How To Mend A Broken Bill

The Senate passed the Trump bill and now it goes to the House and it could be an interesting turn…..there are some Reps that are not so supportive as Donny would like….what to look for in the coming battle of idiots….

Republican lawmakers wobbling on President Trump’s tax and spending cuts bill went to the White House to be personally lobbied on Wednesday. In addition to the sales job, they received signed merchandise and Oval Office photos, the New York Times reports. A recurring argument made by the president was: “Don’t give the Democrats a win. Don’t play into their hands.” Rep. Tim Burchett posted a video later. “The president was wonderful, as always,” Burchett said about his encounter with the president. “Informative, funny, he told me he likes seeing me on TV, which was kind of cool,” Burchett said. The Tennessean told the Times his name was misspelled on the placard at his seat in the Cabinet Room, so Trump filled in the missing “r.” Other developments:

  • Plus one: GOP Rep. Warren Davidson voted against the bill in May but said Wednesday he’s now a yes. “This bill isn’t perfect, but it’s the best we’ll get & includes major wins,” he posted on X, per the AP. He gave as examples the bill’s Medicaid work requirements and enhanced food stamp work requirements.
  • No rush: House Republicans made no progress Wednesday on actual votes on the measure. They delayed a preliminary vote for more than five hours to allow time to win over more members and for some Republicans to make it back to town, per the Washington Post. Six members of the House Freedom Caucus were withholding their votes on an amendment during negotiations. “We’re stalled,” said Rep. Barry Loudermilk. Several steps remain before a final vote.
  • Another president lobbies: Barack Obama called on Americans to contact their representatives to vote against the bill. “More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act,” Obama, who signed the ACA into law, posted on X, per the Post. “If the House passes this bill, it will increase costs and hurt working class families for generations to come.”
  • Plan C: If the House changes the bill as passed by the Senate, the chambers could keep trading versions until one house accepts the other’s legislation. That could go on indefinitely. Or the bill could go to a conference committee of members from both sides, who theoretically would agree to a final version and send it to both chambers for a vote. Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Rep. Chip Roy already have said they want a conference, per the Times. “The Senate doesn’t get to be the final say on everything,” Roy said Wednesday.

It is that simple….and now we will hear all about the battle in the MSM……..you decide what will be the best for the country for those morons in DC do not care.

But we may have to wait for the fourth break is upon them and they are anxious to get home and suck to the big donors.

That “One Big Beautiful Bill”

What is That?  A faint glimmer of bi-partisanship?

Do not get too excited this passed a committee of the House…..not finished yet.

This was the bill that rumors flew around about it would gut Medicaid and other needed benefits to pass on more assistance to the wealthy that as we know are suffering badly right?

Here is what we know so far….

Republicans advanced their massive tax cut and border security package out of a key House committee during a rare Sunday night vote as deficit hawks who blocked the measure two days earlier reversed course after gaining commitments on the package’s spending cuts, the AP reports. Speaker Mike Johnson met with Republican lawmakers shortly before the meeting, telling reporters that the changes agreed to were “just some minor modifications. Not a huge thing.” Democrats on the panel pressed for more details about the changes that Republicans had agreed to in the private negotiations. But Rep. Jodey Arrington, the chairman of the House Budget Committee, said he could not give those details.

(good one…..why should those that will possibly suffer at the hands of this bill know what it says?)

Deliberations continue at this very moment,” Arrington said. “They will continue on into the week, and I suspect right up until the time we put this big, beautiful bill on the floor of the House.” The first time Republicans tried advancing the bill out of the House Budget Committee, deficit hawks joined with Democratic lawmakers in voting against reporting the measure to the full House. Five Republicans voted no, one on procedural grounds, the other four voicing concerns about the bill’s impact on federal budget deficits. On Sunday evening, the four voicing concerns about the bill’s impact on the deficit voted present, and the measure passed by a vote of 17-16. Johnson is looking to put the bill on the House floor before the end of the week.

“This is the vehicle through which we will deliver on the mandate that the American people gave us in the last election,” he said on Fox News Sunday. If the bill passes the House this week, it would then move to the Senate, where Republican lawmakers are also eyeing changes that could make final passage in the House more difficult. Johnson said: “The package that we send over there will be one that was very carefully negotiated and delicately balanced, and we hope that they don’t make many modifications to it because that will ensure its passage quickly.”

