Damn! I Agree Again!

Once again I find myself, not leaving a good taste in my mouth, with MTG on the political dominator, AIPAC.

My agreement with her is becoming disconcerting….

Just look at their power over Congress….and the White House…..Israel is being allowed to totally wipe out Gaza and has turned its thugs on the West Bank.

Far-right US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene declared on Monday that she was “not controlled” by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the powerful pro-Israel lobby group, in a statement posted on X.

The Republican representative made the comment after expressing support for the release of Edan Alexander, a dual US-Israeli citizen and Israeli soldier, who was the latest captive to be freed from Gaza.

“This is wonderful news! Let’s also hope to see an end to that war,” Greene wrote, quoting former President Donald Trump’s announcement of the release during his visit to Saudi Arabia.

“I’m not controlled by big pharma, the military-industrial complex, or AIPAC. And I’m not suicidal nor depressed, and I never have been. I’m actually very happy and extremely healthy and I love my life,” she added.

The remark drew backlash online, with many pointing out that if she hadn’t been influenced by AIPAC, then her support for Israel’s brutal onslaught on Gaza was a matter of personal conviction.

“That’s kinda worse, since it means you’ve voted to fund Israel’s genocide out of conviction,” an X user replied, while others questioned why such a statement was necessary.

AIPAC has increasingly come under fire for targeting elected officials critical of Israel, especially those who opposed military aid or called for a ceasefire during Israel’s war on Gaza. The group launched an ad blitz last month against US senators who voted to block a multibillion-dollar arms package for Israel.

Since October 2023, Israel’s military campaign has killed more than 61,700 Palestinians and left the Gaza Strip in a state of humanitarian collapse. Aid agencies report that emergency supplies of food, fuel, and medicine have been blocked for over two months.

AIPAC is a foreign entity that is buying our political system…..no way to justify their existence.  Period.

AIPAC should be used to illustrate the evil of PACs….this influence has turned the Congress and the presidency into a group of subservient clowns.

I know it will not happen any time soon but the Lobbying industry needs to be shutdown and remove any influence from the decision making process.

Well I have proof.

First the Trump bunch of thugs have given Israel the green light to finish stealing Palestinian land by annexing the West Bank’s Occupied Territories.

Congress people have been given permission to criticize Israel over this annexation thing.

The leading pro-Israel lobby in the United States is telling lawmakers that they are free to criticize Israel’s looming annexation plans — just as long as the criticism stops there.

Two sources — a congressional aide and a donor — say the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, is delivering that guidance in Zoom meetings and phone calls with lawmakers. The message is unusual because the group assiduously discourages public criticism of Israel.

Personally I want representatives to speak the truth….but that is impossible in some cases in DC…..and thwe biggest one is criticism of AIPAC as Rep. Omar has learned….

AIPAC, however, does relentlessly push a pro-Israeli message on Capitol Hill and inside the executive branch, and its members donate to pro-Israel lawmakers and candidates while seeking to defeat those it considers a threat to U.S.-Israeli relations.

And then the mental midget Kevin McCarthy had to put his babble into the discussion…

Omar has come under fire from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and other Republicans over her comments criticizing Israel, both remarks made since her election to Congress and long before she even began her political career.

McCarthy and other Republicans have pressed Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and top Democrats to “take action” against Omar and Tlaib, saying he would do so if the GOP were the majority party.

McCarthy added: “Anti-Semitic tropes have no place in the halls of Congress. It is dangerous for Democrat leadership to stay silent on this reckless language.”

He, slow McCarthy,  made my point for me….does he know what antisemitism actual is?  Apparently NOT!  And they trust this slug to count votes…..(insert raucous laughter)

Speaking truth is not antisemitism!

Does AIPAC spend a lot of money on Congress?  You bet your ass it does!

Please someone call these moron d/bags out on the lies they spread!

I pray these brave women continue to speak out and putting these old white a/holes in their place……Pelosi needs to grow a pair and step up to these women’s defense….and NOW!

After I wrote this draft news has come that she had issued an apology…..

Omar did tweet a statemement Monday saying, among other things, “I unequivocally apologize,” but she added that she stands behind her criticism of “the problematic role of lobbyists in our politics,” including AIPAC.

