Yes Irene they are still talking and are still showing their ignorance with every syllable they utter…..

1–We all know that a major point of contention right now is the Marriage equality thingy…there are as many opinions as there are blogs to read……some are valid opinions and some are just pure theater…..and guess who is in that latter group?  Sen. Ted Cruz…..

Sen. Ted Cruz spoke with anti-gay talk show host Janet Mefferd yesterday in his continued effort to drum up support for his State Marriage Defense Act, which would undermine the rights of legally married same-sex couples. The Texas Republican told Mefferd that gay rights advocates hope to “subvert our democratic system” since they can’t “win an argument with the American people.”

“They just want to use brute power to force the states to take down marriage laws that have been in place for centuries and that’s inconsistent with the Constitution, it’s not right and it’s heartbreaking,” Cruz added.

Cruz added that gay rights advocates go up against “the facts” and urged listeners to pray against marriage equality: “I think the most important thing your listeners can do is simply pray because we need a great deal of prayer because marriage is really being undermined by a concerted effort and it’s causing significant harm.”

I understand people that oppose gay marriage….what I cannot understand is all the babble about the constitution…….where is it in the document?  Marriage is a contract between the couple and the state….period.

2–And then there is the usual crap from ding dongs like Tom Tancredo…….

Former Colorado congressman and Republicans gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo says he has found a “winning issue” for the GOP in the 2014 midterm elections: impeaching President Obama.

Writing in the far-right outlet WorldNetDaily, Tancredo claims that President Obama is “addicted to dictatorial behavior” and should face impeachment over his handling of Obamacare, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals executive order and Egypt’s political crisis, along with the phony IRS and Benghazi scandals.

Tancredo also likens the U.S under Obama to Nazi Germany: “How often do we hear from the left that Americans must not be ‘good Germans’ and remain silent in the face of oppressive laws? What about obedience to dictatorial edicts?”

Do these people know history?  Are these the people educated by the morons that want to re-write the history books?  Look it up….Propaganda 2.0……

3–We just cannot move beyond blind stupidity to find a way to make this a better country……some people just cannot shut the Hell up……

The United Nations released a report this month that is heavily critical of the Roman Catholic Church’s handling of sex abuse cases. Church spokesmen were outraged by the scope of the study. “The range of the report appeared to infuriate the Vatican,” the Washington Post reported. “In blunt language, the committee took particular aim at church stances on sexual orientation, reproductive health and gender equality.”

Austin Ruse of the Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute (C-FAM) blamed Satan for the investigation. “Only the Devil could tell children they have a right to sex and abortion,” Ruse said in a message to C-FAM members.

“This committee has basically said that children have a right under this treaty to have sex, to use condoms and to get abortions. And that Church opposition to this is a violation of human rights,” Ruse said. “This Committee actually told the Church that its teaching on homosexuality has caused violence against the same-sex attracted.”

“What these radicals need a good shaking.”

4–Does anyone else see the lunacy behind these statements?

Phyllis Schlafly has been making the rounds on right-wing media to push her claim that Latino immigrants don’t share American values because they are less likely to vote Republican and back a right-wing political agenda. InfoWars host Alex Jones strongly agreed with Schlafly, and warned that immigrants will team up with George Soros to “support literally making those of us that produce their slaves.”

“This takes us back to a democracy where two wolves can vote to eat the sheep for dinner,” Jones said.

5–I wish I could say something clever with this one….but all I can think of is….STUPIDITY!

Mitch McConnell’s GOP primary challenger Matt Bevin is doing the best he can to link the incumbent senator to a recent federal court ruling that struck down part of Kentucky’s ban on same-sex marriage. The Tea Party-backed candidate told a Religious Right talk show host this week that if same-sex marriage becomes legal, soon parents will be able to marry their children.

6–And then there is every present……ANTI-CHRIST thingy………..when will they give this shit a rest?

Southern Baptist preacher Dwight McKissic is joiningotheranti-gay activists in criticizing Michael Sam, the University of Missouri defensive end who recently came out of the closet.

McKissic is especially concerned that the likely NFL draft pick will “become the face of the ‘gay rights’ movement that takes us down the road to Sodom and Gomorrah at a record setting pace.” America’s transformation into Sodom, McKissic warns, will bring about the coming of the Antichrist, who he thinks will probably be gay.

7–I believe there is a commandment somewhere about NOT bearing false witness……I could be mistaken…….and here we have the false witness which by the way means….a LIE!

In an interview on Line of Fire Radio, Alliance Defending Freedom counsel Joseph La Rue defended the Arizona gay segregation that bill the ADF helped craft.

La Rue insisted that religious people will be “treated as second class citizens by their government” if the legislation — passed by both houses of the Arizona legislature — isn’t signed into law, and preposterously claimed that the bill “is not about denying service.”

God I love these people….

8–I am so sorry…but we do NOT need people like this twat in the US Senate…there is enough problems there why add to the dysfunction?

A recreational boat salesman running as a Republican Senate candidate in Texas has spent the past few days defending his insistence on referring to Hispanics as “wetbacks” and calling for deadly force against some undocumented immigrants.

During an editorial board meeting with the Dallas Morning News last Friday, Tea Party candidate Chris Mapp allegedly said that “ranchers should be allowed to shoot on sight anyone illegally crossing the border on to their land and referred to such people as ‘wetbacks.’” In defending the statement to the San Antonio Express-News on the same day, Mapp explained that using the derogatory term “wetback” is as “normal as breathing air in South Texas.”

There is enough STUPID in DC why add to the total?

The Dictator-In-Chief

YAWN!  It is sad that a post such as this one NEEDS to be written………but then a lot about politics is just plain SAD!

