In the past, there had seem to be a grace period, a honeymoon, for the incoming president.  He was given time to put his administration together and to get all his ducks in a row.  But it appears that there was never going to be a honeymoon from president-elect Obama.

The media is relishing in the creation of a story out of something that is a no story.  The media pundits are constantly saying that they believe that Obama is clean of any wrong doing in the Blago-gate, but continue to attack his integrity.

There was NEVER gonna be a honeymoon for Obama.  The Repubs and the media cannot waste time on the facts, they need to create a scandal where there is none.  Repubs had to make this all up, why?  They have nothing to offer the American people, no direction, no leadership, nothing.  This is their opportunity to appear revelent–they are not!

Anyone that reads my writings will know that I am not a cheerleader for Obama, but in this case I will come to his defense.  All these questions from the media and Repubs is not news, it is however, business as usual…..personal attacks and partisanship.  No change there.

The Repubs are playing the same game they always play…hyper-partisanship.  They will try to keep the spotlight off of themselves as much as possible.  So far, I see nothing that will bring the change that all have promised.

So far in Washington I see new faces, but few new ideas.
