Sexual Revolution

I have been visiting rt.com for several months now….they have some interesting stuff once you get past the propaganda…..And I have another sexual post but with a bit of history for you to learn….

I am an old fart so I was there for the sexual revolution…..and boy was it something (he states with a wide smile)…..rt.com asks an interesting question…..”at what cost?”…….

This year marks half a century since the May 1968 events in Paris (and elsewhere) which launched a youth-driven liberal movement that changed the world.

Thus, now is a good time to reflect upon the similarities and differences between the sexual liberation and feminism of the 1960’s and the protest campaigns that flourish today, from LGBT+ to #MeToo.

In the aftermath of ‘68, the French “progressive” press published a whole series of petitions demanding the decriminalization of paedophilia, claiming that in this way the artificial and oppressive culturally-constricted frontier that separated children from adults could be abolished and the right to freely use one’s body be extended also to children. They claimed that only dark forces of “reaction” and “oppression” could oppose this measure and among the signatories were iconic cultural figures such as Sartre, de Beauvoir, Derrida, Barthes, Foucault, Aragon, Guattari, Deleuze and Lyotard.

How To Cure Jolly Floggin’

Yep, the weekend and time for some silly stuff…….what is life without a little humor?

First, something I thought about while researching the other day…….For the life of me I cannot see the point of a circle!  Think about it.

Now…………… Sriracha?  I am sick of this crap!  Just as I was sick of the crap it replaced….Buffalo Sauce……you want hot then man up and eat Harissa……that should have you begging for ice cream…..

Now to the grits and the gravy of day’s post……..it is a bit personal….I do not usually do personal….but what the hell we are all friends, right?……

I recall when I discovered what to do with the horribly big erection in the morning…….all I had to do was get a hold of myself and……Flog my Jolly!

Then it became almost mandatory to do so……surely there was a cure for that compulsion……VIOLA!  There was and you will not believe what it was…….

Kellogg’s Corn Flakes sure are tasty, crunchy, and a great cure for masturbation. Sorry, the last bit’s not true—but it’s partly why John Harvey Kellogg and his brother invented the cereal back in 1878, Real Clear Science reports. An outspoken surgeon, writer, and medical chief at Battle Creek Sanitarium in Michigan, Kellogg abstained from sex and warned against the alleged dangers of masturbation. Such dangers included insanity, impotence, epilepsy, acne, poor posture, and blindness, in Kellogg’s view. Among his tips: Avoid all “exciting and irritating food,” wrote the Seventh Day Adventist. “A man that lives on pork, fine-flour bread, rich pies and cakes, and condiments, drinks tea and coffee and uses tobacco, might as well try to fly as to be chaste in thought.”

He also invented a few grain breakfast cereals “as healthy, ready-to-eat anti-masturbatory morning meals,” reports Mental Floss. Brother Will, who managed the sanitarium’s books, helped him invent corn flakes but wanted sugar on them to help them sell—an addition John refused to accept. Meanwhile, John suggested more severe anti-masturbatory practices, like running a wire through boys’ foreskins to curb erections and burning the clitoris with carbolic acid to keep girls’ fingers away. Today we know the health benefits of self-love, like reduced depression, lowered prostate-cancer risk, and a better immune system, the Conversation notes.

There you have it…..the next time you get the urge to flog your jolly just pour yourself a bowl of corn flakes and relax……..the urge will dissipate……

AHHHHHH………….I feel better already!

Mommy, Where Did My ‘Winkie” Come From?

It is Sunday and I most admit it has been a long week…..but I did take the time to check out some scientific research papers.

I found one that was just interesting to the point that I had to share it with my readers…….

Kids are always looking for answers to their world around them….and their fascination with different things is just amazing……so when I read this study I knew I had to post it…..

Most guys probably don’t sit around the locker room pondering the finer points of how the male penis evolved, so leave this one to Harvard researchers: The mystery is solved thanks to … lizard limbs. Yup, Harvard scientists investigating the origin of external genitalia have found a link relating to the development of limbs in a variety of animals. Scientists initially hoped to discover why snakes didn’t grow limbs, the Boston Globe reports. But they instead found that embryonic cells—which produce hind limbs in lizards, limb buds in snakes, and “tail-bud” tissue in mammals—form genitalia with a signal from something called a cloaca. As Discovery reports, cloaca is “tissue that eventually develops into the urinary and gut tracts.” When they transplanted a cloaca onto hind limb cells in a chicken embryo, eureka—genital-like buds formed.

