I think, of all the various metaphors we use to describe reality, for our human culture, the word “circus” is probably the best, and most appropriate choice, to give the proper, accurate feeling to what we see…. It also often resembles the scenario one witnesses when p0king a stick into an anthill…. Just as mindless, just as chaotic as what one sees the ant colony do to protect the site…
Your last line was, perhaps, the most accurate statement you could have made… Sad, and pathetic is definitely what is is….
