Since I am interested in international relations I listen closely to what candidates have to say about world affairs……especially the GOP because they are the enablers of the Military-Industrial Complex (M-IC) I am always watching their words on the subject……
These candidates have a wealth of opinions but sadly the best they can do is chest thump and feed the gullible public with bluster and misinformation……
This election will be very important when it comes to foreign policy…..and so far not one of the candidates strikes me as particularly savvy on the subject…..and that will be troubling….especially if they happen to win in 2016……

Well even I know something about Syria! It’s a small city on the outskirts of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
And a Palestine in Texas…..I believe there is a Lebanon in Ohio, I think….
True that!
Well said. Frankly to an outsider like me, the US has lost the place of a Just Trust worthy player especially in the MiddleEast
Plus it seems to be worsening as this election goes on…..
Yes, as skeletons are tumbling.
So sad for this country….we can only pray that rational thought will return….chuq
yes true, with great power comes great responsibility needs to be practiced too. Seeing media comments on the issue of 10 marines captured and released by Iran shows such maturity is not even visible.Politicians sing the song the people wish to hear.
American politics where truth foes to die….chuq
well said
Thanx
Yes, the word is diplomacy! But that has no attraction to the candidates and voters. In my opinion world powers fall for the temptation to turn into world bullies. Diplomacy is the first action for small countries They have not enough military power to rattle with. Diplomacy and being informed is their weapon.
Since WW2 Americans have used Chamberlain’s deal as a sign of weakness and that means diplomacy is a sign of the same….it is stupid bit then we can be very much so….chuq
