Misogyny is Facebook Approved

It appears that FB now allows women to be referred to as property.

I have never trusted Facebook or that prick Zuck and now this just shows that I was correct to distrust this prick.

Meta’s new hate speech rules — or lack thereof — now allow users to make shockingly misogynistic claims on the company’s social networks.

A perusal of the latest update to Meta’s “hateful conduct” rules reveals that a number of rules that barred users from comparing minorities to inanimate objects, including references to “women as household objects or property,” have been removed.

As part of the tech company’s transparency efforts, users are able not only to see updates to policies, but also a change log of what had been added and stricken out between updates.

For its January 7, 2025 update — which went into effect seemingly just after CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced yesterday a sweeping content overhaul that was derided as a clear effort to curry favor with president-elect Donald Trump — Meta’s confusing new rules strike out a number of formerly prohibited types of speech, much of which relates to women and gender minorities.

Among the strikethroughs in the “hateful conduct” policy change log is the removal of a section barring users from comparing people to inanimate objects or “non-human states.” That rule, now rescinded, banned referring to women “as household objects or property or objects in general.”

You don’t have to a be a scholar in feminist theory to know why it’s seriously messed up to refer to a woman as someone else’s property — and that’s without getting into the history of chattel slavery in the United States, when white men owned and abused Black women for hundreds of years.

In the age of Trump 2.0, the concept of a man “owning” a woman is a logical — and terrifying — endpoint of the so-called “trad wife” movement, which seeks to reinstate traditional gender roles by will or by force. It’s also the undercurrent of the anti-choice push that the president-elect’s cronies hope to enact further once he takes office again in a few weeks.

That same regressive and misogynistic energy also seems to be on display in another peculiar removal from Meta’s new hateful conduct policy.

While the policy used to ban “generalizations that state inferiority” based on physical appearance and sexual activity — like calling people “slut,” “whore,” or “pervert,” per the old rules — the new overhaul now simply prohibits “insults” about character.

Though the new update added language saying that users should not post allegations about another person’s “sexual promiscuity or other sexual immorality,” it’s unclear what the difference between that addition and the exclusion of the “slut” and “whore” language would be, and we’ve reached out to Meta for clarification about that.

Within the context of Zuckerberg’s newfound Trump fandom, meanwhile, this policy overhaul feels very much like the “grab ’em by the pussy“-era misogyny of the president-elect’s 2016 campaign — and Meta has a lot of explaining to do if it wants the women who use its platforms to believe any different.

For the life of me I cannot see why anyone would use or continue to use this platform…..he has his subscribers by the nuts and they love it.

How sick is that?

Then I read an op-ed about time to pull the plug on FB…..I have been saying that for years…..please do it….and do it NOW!

There’s a guy named Christopher Langan who claims, because of his alleged super-high IQ, to be the smartest person in the United States. And maybe he is—I have no idea because I am decidedly not. But when Langan appeared in 2008 on the TV quiz show 1 vs 100, he fell short of the top prize widely seen as a gimme for a genius. And what struck most wasn’t just that he failed to win the million dollars on offer, but that he was forced to use the “ask the mob” option so early in his appearance, turning to them twice at the $100,000 level to answer a question about Abbott & Costello.

I was reminded of this moment while reading the news of Meta’s decision to suspend its third-party fact checking program, and to replace it with a “Community Notes” system modeled on Elon Musk’s Twitter. (I will not call it “X” because that’s a stupid name and I see no reason to honor somebody’s request not to deadname their company when they refuse to do the same for their own daughter.)

This final part is for all those that are interested in getting out of Facebook….

Facebook has been a staple for many people for nearly — checks notes — two decades at this point. But there are several reasons why you might finally be considering deleting your account. Whether you’re concerned about privacy, want to reduce time spent on social media, or simply no longer find Facebook useful, deleting your account is a huge step toward a digital detox — one that comes with both benefits and consequences.

Before you go through with it, let’s go over what deleting Facebook means and how to do it on different devices.

