I know I am an old fart, but did anyone see the Burt Lancaster movie, 7 Days in May? No? Well there is a guy that apparently saw the movie and thinks it is a pretty good idea.
There have been the nuts with weapons at public gatherings, there has been talk of states secession, there have been websites that call for the death of a Prez and now the nuts have another voice.
This nut is named John L. Perry and thanks to Media Matters for finding and pointing out this stuff.
There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic.
America isn’t the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn’t mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it.
Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a “family intervention,” with some form of limited, shared responsibility?
Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.
Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.

When I first saw this article I immediately thought of the movie and then of Blackwater…I mean it is the perfect private army for such a chore…..just saying……
I have said this before…..it is time for politicians and their spokespeople to start acting like adults…..somewhere the leadership of both parties needs to step up and tell their member to shut the f*ck up! It is beyond time to put petty bickering behind us and make these morons go about what we pay them for……governing…..
I can understand any American’s fear of socialism and I can equally understand how many liberal Americans are unafraid because they’ve never experienced socialism and raw capitalism unrestrained as the Bush crew ran it is both dire and disgusting.
Trust me, socialism really IS absolutely disastrous and crap! Socialist ideals are difficult to argue with and, as I’ve said many times – it’s not the principles I disagree with, it’s the practice of it, encouraging as it does more and more complex,detailed and usually inept interference in the daily lives of ordinary people where government has no bloody right to be! You’ve seen the results of allowing PC to run riot and socialism is PC on goddam speed – it really is!
All that said (and I know I always do say it, but if you haven’t lived with it, it’s hard to believe), to suggest that what Obama is about it creating a Marxist state is simply so far from reality it’s off the fucking radar!

Morning Quin….the problem is that the right has used socialism to scare the American public for decades….the problem is what they call socialism is really state capitalism…..Americans cannot tell one from the other…they are afraid but do nothing to understand what they are afraid of……it is stupidity they should fear more than anything else.
Believe me…I can find these Looney Tunes and try to point out their fallacies…my grandfather use to say “when you teach a pig to dance…you waste your time and piss off the pig”……
PS – asking the majority of politicians to behave like adults is a bit like asking an average three year to describe quantum physics!
