From The ‘Can’t Fix Stupid’ Files

I have always thought morons that break the law and post selfies or videos of the act and think they will get way with it…..I feel they are swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool.

Take all the selfies and videos that have been posted of those committing the insurrection of 06 January….were they so flipping stupid to think that they would be safe in posting these incriminating social posts?

Well my thought is they were idiots in the highest degree….but is there a reason they are this flipping stupid?

Many Trump supporters who took part in the January 6th riots at the United States Capitol building made the job of law enforcement officials much easier by snapping incriminating photos of themselves committing crimes as they were happening.

MLive.com this week talked with several extremism experts for some clues about why so many MAGA rioters thought they’d get away with sharing photos of themselves breaking the law to the entire world.

Sam Jackson, a professor at the University at Albany who studies anti-government militias, tells MLive.com that the rioters likely thought they would succeed in overturning the results on the 2020 election and thus imagined creating historical records of themselves to show they were heroes at a world-changing event.

“I think a lot of it has to do with the folks who participated feel like they weren’t doing anything wrong, probably combined with a sense that they thought they were doing something historic,” he explained.

“The people who went to the Capitol trying to ‘stop the steal,’ by and large, expected that they were going to succeed at that and thought that they would really push the government to make different decisions,” he said. “Some of them didn’t realize the seriousness with which storming the Capitol would be taken.”

Good to have scientific explanation….but mine is more simple and just a valid….these insurrectionist are just morons….they lack any knowledge beyond stupidity.

No Fool Like An Old Fool

Some much drama in the world….how about a little humor on a Friday?

How many times have you heard that old saying…..usually uttered after some story about some old fart that did something that some do not approve of….probably something they consider immoral or whatever……

Then there are times when the old saying does have some validity……and this is just such a situation…..

An 84-year-old New Yorker’s date with two 17-year-old twin sisters ended with the senior citizen tied up and robbed, according to police.

The New York Times reports that Paul Aronson met up with 17-year-old Shaina Foster last month through SeekingArrangement.com, a sugar daddy site that bills itself as a place “where beautiful, successful people fuel mutually beneficial relationships,” according to the Times.

After a first date, Shaina brought her twin sister Shalaine along to the second. The trio dined at an “expensive restaurant” and then Aronson invited them back to his apartment for a drink, court documents said.

That’s when Shaina told authorities things got out of hand.

“He asked to do things I wasn’t going to do,” she told Detective Darryl Ng. “He is ugly, old and disgusting. I tied him up. I took his money and left. He was starting to creep me out.”

The reason I re-tell that story is because of a report I read along those lines……

Let’s be honest….we men can do and say some incredibly stupid stuff……and my fave “what were you thinking moment” was when a terrorist sent a later bomb….it was returned for lack of sufficient postage and the would be bomber open the letter and killed himself…..DON’T GET TOO MUCH STUPIDER THAN THAT!

Dancing Naked

It is the weekend once again….and politics is still as disgusting as it was last week….so I venture into the news to try and find really whacky stuff to post……this one is from my local TV station…..as my readers know I from time to time I make fun of the locals in my area…..dirt is smarter than some of them……and that brings us to the post……

GEORGE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) –

A man dancing naked on the side of the road helped lead George County deputies to a working meth lab Sunday in the Ward community.

Around noon, the sheriff’s department received a call about the man dancing along Ward Pineview Road. By the time deputies arrived, the man had disappeared into the woods. But deputies had a hunch who their naked suspect might be, so they headed south about half a mile toward a residence. That’s where authorities said they found a metal toolbox which contained a working meth lab in the back yard.

“The owner of this lab probably didn’t realize dancing naked on the side of the road may bring him some unwanted attention. If he is indeed who we think he is,” Sheriff Dean Howell said.

Sheriff Howell said a hazardous materials cleanup crew was brought in to dismantle the meth lab.

My grandfather use to say…”If you are gonna be stupid, you gotta be strong” and this guy is just plain stupid…..

Another thing to think about…..are rednecks the best people to use chemistry for any reason?

Boehner Pulls A Boner

First, I do not know why but every time I use the word Boehner…the word Boner comes to mind……

And then there are reports or stories that make one shake their head and ask why……

In the recent past I have heard the name John Boehner being batted around as a possible speaker of the House if the GOP ever returns to power…he does get lots of face time on TV especially on FOX News, after all he is the minority leader and should be the spokesperson for the Party in the House.

Yesterday there was a “spontaneous” rally in Washington against the Health Reform Bill that is being considered…..there were the usual suspects….references to socialism, nazis, and just plain hate for the president and Pelosi……I watched some of it on TV and thought it was a “white power” protests….the GOP really needs to find someone with a different color face to be in the crowd.

I have written many times on these “spontaneous” out pouring of hate, but today I want to talk about the leader of the GOP in the House……John Boehner got up in front of the 4000 or so protesters to egg them on….he had the usual babble and then he pulled out a copy of the Constitution and said “this is my copy of the Constitution and I will read from it” (paraphrase)….

We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness…….

(I will give a long pause here for contemplation)……..I realize that to be a member of a certain party you need an IQ check but this is moronic…..Boehner was holding the Constitution and reading the Declaration of Independence….you would have thought one of his fellow GOPers would have told him he was screwing up…..they did not….maybe they do not know the difference either….ever think of that?

These are the LEADERS of American governance and they do NOT even know the difference between the two documents….this whole things reminds me of something Plato said:

The penalty good men pay for not being interested in politics is to be governed by men worse than themselves.

The part that should scare the people is…. these are the people that are defending the Constitution….they say so in their oath of office….and yet they have NO IDEA what it actually says….. Do they still teach Civics in school?……

If HE, Boehner,  is the future of the GOP….then members should worry or at least run for the nearest exit….

That First Date Really Sucked

I have been on blind dates that would scare a priest and first dates that were more out of the Exorcist than reality, but this woman had a first date that sucked and sucked bad…..

Police in Michigan say a first date went from bad to worse when a Detroit man skipped out on the restaurant bill, then stole his date’s car.Police say 23-year-old Terrance Dejuan McCoy had dinner with a woman April 24 at Buffalo Wild Wings in the Detroit suburb of Ferndale. The woman says the two met a week earlier at a Detroit casino and she knew McCoy only as “Chris.”

The woman told police that McCoy said he left his wallet in her car and asked for keys. He then sped away in the 2000 Chevrolet Impala.

The dick head has been captured by the PD…it seems that he sent a cel photo of himself and his number…..not only did this guy have a huge set of cajones but he was stupid at the same time……..As Ron White would say, “you cannot fix stupid”.

The D.C. Court of Appeals yesterday rejected Roy L. Pearson Jr.‘s request for a new trial regarding his highly publicized $54 million lawsuit against a neighborhood dry cleaners over a pair of lost pants.

The three judges who heard his case unanimously agreed that Pearson failed to show that the store’s advertised promises amounted to fraud. The judges said Pearson’s argument that Custom Cleaners and its owners, Soo and Jin Chung, intentionally committed fraud with their signs “defies logic.”

Pearson appealed to the court in October to overturn a 2007 ruling that he was not entitled to damages from the cleaner. Pearson argued he had not received the promised “Satisfaction Guaranteed” or “Same Day Service.”

Pearson, a former District administrative law judge, also argued that he was denied access to a jury trial. The appeals court rejected that argument as well.

The Chungs’ attorney, Christopher Manning, said his clients were pleased with the decision and now want to focus on their one remaining store at Seventh and M streets NW. Since the lawsuits, the Chungs were forced to close their two other stores because of financial problems.