When you delete your Facebook account, it’s permanent. Most of your data — including your profile, photos, posts, and videos — will be permanently removed without the possibility of recovery. Some residual information, like messages sent to friends, will remain visible in their inboxes. You’ll also lose access to any apps or services you logged into using your Facebook account, such as Spotify or Pinterest, so you need to reset your login credentials with the various platforms to continue using them.

I cannot vouch for the accuracy of this article for like I have said many times…I have NEVER been on Facebook so I do not need to delete my account….but if you try please let my readers know if it is accurate.

Women For Stability In Afghanistan

The US is working on removing itself from Afghanistan…well that was Trump’s grand plan…..but will Biden continue the push to end America’s longest ever war?

Most of us that follow international affairs know just how horribly women are treated in Afghanistan….they are little more than chattel…….

But there is a proposal for the rehabilitation of Afghanistan by making women the cornerstone of the reforms for the country.

Afghan women are closely watching as peace talks continue between their government and the Taliban. Women hope the talks will end decades of unabated violence, and not return them to a social, political, and economic prison from which there is no escape.

Afghanistan has made significant yet fragile gains over the past two decades. The country’s Constitution and political system ensure equality and human rights for all. Its economy has been working toward self-sustainability, and Afghan society has restored its rich tapestry of art, music, and culture — a legacy that the Taliban had erased.

But for Afghanistan to maintain its hard-won gains for women and girls and in human rights and democracy, the United States still must play a role in preventing the rise of extremism. It won’t be forever – the Afghan people should and will control their future. But at this pivotal juncture, continued support from the Biden Administration and the U.S. Congress are needed both for Afghanistan and for the security of the United States.

This means investing in programs dedicated to the education, economic empowerment, and leadership development of women and girls, including initiatives that address the specific effects of COVID-19. But the needs are broader than that, as national and economic stability also impact the lives of women and girls.

https://www.realclearworld.com/articles/2021/01/26/for_stability_in_afghanistan_investing_in_women_must_be_cornerstone_of_us_policy_657987.html

Seriously?

Once we leave the Taleban will fight on until they control the country and then women will be persecuted even more.

It is his concern.

In the 1990s the US turned its back on Afghanistan and all serious programs were underfunded and women took a backseat.

While I agree that women should be the cornerstone I would be remiss if I did not point out the reality on the ground.

The ultra-conservs will NOT allow women to progress.

The US and the think tanks cannot dictate to the Taleban…..that would be like a fart in a hurricane….

Sorry to be a downer on this….but these proposals need to be based in reality not some fanciful hope.

Army Of Sexy Soldiers….

I begin my weekend with a sincere thank you for the storm that decided to give the Mississippi Coast a break….but the same cannot be said for Louisiana….please keep their plight in your minds and help if you can.

Does anyone remember Qaddafi’s body guards?

Gaddafi\'s female bodyguards

Since the early 1970s, an eye-popping cadre of 30 women have shadowed and at times taken bullets for the man who is today, at 68, the Arab world’s most senior dictator.

The women pledge oaths of loyalty to Gaddafi, including a vow of virginity, according to reports. The female bodyguards are not just for show. In 1998, one died and two were injured when Gaddafi was attacked.

It’s a dangerous job and yet for most of the four decades that they have stood by Gaddafi, they have seemed as much his statement on style and gender politics as his security detail.

Sorry I shall get to the point……I bring up this piece of nostalgia because Qaddafi was not the only one to use the idea of these ladies……..

Seems the new king of Thailand, Rama X, has an army of sex soldiers….

Maha Vajiralongkorn, the 68-year-old king of Thailand, better known as Rama X, sits atop both a throne and the upper-most floor of a luxury hotel in a tiny ski village in the alpine regions of Germany. He fled there back in April. It’s his quarantine pad. (The king was granted a special dispensation by local German authorities that allowed the hotel to remain open, since all others in the town are closed due to COVID.) And because he’s royalty, he’s brought a private army with him.