“Mandate of the people”….if that is truly then the ‘people’ are suffer from gross ignorance or to put a more polite term on it…..massively uninformed.

The only mandate that this House has is to make their wealthy patrons happy….you are a minor irritant to them.

There is more fireworks coming….so stay tuned and we will see where this goes.

But how will it effect your wallet?

President Donald Trump’s proposed “One Big Beautiful Bill” (OBBB) has stirred significant debate in Washington, D.C., and across the nation. This sweeping legislative package aims to extend and expand upon the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, introducing a series of tax reforms and spending adjustments that could have profound effects on American households. While proponents argue that the bill will stimulate economic growth and provide relief to taxpayers, critics warn of potential increases in the federal deficit and disproportionate benefits to the wealthy. Understanding the key components of this bill is essential for assessing its potential impact on your personal finances.

Hopefully you took the time to see how your wallet will fair with this bill that will affect the wealthy far more than you.

GOP’s Newest Spending Bill

It is the magical time again….the shutdown clock is ticking and the drama begins…..the Repubs have authored the newest version of their stupidity….

House Republicans on Saturday unveiled a bill to keep government funded for six months, a blueprint that would boost allocations for defense, make cuts elsewhere, but largely retain funding levels set last year by President Biden. Congress has to pass something before midnight Friday to avoid a government shutdown. The proposal would go around the usual budget process, shifting some of the power to set spending from the appropriations committees to the Trump administration, the Washington Post reports. Democrats immediately denounced the plan.

Rep. Rosa DeLauro, the top Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee said the bill is a “power grab for the White House and further allows unchecked billionaire Elon Musk and President Trump to steal from the American people,” per the Hill. Democrats said the continuing resolution would make it easier for Musk and his Department for Government Efficiency to slash the government and its employees. GOP staff members said the House leadership coordinated the bill and its release with the White House. Speaker Mike Johnson is moving toward a vote on Tuesday despite the lack of Democratic support, per the AP, trying to put the pressure on them. “I don’t like CRs,” Rep. Ralph Norman said. “But what’s the alternative? Negotiate with Democrats? No.”

The 99-page bill:

  • Increases spending: More would go toward veterans’ health care and defense. Republicans said the defense budget would be about $6 billion higher than in fiscal 2024 but below amounts previously agreed to for fiscal 2025.
  • Decreases spending: Non-defense programs would be cut by about $13 billion compared to fiscal 2024, Republicans said. The Internal Revenue Service would be hit, they said.
  • Excludes: Disaster relief for the recent fires in California, as well as funding for community projects that lawmakers deliver to their districts. There’s nothing in the bill about the debt ceiling issue.
  • Leaves intact: Benefits including the Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid programs aren’t touched. Those programs aren’t regularly reviewed by Congress, and funding continues. Most of government spending, in fact, is not addressed in the bill, per the AP.

At least for now the Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid will survive another day.  I was surprised to read that there is nothing in this about the debt ceiling….was that just an issue when Dems were in control?

The fun will begin when it goes to the Dems….and history tells us that they will pick at it…..but maybe they will play ball this time around…..looking for that elusive bi-partisanship.

Stay tuned….more to come….

The President….The Congress….A Clean Sweep

The votes were in and Trump won the general election by a substantial margin….and the country is screwed……The GOP too control of the Senate…..and the country is f*cked……and now the news the GOP has gained control of the House…..and the country is royally f*cked.

That’s right the news is in about the anticipated control of the House…..

Republicans have won enough seats to control the US House, completing the party’s sweep into power and securing their hold on US government alongside President-elect Donald Trump, the AP reports. A House Republican victory in Arizona, alongside a win in slow-counting California earlier Wednesday, gave the GOP the 218 House victories that make up the majority. Republicans earlier gained control of the Senate from Democrats. With hard-fought yet thin majorities, Republican leaders are envisioning a mandate to upend the federal government and swiftly implement Trump’s vision for the country.

