Since I am a news junkie, I spend a lot of time watching and listening to news and this morning I heard something on the Tube that drove my into a fit…….it seems that New York, not sure if it was city, county or state or all of the above, has passed a law banning school cake sales…….it seems that there is yet another bored housewife organization out there….the National Association Against Obesity.
This is one of those groups that has jumped on the bandwagon against child obesity….now they have successfully got the New York to do away with cake sales at schools that would raise money for different activities…..Okay I have a problem with all this crap!
The average dress size in the US is 14 and if these skinny little shits have their way then everyone will have to become a size 4 or 5. This whole fascination with thin is just sickening…..
There are many people, especially in the media that are all for the controlling of a child’s diet……this should be the parents job to see that their children eat properly and are educated on proper nutrition….yes, schools can do this also as a part of the health curricula….but ultimately it is the responsibility of the parent to feed their child….sorry there is that word that most Americans do not want to face…their personal responsibility. Now they are giving the state the right to dictate diet to their children and the same group of mental midgets are the ones that bitch about government intrusion into their private lives.
There is a wealth of “organizations” out there that have been formed to fight this cause or that….where is the outrage at the slutty clothes that Mylie, “trainwreck” Cyrus is selling to their kids? Where is the outrage at the size 0 models that are having such a horrible influence on their children? Just where is the Goddamn outrage?
Here is another question for you….what if the parents send a cupcake in junior’s lunch….will it be confiscated? Will we have to find funding for a food police at our schools?
You silly people are just too amusing for words…..you allow a high paid lobbyist decide what is best for you and your family and yet you sit a bitch about how the government is all up in your business these days…the American people get more ridiculous as the years go by.
Okay, dipsticks……make up your feeble little minds….either get out of other people’s lives or let the government dictate everything to you….then a/holes you will truly have something to whine about.
And if Daddy spent less time on the golf course and in sports bars and more time taking care of Momma…then maybe these sanctimonious women would be happy enough to stay out of others lives. But then maybe Daddy is NOT capable of taking care of Momma, that could explain their obsession with trying to control others lives.
Hmmm…. I agree with the sentiments (you just know I would, I’m sure).
However, if I’ve converted it right, that average dress size is WAY too big to be healthy, just as size zero is way too thin (to be attractive too, but that’s another issue).
Far too many Americans are like far too many Brits – overweight and unfit. That’s because of over eating and under exercising. It isn’t school cake sales that encourage kids to become obese – it’s TV, computer games, car rides everywhere, and gluttony. Sadly though, that’s the parents I’m talking about – the kids simply follow the example set for them.

Size 14 is not really that big unless you are 4 ft. 8 in.—-I agree that it is the parents that need the ass wiping…..and we have way too many busy bodies that have nothing to do….I say let them get a job or turn tricks in the afternoon…..My favorite joke:
A kid is eating candy on a park bench…a priest sits down next to him and watches….finally the priest said, “you know that candy is not good for you?”
Kid ignores him
Priest says a gain….”That much candy will make you sick and unhealthy”

Now THAT I’ll go along with totally. Just one small thing I think I should say though – if, IF you wind up with a public healthcare system, they’ll want to endlessly save money (your money, but that won’t be mentioned) by having you do everything they say you SHOULD do to stay healthy – like they know anything at all about anything… Just saying 😈
And your saying is spot on as usual…..the GOP as part of their plans are emphasizing healthy lifestyle and preventative medicine…..it will put the blame for bad health on the choices we make and insurance companies could possibly profit from those decisions…..just a thought.
I think somebody’s bound to profit, whatever – just not you, me and the guy in the street!
Oh, and one other thought, although the letters are different Democrat simply equals Republican spelt backwards (if you get my drift) (and both=asshole)
