Venezuela Day Dreamin’

Donny and the thugs keep attacking small boats that they say are ‘narco-boats’….is this Donny invoking the Monroe Doctrine?  (Hahahahha!)

Who decides which vessels are ‘narco’ and which are not? OPr does anyone decide?

Let’s be honest these tools have no idea who those boats are or what they are up to…..

The Trump administration has made a series of startling admissions about the people it is killing in its undeclared war against suspected drug smugglers in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Trump officials acknowledged in separate briefings provided to lawmakers and staffers on Thursday that they do not know the identities of the victims of their strikes, and that the War Department cannot meet the evidentiary burden necessary to hold or try survivors of the attacks. Such victims who find themselves in the water are now deemed “unprivileged belligerents,” a murky designation under international humanitarian law.

Since September 2, the U.S. military has been attacking boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific Ocean, killing more than 60 civilians. The Trump administration insists the slayings are permissible because the U.S. is engaged in “non-international armed conflict” with “designated terrorist organizations,” or DTOs. Two government officials told The Intercept that the administration secretly declared a “non-international armed conflict” weeks if not months before the first attack of the campaign.

Trump Administration Admits It Doesn’t Know Who Exactly It’s Killing in Boat Strikes

If they have no idea then is not this murder?  Without proof it is in my book.

To make things worse……Hogsbreath has issued his mandate that no one is to talk to Congress about any of this…..

The Office of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has disseminated a broad list of topics that Defense Department personnel are now required to seek prior approval on before engaging with Congress, which includes any and all “sensitive military operations” and US military strikes on suspected drug boats around Latin America, according to people familiar with the latest guidance.

The guidance was handed down following confusion over an initial memo issued by Hegseth that barred all Defense Department personnel, including military commanders, from talking to Congress or state lawmakers unless they have received prior approval from the agency’s office of legislative affairs.

Now the Congress is being locked out of the process…..starting to smell fishy.

And now the idiots are thumping their chest like sex crazed primates and planning (?) to strike inland……

President Trump may be about to escalate his fight against Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro in a big way: The Miami Herald, citing unnamed sources, reports that the Trump administration has decided to launch airstrikes against military installations in the country. The White House accuses Maduro of running a drug-trafficking enterprise and says the military facilities identified are used in the smuggling. The Wall Street Journal has a similar report, but it doesn’t go quite as far, asserting that the administration has indeed identified targets but that Trump has not yet decided to hit them.

Any such strikes would be the clearest signal yet from the US that Maduro must step down, per the Journal. “Maduro is about to find himself trapped and might soon discover that he cannot flee the country even if he decided to,” says one of the Herald sources. “What’s worse for him, there is now more than one general willing to capture and hand him over, fully aware that one thing is to talk about death, and another to see it coming.”

The US military presence in the region has grown steadily, with warships, fighter jets, and drones positioned for rapid action. The US has already conducted maritime attacks on suspected drug traffickers, resulting in dozens of deaths, but officials say traffickers are increasingly avoiding sea routes, prompting the shift to potential land strikes.

How long is he going to push this crap?

Does the US really need another war to finance?

Please someone let me know where the logic is this action.

  1. As if Venezuela wasn’t enough, Trump is now talking about invading Nigeria, to attack the Muslim fundamentalists responsible for killing Christians in that country. The common factor with both Venezuela and Nigeria is of course oil production, with Nigeria being Africa’s largest crude oil producer.
In domestic news, I see that Vance is now cuddling up with Charlie’ Kirk’s widow, and saying his Hindu wife has to convert to Christianity or he will divorce her. Then he will no doubt marry Mrs ‘no real tears’ Kirk. It just gets worse over there every single day.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. I don’t really understand what this obsession with Venezuela is all about either. The country isn’t even a primary source of illegal drugs being funneled into the US. And to the best of my knowledge most of the boats they’re bombing don’t have enough range to reach the US anyway.

The most disturbing part of all of this is that they are basically executing people on the mere suspicion of committing a crime for which they would have gotten, at most, 10 or 15 years in prison if they were caught and convicted inside of the US.

    1. It has the largest oil reserves in the world, Grouchy. And a female opposition leader who is a fan of Trump and can be bought and paid for. It’s all about oil, as it usually is.
‘Estimated at 303 billion barrels (Bbbl) as of 2023, Venezuela is home to the largest known reserves of oil. Saudi Arabia ranks second with 267.2 Bbbl, followed by Iran at 208.6 Bbbl and Canada at 163.6 Bbbl. Together, these four countries account for more than half of global oil reserves.’

  3. As these expensive boats skip across the sea at 50-60 mph it is obvious who’s using them and what they’re carrying. The crime is more than mere 10-15 drug trafficing. Included would be murder.

    1. Carl where are these boats going….they do not have the capacity to make the US…..and what about the Columbian fishermen that were attacked a killed? There is no proof other the words from a proven liar. chuq

    2. FIrst, in your mind every boat doing 50 MPH plus is carrying drugs? Tell that to people running cigarette boats off the coast of Florida. Hell, half the fishing boats we have out on the lakes around here can do that. So they should call out drone strikes on any boat on a lake around here that’s going faster than 50 mph?

Second, the administration has presented the public with absolutely zero actual evidence that any of these boats has been carrying drugs. None. Zip. Zilch. All we have is the word of people who have lied to us so often in the past that they’ve proven they cannot be trusted with anything.

Third. you may not like it but selling, distributing and transporting drugs is not a capital offense in the US. Period. Go read the laws yourself. They’re a matter of public record. Even if drug use can be directly linked to an overdose death the persons who transported those drugs would get, at most, thirty or forty years in prison, not the death penalty.

  4. Often they make the first leg to meet a big ship at sea to transfer “products” to. That ship, closer to Miami/Key West would than transfer goods to a different speedboat. Or the goods are delivered to Haiti, Jamiaca, or Bahamas or Cuba (they have protection by Cuba), and the final leg to Miami is 90 miles, less from Bahamas. Coast Guard, Drug and port of Miami police have been intercepting boats for several decades. If they get through, the speedboats can deliver to residental areas on the Intercoastal canals for delivery. Esp busy in 1980’s with Cocaine Cowboys who would buy realestate to hide cash until law enforcement and feds stopped it. . Often we could see the 3 x 2 bales of weed drifting in at the beach and some would harvest the bales although not drug gang connected just beach boys. We would say we are going fishing for square grouper, which of course was the bales. The ability of feds to identify speedboat and their “sailors” is remarkably efficient. If they don’t get boats at sea they’ll get them at the labs in Dade and Broward County or at other delivery points. Communications in the cloud are monitored too. The smugglers – Feds probably even know their shoe sizes and names of their girlfriends.

      1. That is a very reasonable question. I don’t know. However many cities alllow the known urban dope holes remain open so they can harvest customers as “clients” for the criminal justice industry despite the alleged war on drugs. Are the big ships
immune as they fly the flags of nations under whose flag they operate? Just a qestion as I knew nothing about ships and rules of the sea.