But this army is no conventional fighting force. It’s a unit of 20 “sex soldiers.” They’ve been given the honorary title of “Sirivajirabhakdi,” which means “The Beautiful One Who Will Be Faithful to the King,” per Max Boddeker, a reporter at the German newspaper Bild

For the women called to serve their king, it’s both an honor and a privilege. Yet, in a society where women are subservient to men, honorable exploitation doesn’t seem all that honorable, just exploitative. As journalist and Thailand expert, Andrew MacGregor Marshall explains, “The concubines make a big gamble — with the hope of winning big. Some are happy to join and are hoping for riches and success for themselves and their families. … Others give in to the king’s pressure to join over fear of the consequences if they refuse.”

Extinction Of The White Dinosaur

It appears that there is a movement that sees the end of the rule of the old angry white man, the white dinosaur, but could this country finally be moving beyond the rule of the white man?

In opinion piece that covers this phenom……

https://johnpavlovitz.com/2019/01/04/the-extinction-of-the-white-american-dinosaur/

The election of so many women in the last election is part of the process of the extinction……the problem is that these women need to carve out their spot in politics and stick to their guns.

I look forward to these young freshman representatives embrace their destiny and make their mark on the people and the country.

I wish them luck!

The female guerilla fighters of the PKK | Middle East Eye

The news a month or so ago was about the 2 female Ranger trainees that made ot to the end and graduated….allowing them to proudly wear the Ranger tab on the uniform……

Even though these young ladies made it through the grueling Ranger process they will still NOT be allowed in combat……women have a way to go before the military is willing to allow them to fight alongside the men……

But across the world there are women fighting and dying alongside men in various conflicts……

If the media wants to celebrate women and their abilities in the military then may I suggest that they look NO further than the women fighting with the Kurds in the Middle East……

MEE meets female Kurdish Workers Party fighters in the mountains of Iraqi Kurdistan – and finds a diverse group united by a vision of freedom

Women are more than capable of handling armed conflict and performing their duties under pressure….then why be so Victorian in thought……let women prove themselves!

Twin Brothers, Different Fathers

I am always looking for something interesting or just plain weird to post on weekends…..my time to kick back and give the overworked mind a break……I found a good one people!

Back when I was working stiff I was employed by the state housing authority…..my best friend was a guy named Frank….we ran together and we told everybody that we were twin brothers of different mothers…….we got some interesting looks since I am white and Frank is black……but few challenged what we told them.

I bet you are wondering just what the Hell I am going on about….Am I right?

To answer your question…….

In just the third such court case in the country, a New Jersey judge has ruled a man is father to one twin while another man is father to the other. The children’s mother named a man, identified as “AS,” as the father of her twin girls, born in January 2013, when she applied for public assistance in Passaic County, the Star-Ledger reports. When she acknowledged that she’d had sex with another man within a week of her encounter with AS, a DNA test was conducted. It revealed what the New York Times calls “a tangled web of love and biology.” AS had fertilized one egg with 99.9% certainty; the other was fertilized by the other man during the same menstrual cycle. Judge Sohail Mohammed ruled AS must pay child support for only the child he fathered, totaling $28 a week.

Mohammed noted he found just two court cases related to the phenomenon, known as superfecundation, NBC New York reports. But it’s not quite that rare, per the New Jersey Law Journal. It references a 1997 article by identity testing expert Karl-Hans Wurzinger, who testified in this case, that put the number of reported paternity cases involving superfecundation at one in every 13,000. Indeed, the judge also said such instances are on the rise, citing factors like promiscuity, medically stimulated ovulation, and reproductive technologies (consider, for instance, a gay couple who both provide sperm and end up with twins). The ruling is “novel in that I don’t think this issue was on anyone’s radar to even question a client about,” says a family law expert with the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Will make awkward family reunion……..can you smell a lawsuit?

Thoughts?

“I Like Big Butts”

Sir Mix-a-lot wailing in the corner…….the song got me thinking about what he was saying…..why is it that most men like  “junk in the trunk”?

Okay Ladies I am not a pig I promise…..I am just honest……

I am an old fart and he been girl watching for too many years to count….no I am not one of those pigs that whistles and yells out crap….but I do  enjoy watching the ladies glide by……(at least I admit it)…….