When Trump was elected president in 2016, Republicans also swept Congress, but he still encountered Republican leaders resistant to his policy ideas, as well as a Supreme Court with a liberal majority. Not this time. When he returns to the White House, Trump will be working with a Republican Party that has been completely transformed by his “Make America Great Again” movement and a Supreme Court dominated by conservative justices, including three that he appointed.

Still, with a few races still uncalled the Republicans may hold the majority by just a few seats as the new Congress begins. Trump’s decision to pull from the House for posts in his administration—Reps. Matt Gaetz, Mike Waltz, and Elise Stefanik so far—could complicate Speaker Mike Johnson’s ability to maintain a majority in the early days of the new Congress. The Republican majority also depends on a small group of lawmakers who won tough elections by running as moderates. It remains to be seen whether they will stay onboard for some of the most extreme proposals championed by Trump and his allies.

And they now have a new bible….Project 2025….

The world awaits the damage that will be inflicted on it by a Trump administration….

A 10 Point Progressive Plan

College of Political Knowledge

2024 Election Series

As the election slowly grinds into the minds of our fellow citizens I would like to offer up a quote for them to consider…..

Political parties exist to secure responsible government and to execute the will of the people.

From these great tasks both of the old parties have turned aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare, they have become the tools of corrupt interests which use them impartially to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people.

To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.

The deliberate betrayal of its trust by the Republican party, the fatal incapacity of the Democratic party to deal with the new issues of the new time, have compelled the people to forge a new instrument of government through which to give effect to their will in laws and institutions.

Unhampered by tradition, uncorrupted by power, undismayed by the magnitude of the task, the new party offers itself as the instrument of the people to sweep away old abuses, to build a new and nobler commonwealth.

That is a quote from 1912 Progressive Party (Bull Moose)….it rings even more true today than in those days.

As the Congress slowly returns to what they pretend is normal…. Progressives in the country have released a 10 point plan going forward……list of 10 policy objectives….as usual Progressives have some great ideas but the so-called ‘centrist’ Dems will fight this plan tooth and nail and then there is the Repubs who cannot get behind anything that would benefit us peasants.

The plan is ambitious and very based on reality…..

A coalition of national progressive advocacy groups on Monday released a list of 10 policy objectives that it believes President Joe Biden should embrace to consolidate support for his high-stakes electoral rematch against presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.

The platform—released by Our Revolution, Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), and the State Democratic Party Progressive Network—frontloads the threat that Trump and the fascist movement at his back pose to basic freedoms and democracy itself.

“The 2024 presidential election presents a challenge for progressives to preserve and amplify our voice while fighting the most dangerous threat to U.S. democracy in our nation’s history,” reads the platform’s introduction. “Our best strategy to advance both goals is to become state and national Biden delegates at the state and national Democratic Party conventions, and to elect Joe Biden for a second term. Throughout this process, we must advocate for a progressive policy agenda that builds and expands upon progressive elements of President Biden’s original Build Back Better (BBB) plan.”

“With our support and voice,” the document adds, “progressives may persuade and enable President Biden to achieve more progressive policy objectives during his second term and prevent a fascist takeover.”

The first plank of the agenda urges Biden and the Democratic Party to “develop and repetitively use more aggressive messaging against and educate the public about the dangers of fascism including exposing and condemning Project 2025, the fascist blueprint for a second Trump administration.”

https://www.commondreams.org/news/progressive-coalition-platform

Like I said an ambitious plan and one that I will endorse whenever I can….but the real test will be those Progressives in Congress will they go bold or will the wimp out as they have done so many times before?

Then there is the ‘Progressive Promise’ from the Progressive Caucus in the House….

  1. Advancing justice, dignity, and peace for all.

At the Progressive Caucus, we believe that government must be the great equalizer of opportunity for everyone. We are committed to passing legislation that advances justice, dignity, and peace for all people.

  • Realizing the goal of a universal, high-quality, Medicare For All health care system for all.

  • Advancing the right of every American to retire with security and dignity.

  • Ending poverty and income inequality and securing a living wage for all people.

  • Protecting the fundamental right to organize.

  • Ending mass incarceration and advancing equal justice under the law.

  • Taking urgent, inclusive, and transformative action on climate change.

  • Upholding the fundamental reproductive rights of all people.

  • Ending our forever wars, cutting the bloated Pentagon budget, and prioritizing diplomacy.