She did what the cowards of the DNC wanted….so it is DONE!

The mash up was nothing but a diversion…..but the truth that will not be said……the Dems are bought!

Agents Of A Foreign Power

We have heard all the mash up about this person or that that has been working as an agent of a foreign country……and how they failed to register as an agent or they forgot some vital information when filling out their security forms…..

To me there are some PACs that need to register……a group like the pro-Israel AIPAC…..is the first to come to mind.

Last week the Senate Judiciary Committee postponed a meeting ostensibly convened to discuss the failure to enforce the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 (FARA). Originally rescheduled for this week, the postponed meeting would have featured Donald Trump Jr. and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort testifying about their controversial Trump Tower meeting, but their subpoenas were canceled at the last minute after they arranged to turn over documents. The June 2016 meeting under investigation included Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin, publicist Rob Goldstone, businessman Ike Kaveladze, and translator Anatoli Samochornov. Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner was also in attendance, apparently only briefly.

The Judiciary Committee hearing was originally set up to look at the possible Russian links of former journalist and head of the research firm Fusion GPS Glenn Simpson, who was behind the infamous Trump dossier that appeared in January. Yet in reality it is part of the broader effort to determine whether Moscow interfered in the 2016 election on behalf of the Donald Trump campaign.

I think anyone or any group that takes money to influence or country should be on record as a foreign “agent”……matters not your station in life.

BiBi: Call His Bluff!

I need to apologize for my lax reporting on international situations….but I have finally got my hands on the Bin Laden documents and I have been pouring over them looking for stuff…..

Plus the media has been laser focused on a woman’s lawsuit for naked pics, and some women in Texas that was stopping traffic by being nude and finally some driver gets pulled over because there is a small tree embedded in the radiator of a car….now those are news! (sarcasm in case you missed it)……

While on break I was reading some news and one event that had me up thinking was BiBi’s failure to come to the AIPAC meeting this year….

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today that he will not be making a visit to Washington DC later this month to attend the AIPAC annual conference, and by extension is also refusing a proposed White House visit with President Obama.

White House officials expressed outrage at the news that Netanyahu was not only declining their invitation, but hadn’t declined to them personally, saying they first heard about it in the Israeli press, along with false claims from Israeli officials that there was no possible time to schedule the meeting with Obama.

Israeli officials insisted that the cancellation was because of the proximity to US primary elections, though no primary elections are scheduled for the duration of the planned visit. This  was seen as another slight to the White House, referencing Obama’s refusal to meet Netanyahu last year in the lead-up to the Israeli elections.

This is a class act, the PM of Israel, if he wants to play a game then I say give him a game.

I have an idea (it will never see the light of day….but what the Hell)……

Just for being a d/bag all arms shipments are suspended……and then inform the Saudis, who have become butt buddies with BiBi, that any attempt to be a middle man for Israel will result in sanctions and a suspension of ALL military aid.  Send word to Israeli government that all settlements must halt or any American company doing business in Israel will be sanctioned and fined.  Then meet with Palestinian reps to talk about the recognition that they richly deserve (I know this part will be tricky because no one knows for sure who reps who)…… meet with EU partners and work up a plan for dealing with the escalating violence on the West Bank.  Finally, give American companies willing to rebuild Gaza a tax incentive (to be determined later)……inform UN that the US will NO longer work as a surrogate for Israel….all dual citizenship holders will be told to pick one over the other…dual Israeli citizenship will NO longer be recognized.

How’s that for a plan?

Now my question is….does the US have the cajones to call Israel’s bluff?

But could it really be the BiBi is just pouting?

he White House is exploring the possibility of supporting a UN Security Council resolution that would set the principles for a permanent Israeli-Palestinian agreement. The resolution would be brought to a vote before the end of U.S. President Barack Obama‘s term in office, the Wall Street Journal has reported.

Some of Obama’s advisers, as well as senior officials at the State Department in Washington, believe that the American president’s legacy on the Israeli-Palestinian issue should be a Security Council resolution that would determine principles for the end of the conflict.

