I am a supporter of a 3rd Party candidate, Jill Stein of the Green Party.
The Libertarian Party candidate, Gary Johnson is polling better than Stein…if true then the US is more center-Right than the media wants to acknowledge…plus I cannot understand the popularity of this candidate.
The Green Party foreign policy is more in line with my thoughts than the Libertarians even though they are all for non-intervention….Johnson is just a moron on foreign policy……I cannot support him.
Looks like I am not alone.
Even hard-core Libertarian Ron Paul will be supporting Dr. Stein……

Former Texas congressman Ron Paul, a longtime hero of the libertarian right, surprised many on Monday when he told MSNBC that he has no plans to back Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson.
Paul, who himself was the Libertarian nominee in 1988 and ran as a Republican primary candidate on several subsequent occasions, said he actually prefers Green Party nominee Jill Stein on important issues like civil liberties and foreign policy.
“She’s probably the best on foreign policy at the moment,” Paul said, stressing that he hasn’t endorsed anyone for president yet.

Ron Paul may be voting for Dr. Jill Stein…..maybe now you alternate voters will take notice…..the key is Paul’s statement…….“She’s probably the best on foreign policy at the moment,” Paul said……..can you hear me now?
If a Right leaning politician can see that Stein is the better candidate….why can;t you?

Surely we all know that a vote for Green or any third party is a vote for Trump.
I do not subscribe to that…..a wasted vote is voting for someone that you do not support……
a wasted vote is one that will not count toward electing someone to office. Making a statement doesn’t really amount to anything in this case.
Sorry I cannot vote for anyone that I have no confidence in….and neither of the two biggies make me confident….no vote is wasted
well, I disagree with that. I would sooner stay home than cast a vote that would favor the exact candidate that I liked least, and believe me I don’t care for either, but at least one of them is sane.
That is my point…if I do not like the 2 “God given” candidates and I want to exercise my right to vote….
Heartafire, what exactly is your definition of sanity when you state “. . . at least one of them is sane”?
You may wish to take a clearer look at Hillary and Donald. Sane? Tubularsock thinks not!
Jill’s belief structure and the Green Platform is one of sanity. Read IT!
Hillary and her neocon mentality is straight-up CRAZY! And Donnie has fallen over the edge of the loony-tune-boat-ride.
But if you are wanting to support sanity …… START NOW! Vote Green.
I was not implying that Jill or the Green Platform is not sane or a good idea. I am saying a vote for a third party is a vote for Trump and I don’t believe he has both oars in the water.
I will not waste my vote on the Green Party, keeping Trump out of the white house is too important.
Well Heartafire you are so correct about Trump’s oars and he’s rudderless as well and Tubularsock understands your concerns. But we each have to make that decision of either voting from fear or voting from conscious.
Tubularsock has spent his voting life being told that one has to vote for the lessor of the two evils and that is what this country has done for so long that we are down to TWO EVILS. Now what?
Now it is not that the population of the United States doesn’t deserve what we’ll get.
To have these two candidates being our “best” leadership that America can bring to the table just shows how close to the fall of the Roman Empire we are and neither have enough intelligence to pull us back from the brink.
Trumps an idiot and Hillary is just another puppet like step-an-fetch-it Obummer. They all bend over on Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex command.
So good luck. And really don’t worry, Hillary will win no matter how you or Tubularsock votes because that deal has already gone down some time ago.
You see Hillary is the token woman just like Barack was the token black man. After this we’ll be able to get back to fat-old-white-men to rule the country. That is what Amerikkkan are used to!

I’m afraid, my friend, the word “think” has nothing to do with any part of this election, on any level, or in regard to any candidate. They all demonstrate the basic flaw of the entire scenario, to wit: they WANT the job, which proves them insane.
I am also afraid, research has already shown proof that all the votes are wasted, for the outcome is entirely scripted, and has been for more than 75 years. No reform politician has been elected by public demand in more than that amount of time….
The experiment has lived up to the predictions made by the founding fathers, of what would occur if the populace did not educate themselves, and watch the damn bankers, to keep them out of the system… which didn’t happen. Hence, 2016.

I disliked Stein’s VP choice. It seemed as if he ultimately wanted to dismantle America all at once, in the most chaotic way possible. I can’t say that I understand why Jill Stein chose him since much of his writing is questionable. Hard to know whether he’s an American who cares or a terrorist who’s upset by the so-called “system.” Who knows.
