There has been a rise in fascism in Europe….usually around immigrants or religion……parties are starting to show up again and not surprisingly are gaining more and more popularity with every election….even within the EU……
Some have asked….why now….and why fascism?
For those that are ignorant about history let me help out….remember Nazi Germany? Yes, Hitler arrived through the democratic process….but why? It seems that Germany’s situation was that there was a dysfunctional legislature that could get nothing done as far as governance…..many elections ensued and Hitler came to power……
Something to keep in mind……..
Fascism is almost a de facto result of hard economic times that finds people desperate for promises that can never be kept and that always has a scape goat
