We have all seen the photos and reports after a disaster when an aid truck shows up and is mobbed by people pushing and shoving to get some of the aid….but there is one place on earth that you would not expect to see such a mob action….CNN has a great report and be sure to watch the video carefully…….
These are the people that the GOP is ignoring completely in their pursuit of the almighty majority……I fear for my country and I fear for the Middle Class……
If America’s military might was not in decline, I would fear for the world, never mind just the middle classes.
The sort of arrogance that is diplayed by the wealthy political elite in the US is, in part, what has made America the target of terrorists.
I’m not for one moment suggesting it is the cause, but the US elite and its seemingly endless ability to behave so badly that many around the world detest perfectly decent Americans just because they ARE American. The elite’s skill, particularly in the US, at shooting itself in its metaphorical international foot at every opportunity has made America unpopular all over the place and it’s been soooooo-ooo much easier for the fanatics to drum up support as a result.
I mean, the immediate thought (possibly unjustified) is: if this is indicative of how the US treats its OWN people, imagine how they are with the Iraqis, or in Afghanistan.
It is noticeable that the vast majority of those wanting assistance were black. I can understand how some people will see it as a “black problem”, to which I would simply say that it was YOUR forefathers (not necessarily you personally, but you know what I mean) who brought the vast majority of the ancestors of these people to the US by force as slaves and now your generation is paying the cost – TOUGH! Live with it! Pay up like a man (or woman) and try to pretend you’re an adult for once!

Guess what? Just read any GOP proposal…..it is the way they want to treat the people…it is NEVER about the people….made to sound that way but NEVER…….and yet middle class Americans buy into the crap and now we are where we are…thanx to the lies…..
