Rage Against The Machine–An Editorial

Since I am a news junkie, I spend a lot of time watching and listening to news and this morning I heard something on the Tube that drove my into a fit…….it seems that New York, not sure if it was city, county or state or all of the above, has passed a law banning school cake sales…….it seems that there is yet another bored housewife organization out there….the National Association Against Obesity.

This is one of those groups that has jumped on the bandwagon against child obesity….now they have successfully got the New York to do away with cake sales at schools that would raise money for different activities…..Okay I have a problem with all this crap!

The average dress size in the US is 14 and if these skinny little shits have their way then everyone will have to become a size 4 or 5.  This whole fascination with thin is just sickening…..

There are many people, especially in the media that are all for the controlling of a child’s diet……this should be the parents job to see that their children eat properly and are educated on proper nutrition….yes, schools can do this also as a part of the health curricula….but ultimately it is the responsibility of the parent to feed their child….sorry there is that word that most Americans do not want to face…their personal responsibility.   Now they are giving the state the right to dictate diet to their children and the same group of mental midgets are the ones that bitch about government intrusion into their private lives.

There is a wealth of “organizations” out there that have been formed to fight this cause or that….where is the outrage at the slutty clothes that Mylie, “trainwreck” Cyrus is selling to their kids?  Where is the outrage at the size 0 models that are having such a horrible  influence on their children?  Just where is the Goddamn outrage?

Here is another question for you….what if the parents send a cupcake in junior’s lunch….will it be confiscated?  Will we have to find funding for a food police at our schools?

You silly people are just too amusing for words…..you allow a high paid lobbyist decide what is best for you and your family and yet you sit a bitch about how the government is all up in your business these days…the American people get more ridiculous as the years go by.

Okay, dipsticks……make up your feeble little minds….either get out of other people’s lives or let the government dictate everything to you….then a/holes you will truly have something to whine about.

And if Daddy spent less time on the golf course and in sports bars and more time taking care of Momma…then maybe these sanctimonious women would be happy enough to stay out of others lives.  But then maybe Daddy is NOT capable of taking care of Momma,  that could explain their obsession with trying to control others lives.

Would A Coup Work?

I know I am an old fart, but did anyone see the Burt Lancaster movie, 7 Days in May?  No?  Well there is a guy that apparently saw the movie and thinks it is a pretty good idea.

There have been the nuts with weapons at public gatherings, there has been talk of states secession, there have been websites that call for the death of a Prez and now the nuts have another voice.

This nut is named  John L. Perry and thanks to Media Matters for finding and pointing out this stuff.

There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic.

America isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it.

Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a “family intervention,” with some form of limited, shared responsibility?

Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.

Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.

And here’s a copy of the column Newsmax removed.

The article has since been removed from NewsMax and a statement issued that this guy is an unpaid blogger, but if you check the back issues of this publication …this unpaid guy has lots of by-lines….just saying……

When I first saw this article I immediately thought of the movie and then of Blackwater…I mean it is the perfect private army for such a chore…..just saying……

I have said this before…..it is time for politicians and their spokespeople to start acting like adults…..somewhere the leadership of both parties needs to step up and tell their member to shut the f*ck up!  It is beyond time to put petty bickering behind us and make these morons go about what we pay them for……governing…..

How Immediate Is Any Secession Talk?

We have all heard weird and garbled BS that Gov. Perry of Texas has uttered about secession…..but is he alone?  Or is there a case being made elsewhere?  Even the “talented” Lou Dobbs seems to be promoting the idea of secession, which shoulkd not be a big surprise since he has demonized immigrants, czars and a president’s citizenship.

A group calling itself  Tenth Amendment Center  is publishing articles that are notably slanted toward the the concept of secession.

“Decentralization for Socialists: A Brief Primer,” reprinted from LewRockwell.com. The essay argued “a peaceful, just, and democratic solution to a centuries-old problem” would be to “[l]et the people of each sovereign state decide their own fate.” The essayist argued strongly in favor of “decentralization” and bemoaned “the amount of time the modern statists, particularly on the Left, spend labeling the idea of decentralization and secession as ‘kooky.’ ” [Tenth Amendment Center website, posted 8/25/09]

“State sovereignty is a long-standing American tradition.” In a partially republished Charleston City Paper commentary by Jack Hunter, Hunter cited Kirkpatrick Sale, “author and director of the Mulberry Institute, a pro-secession think tank,” as saying, “Of course, it is true that the particular secession of 1861-65 did not succeed, but that didn’t make it illegal or even unwise. It made it a failure, that’s all. The victory by a superior military might is not the same thing as the creation of a superior constitutional right.” Hunter added, in the part of his commentary reprinted on the Tenth Amendment Center’s website: “Sale raises a good point. If the Founding Fathers had lost the American Revolution to Great Britain, would the colonial’s quest to secede from England have been decided forever, all because of a military loss? The idea that the U.S. could still be an outpost of the British Empire is one that many today would find as laughable as some find secession.” [Tenth Amendment Center website, posted 5/19/09]

“Guns, Gold, Secession.” The post by contributor Karen De Coster praised recent state legislative activity, in which “[t]wenty-eight states are invoking the law of the land, the U.S. Constitution, by rolling out legislation to assert their sovereignty as free states in order to keep from being undermined by the never-ending swarm of unrestrained federal decrees.” De Coster argued that “[g]uns are the tools with which you defend yourself, not only from the local criminal who wants what you have, but even more so, they provide free men with the capability for physical resistance from a federal government whose expansion of powers and oppressive tactics are out of control.” And, the post concluded, “The only way to get this oppressive tyrant — known as the federal government — off our back is to break away from it and start anew.” [Tenth Amendment Center website, posted 4/5/09]

“If At First You Don’t Secede.” A “guest commentary” by “VirginiaConservative” argued that “[s]ecession, in my mind, serves as final tool to bulwark against the threat of tyranny. … It should serve as a last resort to advance the cause of liberty, freedom, and self-determination.” While the author described secession as an “extreme option” and expressed “hope that American government can be restored rather than broken apart,” the author concluded: “If we lay aside or are stripped of the principles and values under which this nation was founded, then I have little choice but to say, ‘If at first you don’t secede…’ ” [Tenth Amendment Center website, posted 2/3/09]

As you can see, there is more talk about the idea of secession than the ramblings of a moronic governor…should we as a country talk all the talk seriously?  Or maybe just ignore them and they will slither back under the rocks from which they crawled.

These “:Tenthers” like to say that the Constitution is the rule, but yet they would break up the United States of America with all the secession talk.  May I remind them that there is more to the US Constitution than the 10th amendment.
