We all have marveled at the idiocy that is Donald Trump. His comment on Hispanics and Mexicans have pissed off a whole segment of society….but the upside is the media cannot get enough of his stupidity. And he is the front runner at this time for the GOP nomination…….and that speaks volumes about the mental capability of the GOP…..at least to me.
But while the Donald was languishing in the spotlight of fame he has been ambushed by another……a preacher with just as much stupidity as Trump……I am speaking about Huckabee.
We know that all the GOP candidates are on the same page in the opposition to the Iranian deal….but my man Huck has taken it to the extremes……..
It’s no surprise that presidential candidate Mike Huckabee isn’t happy with the recent Iran nuclear deal, but the rhetoric he used to make his point has prompted a call from the Democratic National Committee for an apology, the BBC reports. In an interview with Breitbart on Saturday, the ex-Arkansas governor called President Obama’s foreign policy “the most feckless in American history” and said the commander in chief was “naive” to think we should place our trust in Iran. But it’s what he said next that ired the DNC: Huckabee said that by striking the Iran deal, which he calls the “most idiotic thing,” Obama “will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.” He continued: “It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people. I read the whole deal. We gave away the whole store. It’s got to be stopped.”
In a statement, DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said Huckabee’s comments had “no place in American politics” and that “cavalier analogies to the Holocaust are unacceptable,” per CNN. “Mike Huckabee must apologize to the Jewish community and to the American people for this grossly irresponsible statement,” she added. But Huckabee doubled down on Twitter with a graphic of his controversial quote, accompanied by the message: “Tell Congress to do their constitutional duty & reject the Obama-Kerry #IranDeal.” He also included a link to his website, where he demanded Congress not take summer vacation until it kills the “horrific, humiliating handout to Iran that threatens Israel, emboldens terrorists, and will trigger a nuclear arms race across the Middle East.” His campaign rep simply noted to CNN that “the comment speaks for itself.”
Someone had to stop Trumps meteoric rise and Huck took it upon himself…….he doubled down on the “oven” comment saying that he had been to Auschwitz three times and stood at the door of the oven….he knows what the door looks like…..seriously? Apparently all you need to qualify as an expert in the GOP in foreign policy is the capability in recognizing a door……
But what can you expect from the brain of a Baptist preacher? Certainly not anything rational.
For now Huck has stolen Donald’s thunder….and the god will be angered…….
It seems rational to me. Iran has called for the eradication of Israel repeatedly as have all the terrorist groups and Islamic governments and Islamic religious leaders. What is irrational at not believing them
? It is the goal of Islam to eradicate all non believers. Holocaust ? You better believe it.
Leaders speak to their base…just like in this country only difference is we do not talk about eradicating a group openly…..we prefer to sneak up on them…..
Two-bit Huckster…LOL
I hope Chuck Norris re-joins his campaign so I can go back to using the “Huck and Chuck Show”…….LOL
Actually, I couldn’t be happier… The candidates on both sides of the aisle are all of the type who will either shoot themselves in the foot on a daily basis, or, have such a dark past, it will rise up to eat them in the harsh glare of presidential investigative journalism. The situation you are describing with Turnip and Huckleberry is kind of like the opening act of a circus… I’m having fun!…
Think about it; we won’t ever have to go out to look for something to write about. They’ll all be falling all over themselves to give us plenty of material, gratis…
Remember, they’re ALL insane….
gigoid, the dubious
I know but I would prefer to be writing about policies and not stupidity….but I will take what they give…..chuq
Yep, gotta go with the flow; it’s good to slip in a dig on an issue in the middle of chewing on them, though. Sometimes it even works better, cuz they are often a perfect example of the issue’s relevance, by how stupidly they oppose it… Best fun of all… I love it when they look stupid, and can’t do anything to spin it…
😉

Reblogged this on It Is What It Is and commented:
… the god will indeed be angered! I can’t believe this is what it’s all coming down to. The “winner” will be the most outrageous & the loser will be the country. Oh, it already is!
Wonder what the “world watching” is thinking.
I spend a lot of time on line with friends overseas, mostly in the Middle East, and they think Americans are just silly to allow this type of one-up-man-ship to continue…..they cannot understand how we can preach to them and allow this type of silliness to continue…..
Thanx for the re-blog….hugz! Chuq
I can imagine! Welcome, Chuq
Yeah, I heard about that intelligence spouted by Huckabee yesterday. But, I didn’t have to hear about that to make a decision about his “intelligence.” He proved to me and millions of others how “intelligent” he can be a long time ago. IMHO, he is one of the most stupid of men. Surprise!! End of story.
Agreed….but I have come expect a certain lack of intelligence in Baptist preachers……
I don’t know anything about Baptist preachers, but if he’s an example, I pity the members of his church.
Not just his church……he speaks for many more…..
