We all know just how much the Right, all the Right, hates president Obama….now we can surmise that it is a wealth of reason…….only they know the real reason of such hatred……but today he is a socialist…..tomorrow he will be a Nazi……last week he was a secret Muslim and next week we will be back to the birther bullsh*t. Last month he was a dictator and next month he will be a wimp that wears Mommy pants………..

Based on The Hill article Democracy 21 has raised a legitimate concern and caught the attention of the OFA leadership which seems to be responding in a forthright manner. This isn’t to say that some quid pro quo isn’t going on here but Democracy 21’s view that the President should “shut down Organizing for Action or, alternatively, to end any relationship that you and your Administration have with OFA” seems on balance a bit excessive at this time

Agreed. They’re almost totally silent on his use of drones and NSA spying. But then they would because they supported it when Bush started it all.

I had to click three links, to get to the article you were referring to, where I finally found out what OFA stood for, (Organizing For Action)… I’m laughing because I didn’t know (or didn’t THINK I knew..) what it even was, which is why I had to keep clicking links to find out…
Once I found out what it stood for, I realized that I’ve been getting emails from them for almost seven years now… well, from the Obama folks, anyway.. I remember now they switched over to the new OFA name just after the last election….
I originally sent an email, once, to the White House, back in 2008, when they first solicited for public opinions, right after the first election, and have allowed them to continue sending them in the interests of following my standard policy of “keep your friends close, and your enemies closer…”…. I do this, in spite of the fact that the ONE email I sent them got my address sent out to at least a DOZEN left wing, progressive organizations, all of which now dun me for money, every fucking day…. MoveOn.org, Greenpeace, LGBT rights activists, and a number of others have sold my address to the spam demons, and they try to inundate me….
Fortunately, I know how to program my email filters well enough to block the worst spam, and I don’t mind deleting the others every day…. It keeps me abreast of what is on THEIR minds, in terms of whatever scam they’re going to try to pull over on the public next…. and gives me the tiny tingles that one gets from deleting trash…
It’s interesting, and satisfying, to note how MANY begging requests I get, trying to get me to send even a dollar for their money chests from OFA, aka the White House…. I guess, now that I’ve received a MINIMUM of one per day, every day since November of 2008, that would make it well over 2400 times they’ve been disappointed….
