Today is the latest primary contests…Michigan and Arizona….two things are or certain….one, fundamental extremism is alive and well and second, the GOP faithful are torn between two lovers……

Poor Mitt just cannot catch a break……..when he speaks off script he just keeps reminding people that he has NO idea what a working person has to deal with daily…..and yet….he continues to stomp on his own tongue……

People keep saying that good old Mitt is just NOT capable of understanding the mere mortals that he is trying to con into voting for him in these primaries….he has made some pretty good gaffs that could reinforce this belief…..his $10,000 bet or he likes firing people or he does not care about poor people or that his wife drives a “couple of Cadillacs”, one in Mass the other in calif and then there is he does not know much about NASCAR but he has some great friends among the owners all of whom are millionaires several times over……

He just keeps talking and just keeps reminding us that he has no way of associating with us peasants……for instance, recently at a speech he seemed to think that $19,000 a year is middle class…….this from politicususa.com……..

Mitt Romney was lecturing Americans on how he can fix this economy and why we should elect him because he knows how to save us all, when he pointed to Staples and The Sports Authority as examples of places where he is going to create jobs for us, while wearing his super hyped face and declaring the US can be “the best place in the world to be middle class again.”

I guess no one told Mr. Romney that jobs in retail are not typically creating middle class families. Does Mitt know what a retail job makes? Maybe if he figured this out, and then tried to pay a mortgage, car insurance and loan, doctors bills, etc. he might get a glimpse as to why Americans really do not want to hear about his four cars and his wife’s two Cadillacs right now. And they really don’t want to be told that their anger over his not getting it is jealousy over his “success”

According to Businsessweek, Retail jobs at Staples and Sports Authority (where they pay on average less than 3 dollars an hour from the national average- good pickings Mitt) make an average of less than $9 an hour (with cashiers making less). This means that someone working a 40 hour week (if they were so lucky which many are not because stores like Wal-Mart keep hours below a certain level in order to block workers from qualifying for certain benefits) is making $19,090, which is below the poverty line for a family of three.

Stuff like this could explain why Santorum is sneaking up on Mitt……..where Rick can talk honestly about being in a coal mining family and the tests they had to face when he was growing up, Mitt cannot…….he was born with that silver spoon and has NEVER lost it at any time in his life.

Will be interesting to see if his handlers (Mitt that is) will put a muzzle on him if he wins Michigan by a close vote or if he loses…..whatever happens he has to find a way to get in touch with the country and feel their pain….so far he has been a massive tool!