“It demonstrates that there is a flexibility with what kind of cells can get recruited during development to form genitalia,” the lead author tells the BBC of his research in Nature. He says the link may help explain why “babies that are born with malformations in their limbs often also have malformations in their genitalia.” While snakes and lizards have two penises, “it appears that the way all amniotes, including reptiles, birds, and mammals, build their genitalia is very similar,” a researcher says. The Globe adds that external genitalia developed when animals moved from sea to land, rendering water-borne fertilization obsolete. (Another study finds sex is 385 million years old.)

Comments are welcome…..whatcha think?

So You Wanna Get Laid?

It is Sunday and a day I try to lighten up the posts a bit and now is a good time…..

The news on the political front is a bit sleepy…..why?….the players are on another break from work….a break from work?….when have our politicians EVER done a full weeks work?  But they need a break to chill and rejuvenate themselves…..

Since the news is so boring….I had to find something humorous to post and if things are the same then this post will be hit by many many readers (an amazement to me)….but here goes…

If you’re looking to get laid by a wider range of paramours, maybe you should trade in your Android for an iPhone. A new study shows that female iPhone users have an average of 12 sexual partners by age 30, and male iPhone users 10 partners, compared with six for male and female Android users and about eight for Blackberry users, FastCompany reports.
The company that did the survey calls it “statistical proof that iPhone users aren’t just getting f**cked by Apple.” “Perhaps they meant to say AT&T,” Fast Company quips. The study also looked into another aspect of the rewards of shelling out for pricey gadgets, finding that pictures taken by more expensive cameras make their subjects look more attractive. Most attractive are pics taken by the Panasonic Micro; least attractive are Motorola camera phone snaps.

So…there is my answer……I need to buy more Apple products…..

So run down and get one of those phones and your love life should improve measurably…..ROFLMAO!

I Have All Sober To Sunday Up

The more things change, the more they stay the same……

Young people across the county are being encouraged to think more about their sexual health following research which has revealed the shocking finding that one in three young people in the county have had drunken sex.

It also found one in five (22 per cent) of young people have gone home with a stranger while 15 per cent have invited a stranger back to their home.

Almost all the 16 to 24-year-olds surveyed by YouthNet were sexually active (92 per cent) and more than a third (37 per cent) first had sex under the legal age of 16.

More than a third of girls (36.9 per cent) and just under one fifth of boys (19 per cent) said they thought they should have waited longer to have sex.

Almost one in three boys (29.9 per cent) and one in five girls (19.1 per cent) said they had been drinking when they first had sex.

One in five boys did not use contraception when they first had sex (21.5 per cent), compared with one in ten girls (11 per cent.)

Gay Pregnancy?

Thinking……it that not an oxymoron?

Lesbian, gay and bisexual teenagers are at significantly higher risk for pregnancy during their teen years than their heterosexual peers, suggests a survey published Tuesday in the Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality.

The University of British Columbia study looked at adolescent health surveys of 1992, 1998, and 2003, which were random studies of about 70,000 students in Grades 7 through 12 in public schools across the province of B.C.

One of the reasons for higher pregnancy among sexual minority youth, say the report’s authors, is the stigma gay teens continue to face and the strategies they may engage in order to cope with that stigma.

For example, in 1998 among the teenage girls surveyed, 7.3 per cent of lesbians and 10.6 per cent of girls who said they were bisexual reported pregnancy compared with 1.8 per cent of heterosexual girls.

The report suggests that for youth, the stigma of being gay may lead to engaging in heterosexual dating and sex as a form of “camouflage” to avoid being identified as homosexual.

Of the girls surveyed, 100 per cent of those who had become pregnant also said they had been discriminated against on the basis of their sexuality, while only 42.7 per cent of lesbian girls who said they had never been pregnant cited discrimination.

Only 18.4 per cent of gay teenage boys who were involved in getting a woman pregnant said they had experienced discrimination, while 60.4 per cent of those who were not involved in pregnancy said they had not been discriminated against.

Other explanations for the higher rates of pregnancy may be the higher number of gay and lesbian youth who live on the streets. The study finds that street youth – those who have run away from home, for example – are at higher risk for teen pregnancy, in part because survival sex or sexual exploitation can increase the frequency of sex and make it difficult to negotiate contraception and safer sexual practices.

