That would be Ayn not Paul…..just in case there was going to be a misunderstanding………
Since my mother was of the Jicarilla Apache nation….you might be able to see why I hate this broad!

So much for the concept of individual rights, huh?

From time to time a politician makes it onto my sh*t list……..and this election it is Huckabee.
He opened his mouth and inserted both feet…..my mother was a Jicarilla Apache and I have a soft spot for my Native American ancestry……then some lily white douche has to go and make a statement that gets my ruffles up…….
Any time this person would like to defend his accusation I will be right here….doubt very seriously if he has the cajones to debate…….
From this point on any and every thing that Huckebee sez will be WRONG! Any good vibes he may have cultured with me is….GONE!
I wish I could say it in a clever clean way…..but I cannot….
This prick is a screaming racist asshole! And a leader in the GOP from South Carolina (do you expect more from a white bastard from the South)…….
We need citizens like him as much as we need another ass to wipe. This country cannot move forward as long as we have these racist pigs amongst us……..
“Savages”? “Infested”?
It is “Christians” like this that give their religious beliefs so much grief. This douche bag is NO better than the assholes in ISIS that are embarrassing Islam.

Native Americans have been crapped on for over 200 years…..whites have hunted then for sport, stole their land, suppressed their culture and starved them……how could they ever rebound from the mass persecution?
First, it was cigarette sells that offered some minor cash compensation….then came gambling which offered a better compensation package….what more could they possibly do to become more self-sufficient?
It seems what began in Colorado has grown into a multimillion dollar industry and spread quickly to other states….but now Native Americans have another weapon at their disposal……MARIJUANA!
Could tribal marijuana be as big a moneymaker as tribal casinos? The federal government has cleared the way for Native American tribes across the country to grow and sell marijuana on their land, reports the AP. The Justice Department says growing and selling will be allowed on reservations—even in states where the drug remains illegal—as long as the tribes follow the same federal guidelines in place in states that have legalized marijuana, including not selling it to minors and not transporting it to areas where it’s outlawed.
“The tribes have the sovereign right to set the code on their reservations,” the US attorney for North Dakota tells the Los Angeles Times. Pot grown on reservations won’t be subject to federal or state taxes, but it’s not clear how many tribes will go into the marijuana business: Many oppose legalization, and the Yakama Nation in Washington state, where pot is legal, has banned it on the reservation. The US attorney for Oregon says that so far, only three tribes of the 566 across the country have shown any interest.
Grow, Grow, Let It Grow!
My mother was Jicarilla Apache and I grew up with a lot of the views and traditions of her nation……today is a day the native Americans will celebrate…….I have NO problem with that….
About time!
American Indians stand to gain almost $3 billion as part of the economic stimulus moving through Congress, money that could help some of the nation’s poorest communities rebuild roads, improve health care and boost employment that has lagged behind the rest of the country for decades.
The Senate Appropriations Committee on Tuesday included $2.8 billion for Indian tribes in its portion of the nearly $900 billion economic stimulus bill, and a House version to be voted on Wednesday includes a similar amount. That includes hundreds of millions of dollars for schools, health clinics, roads, law enforcement and water projects.
Indian Country has a long way to go in terms of reviving tribal economies. According to the National Congress of American Indians, real per-capita income of Indians living on reservations is still less than half the national average, unemployment is twice that of the rest of the country, and eight of the 10 poorest counties in the United States are on reservations.
That group originally asked for $6.1 billion in the stimulus, an amount that they said would generate more than 50,000 jobs.
I really hate it when people use history to make a point andf then make up the facts to suit their presentation. I was reading a transcript of a Rush Limbaugh show where he said:
“On August 1, 1620, the Mayflower set sail. It carried a total of 102 passengers, including forty Pilgrims led by William Bradford.”
Actually, I believe the first governor was name Carver, Bradford became the leader after his death.
There is more:
Now, you know the usual story of Thanksgiving: They landed. They had no clue where they were, no idea how to feed themselves. The Indians came out, showed ’em how to pop popcorn, fed ’em turkey, saved ’em basically — and then white European settlers after that basically wiped out the Indian population.”
He was right, this is not true either. The Natives showed up at a harvest festival but brought NO food. It was there custom that the guess was fed and entertained. The Pilgrims had guns and hopefully knew how to hunt. The Pilgrims were taught to plant by one Indian, Squanto. The Indians needed the whites as allies against their neighboring tribes. So it was a mutal pact.
But what Rush was basically doing was saying that the original “socialistic” community doid not work…but it did…it was the only thing that kept the Pilgrims alive….since out of the original 100 or so..less than 40 survived the first winter. If they had not pulled together then they could have made all Indians happy by perishing.
Rush needs more fact and less fiction…he would look more informede…but then his listeners have NEVER allowed facts to cloud their judgement.
After hundreds of years of abuse and lies, the Lakotah Nation has officially withdrawn from the US. Finally, after years of waiting and hoping the NAs have found a voice. AIM was a beginning this is a continuation and with the grace of the Great Spirit others will follow in their footsteps. They are the leaders we have been looking for, now get behind them and force the government into a confrontation.