Such a resolution would replace the Security Council’s Resolution 242 from 1967 and Resolution 338 from 1973. It would serve as a new source of authority for the peace process, secure and preserve the two-state solution, and make it clear to the Israelis and Palestinians what concessions they would have to make if they one day decide to renew the peace process.

What’s Next For AIPAC?

Now that the Iranian nuke deal is facing all the challenges that can possibly be found by those whores in Congress at the behest of their Sugar Daddy, AIPAC…….games on top of games will be played by those wanting to kill the deal and move to a more aggressive footing….neocons will not go quietly into the night…..they must do as they are told.

After the announcement of the deal AIPAC went batcrap crazy throwing money at those in Congress that could kill the deal…..hoping to head off the deal at the proverbial pass….they crapped out hard.  The deal will go through……is it possible that AIPAC has lost its pull?

Whose Idea Was The 2003 Invasion Of Iraq?

We Americans have heard all the horror stories about the lies that lead to the 2003 invasion of Iraq…….all the back door moves and all the misinformation….

The Bushites went to the Hill and made the case that No one could resist for the overthrow of Saddam…..of course there was the infamous WMDs…..that did not exist……then there was the ‘mushroom’ cloud analogy that Repubs are always pushing……all in all a beautiful package of lies……and off the country went to….do or die.  And 14 years later we are still paying for the lies.

But was there more to the invasion than we have been told?  Did AIPAC and Israel have any hand in the decision to invade?

Nowadays there is an opinion on the Iran deal everywhere.  Most of they are not based in reality but rather emotional ramblings about some mythical problem.

Few people that oppose the deal have not taken the time to acquaint themselves with the agreement……they had rather jump on that silly bandwagon of hatred stemming from actions in 1979……basically holding a grudge.

Sen. Schumer is a Dem and opposed to the deal….I expected him to be in opposition after all he is owed by AIPAC and Israel cash…….but is his opposition real or made up to appease those paying him to be in Congress (not talking about the voters here)…….

Iran Deal: What Price Opposition?

Since the announcement of the deal come to by US (P5+1) and Iran…..there has been a concerted effort to kill the deal and move the country to a more war footing…….neocons and their handlers, Israel are working overtime……and the cash is being spread around like peanut butter……

The Senator next in line for the leadership of the Dems is earning the cash advance from Israel……..

In a move seen as a major blow to the P5+1 nuclear deal with Iran, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D – NY), one of the most influential “undecided” votes in the Senate, has announced that he has decided to oppose the deal, and will encourage other Democrats to do the same.

Sen. Schumer had been a major target of Israel Lobby pressure in recent days to vote against the deal, and his broad influence was seen as a potential inducement to other Democrats to go along. Schumer insisted his position was the result of “considerable soul-searching.”

“Soul searching”?  Is that code for checking to see if the money is in his account yet?

Sorry this should disqualify him from a leadership roll….if he can be manipulated by foreign powers this easily….do you really want him in control?

You know there is an election coming……..and that could be the deciding factor………

With powerful lobbying groups threatening to make hay of the issue in the next election, many in Congress are facing a tough decision on how to vote, knowing that there is big money that is likely to be turned against them if they don’t go along in trying to block the pact.

Once again it comes down to cash and re-election………the backbone of what was once an American democracy.

Here’s an idea…..why not get these types to register as paid agents for a foreign government…..since AIPAC gets cash from the “homeland” to fight these fight……

Flash!  Democracy in America is DEAD!  God has been replaced by money!  All this is becoming more and more disgusting with every election!

The US sends multi-billions to Israel in the form of aid……and now with the upcoming vote on the Iranian nuke deal Israel is going into full opposition mode…….the lobby will be spending millions to political ‘friends’ to try and defeat the deal…..I ask of all the money spent to try and defeat the deal…..how much of that cash will be supplied by the American taxpayer?

The American people need to realize that they nor Israel are the center of the universe…..this deal effects more than the neocons in either country…..keep on mind…..if the deal goes South there will be NO one to blame but Israel and its lackeys……..whatever happens after that is on their heads and their heads alone!

The world sees the benefit of this deal, the positive benefits, everyone but the whores that Israel pays to do their bidding…….

Time for Israel to man up and join the human race…….
