Editorial: America Loses!

First, I have had enough of the CRAP!

Does anyone remember the “Miracle On Ice” in the 1980 Olympics?  The USA defeated USSR in hockey and the whole country celebrated and there was a pride there….a pride of our country was number one.

Does anyone recall the campaign slogan “America First”?  Promises that everything American would be put above everything else…usually idle promises but the sentiment is good.

I was going to leave the whole olympic thing alone…but there comes a time when you just cannot ignore the crap any longer……and that time is NOW!

I am sure that you have heard all the political noise about the trip that the president took to Copenhagen…..that the Obamas were a cancer or that the president was caring nothing for the troops….and on and on…….

I want to go on record saying that I feel the country is becoming pathetic place.  Why?  When the decision by the Olympic committee was made to give the 2016 olympic games to Rio, there were right wing media people  applauded the decsion….they applauded that the US LOST the bid!  Then there was a conservative summit going on and they also applauded the lose…this is CRAP!

Why?  These ass wads hate Obama so much that they are happy to see the US lose just to make the president look bad and possibly gain some minor political advantage…this also is CRAP!

Recently that whack job from Minnesota called for an investigation of members of Congress, liberals, for being un-American….maybe we should pay closer attention to those people that want the US to fail only because they dislike the president.  This is HATE!

What happened to “My country…Love or leave it”?  Or how “America–Right or Wrong”?  Maybe next time your hear one of these sanctimonious assholes talk about how much they love the US….then remind them of this day and that they are Goddamn LIARS!

A Butt Bomb?

This post is about a guy that just exploded onto the world stage………

Are you kidding me?  Did someone actually have a bomb in his ass?  What was he thinking?

I usually try to avoid making comments on anyone’s actions, for I have done some really stupid things in my life, but DAMN…this one cries for comment.  Last week there was a story that takes the cake.

[Al Arabiya Latest] Al Arabiya television broadcast on Tuesday a recording of the telephone conversation between Saudi Arabia’s security chief, Prince Mohammad bin Nayef, and the suicide bomber, Abdullah Hassan Tali Assiri, who tried to assassinate him in Jeddah late on Thursday.

Assiri called the prince and asked for a meeting saying he repented for his participation in terrorist activities and wanted to give himself up to the authorities. The phone conversation was around five minutes long and in it Assiri told Prince Mohammad that he wanted to “explain everything.” The prince is renowned for his anti-terrorism work in the kingdom, where he encourages militants to come forward.

Assiri goes on to ask the prince for a plane and tells him he will bring his brother along with him. The prince sounded compassionate and said he would try his best to sort things out. Before hanging up, Assiri asked the prince for forgiveness and the prince told him:

“Don’t ask me to forgive you. You are our sons. We want to win you back and make sure no one is abusing you.”Upon meeting the prince, Assiri detonated his explosives in an attempt to assassinate the prince. He succeeded only in killing himself as the prince was only slightly wounded.

There it is…yes…it was a BUTT BOMB!

I apologize….but I had to laugh when I saw this story….IT WAS A BUTT BOMB!

I have heard of explosive diarrhea….but a BUTT BOMB!…… if this is the type of thinking the terrorists are resorting to, then I say we do not have too much to fear….it was a BUTT BOMB!

We can say that this yo-yo was , if nothing else, creative…….but a BUTT BOMB!  And a permanent cure for hemorrhoids.  And now he will go through all eternity in Paradise being the butt (pun intended) of jokes.

Pakistan Flexes Its Muscle

What little muscle they have to flex.

We all know that al-Qaeda is holding up in Northwest Pakistan and the Pakistanis are slow to handle that situation.  The US has said it will pursue the bad guys anywhere, anytime and to do their best to break the terrorists back.

Anti war.com is reporting:

The United States reportedly delivered an ultimatum to Pakistan’s government during last week’s G20 meeting, demanding that the government move against the so-called “Quetta shura,” a group of former Afghan government officials the US insists are hold up in the city and threatening to attack the city with both drones and potentially ground troops if Pakistan didn’t.

Tensions between the US and Pakistan are on the rise, and Pakistani Army Chief General Parvez Kayani is cautioning that the nation’s military will not tolerate any US attacks against Balochistan Province.

Beginning to launch drone strikes in Balochistan would have serious ramifications, however. Though the FATA attacks have angered the local populace, the tribal areas are frankly not high priority for most Pakistanis. Balochistan, however, is a proper province, and Quetta is a significant city. If American missiles start raining down on Quetta, the whole nation is likely to take notice, and not in a good way. Such attacks may also rile the Baloch separatist movement, particularly if the national government is no better able to halt them than they are in Waziristan.

I can hear Scooby-Doo in my head saying, “Rut Ro”!

Things could get very tense and very ugly if the US takes it upon itself to attack with drones.  Our relations with Pakistan is dicey at best….they will gladly take all the cash we throw at them to fight AQ, but it is another thing for us to expect results for our investment.

Yet another test for Obama in the making….how will he handle it?
