With a 24 hour news cycle news comes at me from all sides and the decision what I want to post is really irritating. Since I am an old fart…I kinda like the slow news cycle from days gone by. Anyway, enuff bitchin’. These are notes that I make as the news flows from the “idiot box” some make it to posts some do not. I post them under a generic heading to see if my readers think I should have posted differently.

1–I am thinking about renaming this section, “Views From A Port-A-Let”. And we all know what that smells like, huh? thoughts?

2–Obama voted against a 30% cap on interest on credit cards.

3–McCain sez that politics should not be injected into the economic crisis and then sets about injecting politics.

4–The new bailout plan has tax cuts to generate incentives for the creation of jobs–but no one has asked where are all those jobs that were promised with the tax cuts 7 yrs ago?

5–Is it just me or is Congress and the Prez over selling this bailout to the average person….almost to the point of soundiing like they are trying to blame us for this disaster.

6–OMG! It is scary to find myself on the same side of an issue with conservative Repubs–almost need a shower sorta thing.

7–In the VP debate, everytime Palin was asked a question–I swear I heard someone yell–DUCK!