  • Advancing humane, fair and just immigration laws.
  • Advancing racial justice and equity.

There is more so read on…..

For me these principles are more in line with my thinking than the mainstream Dem which is a little better than a conservative.

Sadly there is no major candidate that will fight for these principles in 2024…..instead we will have the usual corrupt POS that has plagued our system for 40+ years.

Will I have to go in search of an alternate candidate?

Does Another ‘Shutdown” Loom?

It is that time again….time for the drama and theatrics to begin again for the approaching funding to keep the government up and running….in other words the threat of a ‘shutdown’ is coming.

Here we go again…..but this time it is a bit different….the Far Right is trying desperately to impose the policies of voter suppression under the guise of preventing voter fraud which is a non-starter because there has never been in massive voter fraud.

The U.S. House of Representatives rejected a GOP resolution that would have punted a fight over government funding until after the next president takes office and pushed through a noxious voter suppression measure backed by Republican nominee Donald Trump.

The final vote was 202-220, with 14 Republicans joining nearly every member of the House Democratic caucus in voting against the legislation. GOP opponents of the bill included far-right lawmakers who want to slash spending.

Reps. Jared Golden (D-Maine), Don Davis (D-N.C.), and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.) broke with their party and backed the Republican continuing resolution, which would have largely extended government funding at current levels into March.

With Trump’s backing, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) agreed to attach to the continuing resolution the SAVE Act, legislation purportedly aimed at preventing noncitizens from voting—which is already illegal. Voting rights advocates have condemned the SAVE Act as an “unnecessary and dangerous” bill that would “make it harder for voters of color and naturalized citizens to register to vote.”

House Democrats said Wednesday that the failure of the GOP continuing resolution was an inevitable consequence of the party’s decision to push extremist spending bills instead of working on a bipartisan solution to government funding.

The government will shut down on October 1 unless Congress acts. Johnson said leading up to Wednesday’s vote that there is “no Plan B.”

https://www.commondreams.org/news/house-continuing-resolution

We are less than 10 days away from the spending deadline….will there be the usual confrontation and a deal struck hours before the deadline or will these twats get about doing what is necessary to keep this country moving?

I have no faith in either party to do what is right without the drama of a shutdown.

How about you?

Update:  As I was finishing this draft for today’s post I heard that the House came to a deal after all….

Congressional leaders announced an agreement Sunday on a short-term spending bill that will fund federal agencies for about three months, averting a possible partial government shutdown when the new budget year begins Oct. 1 and pushing final decisions until after the November election, the AP reports. Temporary spending bills generally fund agencies at current levels, but an additional $231 million was included to bolster the Secret Service after the two assassination attempts against Donald Trump, and additional money was added to aid with the presidential transition, among other things.

Lawmakers have struggled to get to this point as the current budget year winds to a close at month’s end. At the urging of the most conservative members of his conference, House Speaker Mike Johnson had linked temporary funding with a mandate that would have compelled states to require proof of citizenship when people register to vote. But Johnson abandoned that approach to reach an agreement, even as Trump insisted there should not be a stop-gap measure without the voting requirement. Bipartisan negotiations began in earnest shortly after that, with leadership agreeing to extend funding into mid-December. That gives the current Congress the ability to fashion a full-year spending bill after the Nov. 5 election, rather than push that responsibility to the next Congress and president.

In a letter to Republican colleagues, Johnson said the budget measure would be “very narrow, bare-bones” and include “only the extensions that are absolutely necessary.” “While this is not the solution any of us prefer, it is the most prudent path forward under the present circumstances,” Johnson wrote. “As history has taught and current polling affirms, shutting the government down less than 40 days from a fateful election would be an act of political malpractice.” House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries said Democrats would evaluate the bill in its entirety before this week’s vote, but with the agreement, “Congress is now on a bipartisan path to avoid a government shutdown that would hurt everyday Americans.”

Why was it without the drama this time?

They have an election to try and scuttle so they did not need the diversion of the spending bill to cope with.

More Wasted Time

The House of Representatives is nothing but a black hole of wasted time and energy….I have been saying this for years…..the Reps send more time passing stupid bills that usually go go nowhere and when they are not wasting that time they are wasting it on some lame ass Congressional hearing that is nothing more that a theater of the absurd….I give you the stupidity of the Fauci hearing.

