Does McCain Know He Is A Douche?

The ‘bomb bomb Iran dude and his little buddy Graham are always out there with a criticism of Obama on foreign policy especially if he does not use military might on a problem….first, do they get paid by the M-IC every time they dash out and condemn for NOT using military force?

Let’s review…..when the ISIS thing reared its ugly head McCain and  the little guy started their BS about airstrikes and blaming it all on Obama for leaving Iraq……now guess what?

The president has authorized humanitarian air lifts and airstrikes on ISIS positions….and McCain/Graham are at it again….

You can add Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) to the list of hawkishRepublicans who have found a reason to be unhappy about President Barack Obama’s authorization of military airstrikes on ISIS in Iraq. In an interview Friday with The Daily Beast, McCain said Obama’s plan of action is “almost worse than nothing” and the “weakest possible response.”

“This is a pinprick,” McCain said of the operation, in which two F-18 fighter jets dropped 500-pound bombs onto ISIS artillery outside of the Kurdish city of Erbil. “It’s almost worse than nothing because I fear the president is threatening and then he won’t follow through. It’s the weakest possible response and we cannot allow them to take Erbil. What [the administration has] done so far is almost meaningless.”

War Hawks are such a fickle lot…….they will do and say anything that keeps their paychecks rolling in from the Complex…….it’s amazing that a person who supposedly suffered greatly would be such a cheerleader about sending in troops to suffer….apparently he learned NOTHING from his ordeal…..he is a SAD person!

There Is Ignorant Then There Is Stupid

One of my fave quotes is….”Stupidity Is The Deliberate Cultivation Of Ignorance”……and it is proved every damn day.

In the country right now there is a debate, if you will, on the possibility of raising the minimum wage to a level that would allow people to exist without having to ask for help from the government.  lots of yeas and nays…..some states have taking it on themselves to for go the mindless debate and raise the wages for people within their borders.  Minnesota is one of these states that has done the right thing….and one guy decided to make a political statement in opposition to the raise……

But first let me tell you something about the restaurant business…..the success of an established cafe or bistro is the clientele…..without their patronage you gots NOTHING!  So anytime you change things it needs to be done without much hoopla that way your public will continue to visit eat and spend their hard earned money…..

With that said an operator of a cafe in Minnesota was so pissed about having to pay a higher minimum wage that he took it out on his customers…….

A new “minimum wage fee” tacked on to receipts at a Minnesota restaurant is proving hard for customers to stomach.

Facebook users are bombarding Oasis Café, an eatery in Stillwater, Minnesota, with negative reviews, many vowing to never eat there again, after the owners began adding a 35-cent surcharge below the tax on bills this week.

“If you need to raise prices, so be it,” Ryan Stegeman, a University of Minnesota student, wrote in a one-star review hidden by the administrator of the Oasis Café Facebook page. “But to blame it on a fair minimum wage law is petty.”

Take a look at his attempt…….

minimum wage fee

This guy is an idiot!  Because he wanted to be a smart ass he may well have killed his business.  Social media will make the Oasis cafe the place NOT to be seen.  Stupid is destroying your livelihood to make a petty political statement is the height of STUPIDITY!  If you want to cover the extra cost then figure it into the dish and let the patrons know what is being done and why…….but this….A FLAMING MORON!

He has taken his wanker out a slammed it in the front door…..

Iraq: Why O Why?

By now every red blooded neocon is sitting in the corner and jerking off on his iPhone and by now we all know that we will return to Iraq….at least from the air….now now.

So much has happened in Iraq in the last couple of months….the rise of ISIS, all the sectarian bloodshed and the Kurds moving loser to independence…..with all that occurring….why did Obama pick this moment to re-start the air war in Iraq?

Good question, right?