Why do we like those curves?

A new study finds that there’s an evolutionary reason men prefer women with a “theoretically optimal angle of lumbar curvature.” Another way of putting it? Even prehistoric guys probably liked a gal with a curvy backside. Researchers at the University of Texas at Austin ran a two-part study, published in Evolution and Human Behavior: In the first part, men rated the attractiveness of manipulated images of spinal curves; most best liked a 45.5-degree curve from back to buttocks. In the second part, men were shown pictures of women with different buttock sizes—and they still most preferred the ones whose spinal curvature was closest to the ideal, meaning it’s the lumbar curvature they like, not just “big butts,” researchers say in a press release. But “men may be directing their attention to the butt and obtaining information about women’s spines, even if they are unaware that that is what their minds are doing,” the lead researcher explains, per Medical Daily.

As for that evolutionary reason for the preference, researchers attribute it to “prehistoric influences.” Explains the lead researcher, “This spinal structure would have enabled pregnant women to balance their weight over the hips. These women would have been more effective at foraging during pregnancy and less likely to suffer spinal injuries. In turn, men who preferred these women would have had mates who were better able to provide for fetus and offspring, and who would have been able to carry out multiple pregnancies without injury.” Researchers note that this preference has evolved over thousands of years. “This adds to a growing body of evidence that beauty is not entirely arbitrary, or ‘in the eyes of the beholder,'” says a co-author, “but rather has a coherent adaptive logic.”

And there you have it!

Did that creep you out?  Well I can top that…….

You should enjoy having fun with people and you should not be afraid of contact.” Normally, a line like that in a help-wanted ad would raise red flags, but not so much in this case. A German social media company that specializes in the sex industry is looking for a brothel tester, reports Newsweek. The ideal applicant has a college degree, speaks more than one language, and has experience visiting brothels. The company—called Kaufmich, which roughly translates to “Buying me”—says the main point to rate safety and health standards and emphasizes that sex (and the ranking of sex workers) is “only a part of the job,” reports CNBC. For the record, both men and women can apply.

Ladies–I promise I will post something along these lines for you to enjoy……that is if I can find something that is not offensive……

The Horror! A Plus Size Model

A couple of years ago I wrote a post about what happen to real women…..I admit it….I am an old fart and enjoy girl watching……but these days women seem to think they need NO curves and are a caricature of a stick person…….

I ask again what is so damn wrong with having curves?

There is debate going on about a “plus size” model……..

Sports Illustrated’s vaunted Swimsuit Issue hits newsstands Monday, and there’s a whole lot of buzz being generated about one of the bikini-clad models who appears in it: Ashley Graham, who happens to be a size 16. She marks the first inclusion of a plus-size model in the edition, though it’s important to note that Graham isn’t part of the editorial but stars in an ad for swimwear brand swimsuitsforall (whose website features plenty more shots). As Marissa Payne puts it at the Washington Post, “Hey, small steps lead to big steps sometimes.”

“I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too,” the 27-year-old tells Us Weekly, which reports Graham is no stranger to big-name magazines: She’s appeared in Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and Latina. A 2013 Forbes article sheds some light on what a moneymaker the issue has become. Launched in 1964, it brings in $1 billion (yes, billion) in revenue generated by everything from ad sales to sales of a namesake calendar.

Okay sports fans…..tell me what is so “plus” about this young lady?

Sorry she is far more sexy than some twig that has the same measurements from top to bottom……that has to stand up twice to make a shadow….or that if turn sideways and sticks out her tongue then she looks like a zipper……

Am I wrong?

Objectifying female fighters | openDemocracy

I have been reading stuff about the women that are engaged in the fight against ISIS and wanted to comment………

In the fight against ISIS there has been a wealth stories about the Kurdish women that are fighting alongside the men……

My problem with these stories is that the MSM makes out that it is some sort of miracle that women are capable of this action……

I am not sure where the MSM has been but women have a long history of fighting for the “cause”…….it is not a modern day phenomenon….women, all women, are more than capable of handling the rigors of war.

Please read and weigh in in this stuff……
