Just the other day the Salahis,,,you do remember them right?  If not they are the ones that crashed the White House State Dinner….recall now?  They were cvalled before thew House to answer questions on their escapade and the Seattle PI is reporting on the show:

White House party crashers Tareq and Michaela Salahi appeared before Congress Wednesday, invoking their Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination and refusing to testify.

The Salahis would not answer questions in front of the House Homeland Security Committee about how they made it past the Secret Service and into a Nov. 24 White House state dinner uninvited.

“On advice of counsel, I respectfully invoke my right to remain silent and decline to answer your question,” both Tareq and Michaela Salahi answered in-sync numerous times during the hearing, according to The New York Times.  (31 to be more accurate)

The Salahis received an earful from lawmakers present at the hearing. Rep. Daniel Lungren even brought up their connection to Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. Michaela was under consideration for the Washington, D.C., installment at the time and was filmed getting ready for the event.

It was a joke, the whole hearing thing was a joke……to say that the congress people were angry would be an understatement…..but then I think back to last week when the bankers that help crash the economy were on the Hill to answer questions…..it was all sunshine and snowflakes when the congresspeople addressed them…they were thanked for their time, they were thanked for their expertise in this matter, they were thanked and appreciated until it became nauseating……

Let me get this right…..a couple of reality show wannabes crash a dinner and it is all hell to pay…but the a/holes that crash the economy and it is puppies and kittens….where is the logic there?

We are talking about some insignificant dipsticks as compared to a criminal act committed by those that were trusted to guide the economy down a road of prosperity….why were the Salahis treated more harshly than the gamblers on Wall street that have stolen the taxpayers money?

You tell me…who is the criminal here?  Personally, I do not care one shake in Hell who the Salahis are…..but I do want these a/holes on Wall Street to show some remorse for what they have done to the American economy and so far they have been smug, condescending, arrogant and remorseful…and to beat it all…they asre allowed to do the same things they were doing when they collapsed the economy….

The bankers are criminals and politicians are their accomplices….both need to be haul into to court and jailed for their actions….but instead they are called up have their genitalia massaged and allowed to go about the same thief that they have always been allowed to do….and we will for their loses and they keep the profits…..now there is a deal that was made in corporate heaven…..
