Could It Be MoJo For Prez?

I will admit that I watch MSNBC…especially at 5 am (CST)…I enjoy the Morning Joe Show…mainly because he gives ALL sides of the political issue a shot at explanation and questions.  I may not agree or even like some of his stances…but I see a man that has a level head and not afraid to say what is what…even when it gets him in trouble with conservs and libs alike…..

Newser has an article today:

Joe Scarborough insists he’s not running for president. He says he’s perfectly happy as MSNBC’s morning host, where, he argues, he has more influence than your average senator. But there’s a “studio apartment industry of conservatives” who think Scarborough is the man Republicans will need in 2016, writes Marc Ambinder of the Atlantic. The rumblings started when Christopher Buckley, after reading the host’s new book, declared that “Joe Scarborough can save the GOP.” Now Ambinder’s throwing more wood on the fire.Assuming Barack Obama wins re-election, the younger conservatives of 2015 will be hungry for a candidate who can win, he predicts. Culture warriors and neocons will be out of vogue. So who better than Morning Joe, a smooth broadcaster, a self-proclaimed libertarian-leaning conservative, and a “legitimate hero of the ’94 Republican Revolution”? Plus, the Florida-native has suddenly become a Red Sox fan—which “conveniently endears him to New Hampshire.”

The GOP could do a lot worse and probably will…..but I think that Scarborough would make a perfect conserv candidate and quite possibly the perfect conserv president….

    1. While I may not agree with everything he says….I do think that a better candidate cannot be found for the GOP….and thanx for stopping by….

  1. Can you list the principles and beliefs of Joe that qualify him as a conservative? (And I am implying nothing by this question, I just want to see why he would make a good conservative candidate.)

    1. You could ask that question of absolutely everyone of the so called conservatives….but for me he is a fiscal conservative….he wants less spending and less military expansionism….but he would be a typical politician…talks well acts different. For me, he is a level headed person…I think he would think out all situations and act accordingly…..he would what he thought best for the country and the economy….based on facts……

I said I thought he would make the perfect candidate and I am sure that he is un liked by many…..I would probably vote for him….