The study also suggests a higher number of gay and lesbian teens are experiencing sex at a younger age – under 14 – than their heterosexual peers.

Now That Is A Pain In The Butt

Since the holiday and not much is happening until Monday, I guess today will be “Sexy Sunday”.  I regret thyat these were the only interesting things I could find, but what the hell, it is reading material.

A new study by researchers at the Bradley Hasbro Children’s Research Center suggests that the incidence of heterosexual anal sex is increasing among teens and young adults – particularly those who have recently had unprotected vaginal sex.

The study, published online by the American Journal of Public Health , is among the first to report on the little-known factors associated with heterosexual anal intercourse among adolescents and young adults.

“The topic of anal intercourse is often considered taboo – especially when discussed in the context of youth relationships – even though we know that this behavior is a significant risk factor for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. It’s critical that we recognize that more and more young people are engaging in anal sex so we can open the lines of communications and help them protect their sexual health,” says lead author Celia Lescano, PhD, of the Bradley Hasbro Children’s Research Center (BHCRC).

Researchers assessed the sexual behavior of 1,348 adolescents and young adults between the ages of 15 and 21 who had unprotected sex in the previous three months. They found that 16 percent had engaged in heterosexual anal intercourse within the timeframe, with condoms being used just 29 percent of the time.

Females who had heterosexual anal sex were more likely to be living with their partners, to have two or more sexual partners and to have previously experienced coerced intercourse. Males who engaged in heterosexual anal intercourse were more likely to identify themselves as being homosexual, bisexual or undecided.

However, there were several factors related to anal intercourse that were consistent in both genders. In general, those who felt that using condoms decreased the pleasure of sex and those who used drugs at the time of intercourse engaged in riskier behaviors, suggesting that interventions should emphasize that sex can be both pleasurable and safe.

Study participants in Atlanta, Miami and Providence completed a self-interview designed to measure sexual risk behaviors, relationships, sexual risk attitudes, substance use and mental health. The majority of the group (92 percent) defined themselves as being heterosexual. Overall, 56 percent were female; approximately half of the participants were African American, 24 percent were Hispanic and 20 percent were white.

Hot For Teacher

Last year a teacher was fired from our local middle school. I don’t know the whole story, but apparently she showed too much skin at a bar one night. The school principal happened to be there and witnessed it. I was shocked she was fired for that. Even if she stripped topless, it happened at a bar. On her off time. When she was out with girl friends. Middle school students can’t get in to a bar so it’s not likely any of them would have been subjected to it. And I think many of us have had one too many on a girls night out and done something we aren’t to proud of. But she was fired anyway.

And she wasn’t even a former porn star with a pornographic website currently on the internet.

But there’s a teacher’s aide in New Jersey that still has her job even though she is a former porn star with an active website. She also works with children at her local YMCA. As you can imagine there are some parents that are none to happy about this. But the school says they don’t have grounds to fire her because porn doesn’t show up in a background check and being a porn star isn’t illegal.

And that porn star past? It’s been 5 years since she has done porn. Crystal Gunns, and her obvious assets, appeared in at least three adult-themed movies: ‘Busty Dildo Lovers #5′ in 2003, ‘Score Brabusters’ in 2002, and ‘Busty Dildo Lovers #2′, also in 2002. She also still appears to maintain an adult Web site at crystalgunns[dot]com. The front page features a login prompt for paying members. Nonetheless, finding photos or videos of her pornographic endeavors is easily enough accomplished with a simple google search however those results will be NSFW so take note!

This bring up a lot of questions. Should her pornographic past keep her from working with children? Or does her previous profession have nothing to do with her current job? What rights does she have? Does she deserve the chance to prove she can be a mentor to children? After all, she isn’t a pedophile. She’s just a woman who had sex on film for money. And sex is a very natural thing. Although sex on TV isn’t really that natural.

Do her previous choice of employment mean she doesn’t have the morals to be a good role model to children today? Does being a porn star make you a bad person? Being in a porno isn’t illegal. It’s probably not something you want for your children. But then I doubt this woman is talking about her past to the kids at her school.

I believe that her boobs are 44GG or GGG–now talk about waking up male hormones!