But that is not what I am hear to rant about…..the bill to sanction the ICC.

In a 247-155 vote, the House passed a bill today that would impose sanctions on anyone who has assisted the International Criminal Court in its investigation of Israel’s conduct in Gaza, a group that could include U.S. allies like Germany and Japan that fund the tribunal.

The bill, titled the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act, aims to punish the ICC for its chief prosecutor’s recent decision to seek arrest warrants against several leaders from Israel and Hamas, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. More than 40 Democrats joined Republicans to back the proposal despite opposition from the Biden administration.

The bill, which faces an uphill battle in the Democrat-controlled Senate, would also sanction immediate family members of those targeted. The sanctions include bans on entering the U.S. and doing business with American companies or citizens.

“We cannot stand by and allow the court to do what it’s doing,” said Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), a lead sponsor of the legislation. Roy argues the proposal would send a strong message to the international community that the United States will not allow politicized cases against itself or its allies.

“This is a kangaroo court,” said Rep. Guy Reschentaler (R-Pa.), another sponsor of the bill. “To defend it is to defend an institution that is anti-American, anti-Israel and anti-semitic.”

The vote came just a day after the Biden administration announced that it opposed the bill. “There are more effective ways to defend Israel, preserve U.S. positions on the ICC, and promote international justice and accountability, and the Administration stands ready to work with the Congress on those options,” the White House said in a statement, leaving open the possibility of a compromise on sanctions against the court.

https://responsiblestatecraft.org/us-sanctions-icc/

This is a complete waste of time.

How much did this cost AIPAC?

This country has many problems in search of solutions and yet those we elect to better the nation spend their time pissing around with meaningless horse manure.

This is just an example of the do-nothing BS that the Reps psend their time and our money doing.

This is stupidity personified.

Why do we allow this sort of thing to continue?

Easy answer….MONEY!

And this corruption gets worse every year.

Dems To The Rescue

Freedom Caucus ideologue MTG has made it clear that she does not want Speaker Johnson to remain in the position and she will lead the charge to oust him from the speakership.

But it looks like her effort was dashed ……Johnson was saved by the Dems….

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s attempt to oust Speaker Mike Johnson was met with boos, laughter, and 359 votes against in the House on Wednesday, quelling the Georgia Republican’s long-threatened revolt. Greene’s measure won the support of only 10 other Republicans and 32 Democrats, 163 of whom backed keeping Johnson while seven voted present. GOP members booed as Greene introduced her measure earlier in the day, the Washington Post reports. When Majority Whip Steve Scalise immediately moved to kill it, nearly all members yelled their approval, with only the voices of Greene and GOP Rep. Thomas Massie heard to say “nay.” Laughter followed.

“This is the uniparty for the American people watching,” Greene said as she was being booed. Afterward, Johnson expressed appreciation to the members who declined to end his speakership after six months. “Hopefully, this is the end of the personality politics and the frivolous character assassination that has defined the 118th Congress,” he said. “It’s regrettable, it’s not who we are as Americans, and we’re better than this.” He had the support of Donald Trump, who posted online Wednesday that “this is not the time” for a motion to vacate. Trump called Johnson a “good man who is trying very hard,” per CBS News.

ohnson and Greene had met a couple of times this week, though he denied negotiating with her to keep the job. Demands by Greene and Massie, per the Post, included that Johnson act to:

  • Allow no more aid to be sent to Ukraine this year.
  • Put only bills on the floor that most Republicans support.
  • Move to defund all Justice Department investigations of Trump.
  • Pass a dozen individual spending bills or institute a 1% reduction across government agencies.

Johnson did not give the pair an answer.

Did Trump in his insistence that the GOP unite help save Johnson’s job?

Did the Dems save Johnson’s speakership out of the kindness in their hearts?

Did the Dems get anything for their help?

Is MTG done with her symbolic antics?

How much more time will be wasted in the attempts to make a Speaker resign?

Do they not realize that the country is circling the drain and they play games.

Once again please tell me what we pay these slugs to do.

Just Another Corrupt Dem

Go figure!

Nothing new here.

