The Vietnam War: After Forty Years by Lawrence Wittner — Antiwar.com

This month is the 40th year since the fall of Saigon and the end of American involvement in Vietnam……

To marl the anniversary I have been posting different views of that war with the hope that Americans will pay attention…..if they do not….it will happen all over again……and again.

  1. I believe that History has shown Americans in general to have a short memory span when it comes to wars. —- We seem to get out of one and right into another one and it has been that way ever since I can remember. —- How is human nature expected to change?

    1. You can thank the media for a good part of the short span……it has become a source of propaganda for the government…….it can change but it will take people using their brains instead of their emotions…..a long row to hoe…..Americans are too emotional to do the right thing…..