We have endured many many years of total busllsh*t…..especially when we hear all about Obama being a dictator…..this type of rhetoric has NO place in the political dialog….only a complete idiot would say something as moronic as Obama is a dictator…….let me be clear….I am NOT an Obama cheerleader by any stretch of the imagination and making such lies is breaking one of those commandments that some are so proud of in their lives…….

First, do any of you that are calming that Obama is some sort of imperial president or a dictator even have the smallest idea of what a dictator means?  I thought not….let me assist you wouldn’t want you to blow out a head gasket trying to think……it is not that hard and in easy simple terms….the characteristics of a dictator are……….

– one-party rule
– executions without trial or with a mock trial, for political offenses
– the nationalization or expropriation of private property
– censorship
– Many dictators have held the formal title of “President”, but wield extraordinary powers.
– Some dictators gain or continue to hold a military post.
– The use of national and religious traditions

Does that clear up any confusion of what a dictator is….or do we need more info?  Okay let’s expand this info a bit……..just to make sure there is NO confusion……..

1. One Party, One Leader and One Programme:

In dictatorship only one party is allowed to exist and it is the dictator’s own party. Other political parties, associations and organizations are not allowed to func­tion. These are banned. All opposition to the dictator is ruthlessly suppressed. Hitler used to say, “Swastika or gallows”.

One Leader:

Under dictatorship, leadership is given to a single man. Full faith is to be concentrated in the leader. The leader is supposed to represent national unity. He is considered to be a symbol of national prestige. He is the final authority in every matter and his word is supreme.

One Programme:

The whole country is supposed to have one political programme and it is the programme of dictator’s own party.

2. Absence of Individual Liberty:

The individual does not enjoy any liberty or rights under dictatorship. Maximum obedience to the laws is equated to the maximum liberty. People are not allowed any liberty of speech, association and press. All agencies of education and propaganda such as schools, colleges, radio, papers and films are controlled by the state. In the words of Mussolini “people do not want liberty but they want law and order.

” No criticism against the dictator is tolerated. People are supposed to believe and obey. Democratic slogans of liberty, equality and fraternity are replaced by slogans like duty, discipline and sacrifice. Mussolini asserted, “Liberty is a dead carcass, I kick it.”

3. National Glorification:

Dictators glorify their nations to an illogical extreme. A mad sense ol patriotism is inculcated in the minds of the people. They are made intensely nationalistic.

The state is regarded as the march of God on earth. The state is considered to be the end and the individual a means to that end. People are supposed to sacrifice their lives on the alter of state.

4. Glorification of War:

Dictators glorify war. War is considered to be essential for the normal health of body-politic. The state is all powerful and it must enhance its prestige. The dictators adopt a war-like policy and glorify brute force as the means for achieving national greatness. In the opinion of Hitler, “In eternal warfare, mankind has become great; in eternal peace it will be ruined.”

To quote Mussolini, “War is to the man what maternity is to the woman.”

5. Totalitarian State:

Dictatorship is a totalitarian state which controls each and every aspect of human personality, and takes into its fold all human activities in the social, economic, political, educational, religious and cultural spheres.

No margin for individual liberty is left behind. “Nothing against the state, everything for the state, nothing outside the state” is the basic principle of dictatorship.

I guess with a stretch of the imagination we could say that a few of the characteristics can be applied to the Obama administration…….and on the same hand one could make up stuff to prove the point….personally, I am not the biggest fan of Obama but to call him a dictator is beyond the pale……and there are many things that can be said in criticism…..but making up crap is just plain disgusting.

“Told Ya So!”

Before I begin……we hear from our brethren on the Right that Obama’s is an imperial presidency, in other words he is a dictator…..and since the Ukraine thing we are hearing from those same people that Obama is a wimp, a Momma’s boy with NO guts…….Okay you guys make up our minds for us please.  I guess consistency means nothing, right?  Yet when the prez is inconsistent he is a bad prez…..if you want me to take anything you say seriously….then maybe you should start with one simple rule…..CONSISTENCY!

Since Russia has sent troops and ships to Ukraine we have a wealth of post incident back slapping…especially from the Right….they are pointing to Obama and his weak foreign policy (something I will stipulate) from past losers in elections as they were somehow privy to world affairs…….to this I say NOT A CHANCE!

Before I continue……to my GOP friends….want you remember this?

Sarah Palin is happily sticking it back to critics who mocked her comments about Russia back in the 2008 campaign, reports CNN. The reason is this quote from a speech of hers in Reno:

  • “After the Russian army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama’s reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence—the kind of response that would only encourage Russia’s Putin to invade Ukraine next.”

Given what’s happening on the ground, Palin took to Facebook to gloat a little. “Yes, I could see this one from Alaska,” she writes, recalling the Tina Fey “I can see Russia from my house!” spoof. Her post continues: “I’m usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did.” As Breitbart.com notes, Foreign Policy magazine called Palin’s comments “strange” at the time and dismissed the idea as “an extremely far-fetched scenario.”

Come on….there are couple of the ‘new’ foreign policy’ experts that until last week probably could not find Ukraine on a map without the help of their Google finger.

Look I predicted Chavez would die in office a year before he actually croaked and I am NOT an expert or a flipping foreign policy genius….but a couple of past voices did just what I did…..lucky guesses….you put out enough crap and something will come true…..you can say whatever you like about Obama’s foreign policy….but please do not make these self-promoting twats out as some sort of all seeing seer……….

That is my only statement on anything dealing with these ego-centric toads……we can talk about the lack of guts in foreign policy and anything else but for God’s sake leave these people out of it.