Since few seem to be interested in the whole 2024 thing……I will change gears for awhile.

Americans are beginning (finally) to see that there is very little different between Dems and Repubs in our Congress…..both can be bought.

A senior Dem in the Senate, Menendez, was caught red handed and now a prominent Dem in the House is accused of bribery…..

Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas and his wife were indicted on conspiracy and bribery charges and taken into custody Friday in connection with a federal probe into ties between American business leaders and the former Soviet republic of Azerbaijan, per the AP. From 2014 to 2021, Cuellar and his wife accepted nearly $600,000 in bribes from an Azerbaijan-controlled energy company and a bank in Mexico, and in exchange, Cuellar agreed to advance the interests of the country and the bank in the US, according to the indictment. The Department of Justice said the couple surrendered to authorities on Friday.

  • Example: Among other things, Cuellar agreed to influence legislation favorable to Azerbaijan and deliver a pro-Azerbaijan speech on the floor of the House, the indictment states.
  • Denial: Cuellar released a statement Friday declaring innocence. “Everything I have done in Congress has been to serve the people of South Texas,” he said. “Before I took action, I proactively sought legal advice from the House Ethics Committee, who gave me more than one written opinion, along with an additional opinion from a national law firm. Furthermore, we requested a meeting with the … prosecutors to explain the facts and they refused to discuss the case with us or hear our side.”
  • Money: The payments to the couple went through a Texas-based shell company owned by Imelda Cuellar and two of the couple’s children, according to the indictment. That company received payments from the Azerbaijan energy company of $25,000 per month under a “sham contract,” purportedly in exchange for unspecified strategic consulting and advising services. “In reality, the contract was a sham used to disguise and legitimate the corrupt agreement between Henry Cuellar and the government of Azerbaijan,” the indictment states.
  • A search: The FBI searched the congressman’s house in the border city of Laredo in 2022, and Cuellar’s attorney at that time said Cuellar was not the target of that investigation. That search was part of a broader investigation related to Azerbaijan that saw FBI agents serve a raft of subpoenas and conduct interviews in DC and Texas.

There is not a big difference in the people in Congress….both are corruptible and greedy….and yet we keep voting for these parties time and time again and expect a different outcome….what was it Einstein said about that?

This criminal activity runs deep….from the White House to state and local officials….greed is a prime motivator.

To Save A Reputation

First I would like to wish all those that celebrate the day a Happy May Day.

There is a new piece of junk legislation heading through the US House….this one is a piece of disguised crap to protect Israel’s reputation…..

A bill introduced in the House by Reps. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) and Mike Lawler (R-NY) would create “antisemitism monitors” at colleges funded by the US federal government, a reaction to widespread pro-Palestinian demonstrations that have falsely been labeled antisemitic.

The protests against the US-backed Israeli slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza have led some members of Congress, including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), to call for President Biden to send in the National Guard, and the prime minister of Israel has also called for a crackdown. The bill from Torres and Mawler takes a different approach to combat the protests.

According to a press release from Torres and Lawler, the legislation, known as the College Oversight and Legal Updates Mandating Bias Investigations and Accountability (COLUMBIA) Act, would “empower the federal Department of Education to impose a third-party antisemitism monitor on any college or university receiving federal funding.”

“The monitor would be appointed by the Secretary of Education, the terms and conditions of the monitorship would be set by the Secretary, and the expenses of the monitorship would be paid by the particular college or university that has been selected for monitorship,” the press release said. “Failure to comply with the monitorship would result in the loss of federal funds.”

The demonstrations are being labeled antisemitic by Israeli supporters in the US despite the fact that many Jewish students are participating in the demonstrations, including in the encampment at Columbia University in New York City. Many of the protests across the country are demanding their universities divest from Israel or companies profiting from Israel’s genocidal war.

(antiwar.com)

School monitors?

Seriously?  Where are these monitors and the hate around others on campuses?  Blacks, women’s rights, Asians, etc.  Where?

Let’s be real here….this is more about trying to cover Israel’s ass than some warped crap about religion.

Support for Israel is waning….a majority say enough carnage….this is nothing but a ploy to divert attention from what Israel is actually doing.

Israel spends lots of cash on Congress to do this very thing.

Money well spent!
