him,” Robertson continued, “and then they can look at him and say, ‘Isn’t it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn’t it great that there’s nothing wrong with this? There’s no right or wrong, now, is it dude?’”

He then imagined the assailants cutting off the atheist’s penis.

“Then you take a sharp knife and take his manhood and hold it in front of him and say, ‘Wouldn’t it be something if [there] was something wrong with this?’” Robertson said. “’But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.’”

He said all this at a “Prayer Breakfast” in Vero Beach…….now what kind of sick son of a bitch, especially a Christian would think like this?

If this type of thinking is Christian then count me out!

How many Christians will call this douche bag out for these statements?  It is people like this twat that give real Christians the bad names…….NO one on the Right will step up and show some balls and condemn everything this man does and stands for…..he is NO Christian……he is a thug that thinks his shit don’t stink because he is famous and uses Christianity as a cover for his hatred!

Will A&E allow this worthless lump to remain on air?

I can understand why some get turned off by religion…..I mean how can shooting girls in the face or throwing acid on them or stoning someone for a lie…..or reading some historical account that says God wants a people erased from the earth…..and then it is a demented slob like this a/hole and his hatred….all speak to religion…….sad what man has done in the name of God……he/she is ashamed of the humanity created……….I have NO use for these types and their fake religious convictions.

Come on Professor…..don’t hold back….what do you really think of these people?

The Resurrection Of The “Domino Theory”

In case you are weary of fretting over Jolie’s ovaries…….I offer some REAL news and thoughts……..

At present we are fighting a shadowy group called ISIS……the news is all about that conflict but a short plane ride away there is a major conflict that could become much larger….I am speaking about Ukraine.

If you happen to an old fart like me then you can remember the Cold War and the theory of Domino……..it was pushed hard by the West as a counter to communism.  I case you have not made it to that page in your world history text….I can help……..The domino theory, which governed much of U.S. foreign policy beginning in the early 1950s, held that a communist victory in one nation would quickly lead to a chain reaction of communist takeovers in neighboring states. In Southeast Asia, the United States government used the domino theory to justify its support of a non-communist regime in South Vietnam against the communist government of North Vietnam, and ultimately its increasing involvement in the long-running Vietnam War (1954-75).

The problem was that the theory was used to support the M-IC and turned out to be flawed in so many way……the dominoes did not fall as predicted.

Ukraine is being used as the “example” of the reach of Russia and the fear is that if they are successful then other former satellite states will be vulnerable……Newsweek dedicated a feature on this……

Personally, it is wishful thinking that Russia can pull this off…..it seems, at least to me, that it is a tactic being used by the M-IC to sell more ordinance to the surrounding states….keep in mind that WAR is big business.

Yalta?  What the Hell is that, Professor?

I know I kinda get carried away when it comes to finding historical events that can relate to today’s world situation…..but there is always an upside for comparisons.

Yalta was the meeting at the end of World War 2 when Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill met to divide up the spoils of war…….and today;s Ukraine situation has a familiar smell about it.

This is a story that more religious people will not pay any attention to because it does not it the paradigm that they have formulating concerning Islamic extremists……for you see Christians would not do the things that these Muslims would do…..

Take the Taliban in Afghanistan…….strict adherence to religious law…..but that could never happen with us good Christians, right?

Make Way For The Morality Police

We all have seen the reports out of the Middle East about the “morality police”…..those little pricks that prance around deciding if what you do is moral or not…..

They are scoffed, laughed at and totally looked down upon…..but there is not a issue solely in the Middle East that is mocked more….the very thought of a “Morality Police”…….an absurd reality, right?

If some of the religious d/bags have their way then we could see a “morality police” in this country……think not?

Consequences Are A Bitch!

By now the national outrage is at fever pitch…..ISIS has released the names and addresses of military members and called on supporters to do something to them for their part in the war against ISIS….As they say (whoever ‘they’ happen to be) that “actions have their consequences”…….

Their attempt to control the information on the wars being fought….information that would be positive………they inadvertently gave information to the enemy….information that can be used to harm……..

In its rush to gain public support for the war in Iraq and Afghanistan the government turned our serving veterans into propaganda tools to make their case for support…..and thanx to their thoughtlessness they have put members of the military at risk…..

A group calling itself the “Islamic State Hacking Division” posted the names, addresses, and photos of 100 U.S. service members on Saturday, claiming it had obtained the information by breaching military security.As it turns out, the group didn’t need to hack the Pentagon. At least two-thirds of the troops on the ISIS “hit list” had been featured on public Defense Department websites designed to promote the military, The Daily Beast has learned.Many service members were quoted or photographed in promotional stories talking about their work, often in the Middle East. Others were featured in news videos or in holiday messages to their families. Some were photographed after they returned home from long missions. Others were spokespeople or official photographers for the U.S. military.
Thank God these people were not in control during World War 2 or we would have readily gave info and comfort to the enemy……Is it just me or does anyone else see the culpability of the government in this situation?  This is a prime example of how NOT to use propaganda.  The really big news is that all the people on the list have been notified and told to take precautions when using social media….and that the government will NOT offer any protection for named families.

Set Your “Cruz” Control

(Sound of corks popping…..idle chatter…….applause…….)

It is official!  The 2016 campaign season has begun!  (Please put your brain in neutral and sit back).

Ted Cruz has announced his candidacy for the GOP nomination before a captive audience (attendance mandatory or be fined) at Liberty University.  During his drawn out speech we got our first political slogan of the 2016 election season……”Reignite the promise of America”…….it will be the perfect slogan….why?  There is no consensus on what the term means….leave it to the imagination of the weak minded and easily manipulated.

“I believe God isn’t done with America yet,” Mr. Cruz said during a speech at Liberty University, sending a strong signal that he plans to compete for the evangelical Christians that traditionally play a big role in the GOP nomination race.

“I believe in you. I believe in the power of millions of courageous conservatives rising up to reignite the promise in America,” he said. “And that is why today I am announcing that I am running for president of the United States.”

His little speech did one thing…..made me yawn……he went on and on and we now know what he is against…..marriage equality, immigration reform, Obamacare, the IRS, Communist and finally…..LOGIC!

All that is just peachy….we know what he is against……but what is he for?  What are his alternatives to all those things?  All I heard was his support for a flat tax……then NOTHING!

Cruz is the first to announce for one reason…..he can control the media for the next couple of weeks….plus he will be the center of attention…..the spotlight is his desire and now he has it….at least for awhile…..

Keep in mind…..”Reignite The Promise Of America”………maybe he will define this soon…..but do not hold your breath…….it is what it is….a slogan……

So my friends, hold on to your genitals you are about to be beat over the head with Cruz stories for the next couple of weeks….and after all that there is one thing for certain……

He will NOT be your GOP nominee!

There is one thing to be sure of……Cruz is about himself….never about the country…….he may lose but he will NOT go away……and that is the pathetic part.