Newser) – President Obama gave the green light last night for the US military to launch airstrikes in Iraq, but why now? Some explanations:

  • Two-fold mission: The US has already dropped food and supplies to Iraqis trapped on Mount Sinjar by extremist fighters from the Islamic State, or ISIS, and it may drop more. As for the airstrikes, targeted ones may be necessary near the mountain to “break the siege” there, says Obama, and allow more help to arrive and avert a “genocide.” The bigger reason for the possible airstrikes, however, seems to be to halt the advance of the extremist fighters in the north.
  • ‘Line in the sand’: Though the US did not intervene as the Islamic State swept across much of Iraq in recent weeks, the city of Irbil in northern Iraq “appears to be a line in the sand,” writes Dan Lamothe in the Washington Post. It’s the Kurdish capital, and the US has diplomats and military advisers stationed there among the American allies. (The Islamic State also reportedly controls the country’s largest dam, in the northern city of Mosul.)
  • How far? “The question arises: How far is Mr. Obama willing to go?” writes Peter Baker in the New York Times. Obama said “there is ‘no American military solution’ to the Iraqi insurgency, pointing again to the need for a new politically inclusive government in Baghdad. What he might do if that fails he did not say. And while aides stressed this is a narrow mission, they acknowledged scenarios in which it could expand.”
  • Reversal: “The return to military engagement in Iraq is a reversal for Mr. Obama, whose early opposition to the war that toppled Saddam Hussein, and his promise to end it, fueled his long-shot campaign for the White House,” write Carol E. Lee and Felicia Schwartz at the Wall Street Journal. “It also puts a spotlight on what has become a familiar feature of the Obama presidency, in which the leader of the most powerful military in the world has become defined by his reluctance to use it.”
  • Unity after all? “Ironically, ISIS’s campaign against the Kurds may end up helping unify the Iraqi state,” writes Joshua Keating at Slate. The Kurds have long been at odds with Nouri al-Maliki’s government, but now he’s ordering his air force to help them. “Iraq’s various factions, as well as Baghdad’s odd-couple patrons, Iran and the United States, may be forced to work together to confront the most serious threat the country has faced since the worst days of the Iraq war.”

Is this the beginning of a whole new chapter in the continuing story of America: Between Iraq and a Hard Place?

Israel: With A Friend Like This….. Who Needs An Enemy?

I have written many times that Israel is NOT our friend…..what we are is a tool they need to do whatever they want with impunity in the Middle East.  So far their plan is working expertly.  They have our politicians in a nut vice with campaign funding…..they have the media in their pocket and they have a mislead public in the US firmly on their side….for whatever reason whether Biblical or just ignorance.

There have been many cases where Israeli intelligence has spied on the country that was their friend.  The most notable is this guy name pollock who was caught then convicted for spying on the US for Israel….he was an American spying on his own country….what would you call him?

Then most recently it has come to light that Israeli intelligence was listening in on Sec. Kerry’s phone conversations during the last failed Middle East peace talks….and so far the US has only called Israel out in the smallest of terms….

And now with the Snowden hack job of the NSA more has come to light about our good friends in Israel…….as reported in Newsweek…

Israel was singled out in 2007 as a top espionage threat against the U.S. government, including its intelligence services, in a newly published National Security Agency (NSA) document obtained by fugitive leaker Edward Snowden, according to a news report Monday.

The document also identified Israel, along with North Korea, Cuba and India, as a “leading threat” to the infrastructure of U.S. financial and banking institutions.

In a section of the document headed “Foreign Intelligence, Counterintelligence; Denial & Deception Activities: Countering Foreign Intelligence Threats,” Israel was listed as a leading perpetrator of “espionage/intelligence collection operations and manipulation/influence operations…against U.S. government, military, science & technology and Intelligence Community” organs.

The term “manipulation/influence operations” refers to covert attempts by Israel to sway U.S. public opinion in its favor. In this, Israel has dubious company, according to the NSA: Other leading threats were listed as China, Russia, Cuba, Iran, Pakistan, North Korea, France, Venezuela and South Korea.

Now ….with a friend like this who needs enemies.

Israel is NOT the friend that most Americans think they are…..and have shown they will step on anybody to get what they want regardless of the tactics and the good old US of A is high on their list.

All this blind obedience to Israel needs to come to an end….they are NOT the friend and ally you thought they were……time to stop treating them as if they were something special….they are not and never were.
