From The People You Hate

This is a news report you definitely will not see on FOX or Drudge or CNN or WND or most any other news outlet……but you will find it on In Saner Thought………

American Christians are the largest group of haters in the country……..and since ISIS has reared its ugly face the Christian community has done little to stop the hate toward Muslims and in some cases they are the driving force behind the hate…..with Qur’an burnings and pig roast on Ramadan to just plain hateful speech by so-called religious pundits..

No holds barred it is ALL Muslims that are to blame for the chaos that ISIS has delivered…..and a wealth of other lies told to feed the hate…..

For these reasons NO one will see this story on their local TV or their local rag they call a newspaper……..

The coalition — which consists of U.S. organizations Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative and Arab American Association of New York, as well as digital startup Ummah Wide — has so far raised over $23,000 in five days. After the campaign ends on July 18, the money will be given to pastors of the burned churches that  need it most, the groups said.

Like black communities in the United States, the coalition wrote, American Muslims are also vulnerable to intimidation, though not to the same extent as African-Americans.

“The American Muslim community cannot claim to have experienced anything close to the systematic and institutionalized racism and racist violence that has been visited upon African Americans,” organizer Imam Zaid Shakir wrote on the campaign’s website.

However, Muslims can understand the “climate of racially inspired hate and bigotry that is being reignited in this country,” Shakir wrote, saying the American Muslim community should stand in solidarity with African-Americans.

These Muslims are acting more like Christians than the Christians…….this is what Ramadan is about and you would know that if you took the time to understand…..but I guess that is too much to ask.

The recent act of domestic terrorism has slipped from the headlines…..now the MSM has moved onto the flag controversy and are attempting to have a race conversation that is much needed in the US…..

Maybe the media could touch on the fact that since 9/11 the only terrorist acts carried out on our soil have been those from domestic terrorists……but I guess that would not fit the fear mongering stories that they, the media, are famous for…….but it should be noted and it was……..

I know that the ignorant masses that are on the Right wing will say and or whatever it is that they think will motivate the idiots that subscribe to their lunacy but there comes a time when their words are chosen to ramp up harm to the country.

It is time for the government and law enforcers to start calling these pricks on their bluff and hold them responsible for their irresponsible words.  I do believe I have the right to say what is on my mind but if I get on the TV or radio and basically call out for violent action then that goes beyond voicing an opinion and into the realm of incitement.

This a/hole is hoping that his verbiage will motivate some of the mental midgets into action so there will be a response and then they can say….”Told you so”…..

What would these toads do if a black leader told the people that they needed to rise up in armed revolt?  They would have a stroke and die sprinting to FOX to make a comment.

I believe that there are limits to the first amendment…….this is not free speech this is trying to incite violence……where should we draw the line?

Time For The Big Guns!

I am almost always amused at the news cycle……after you have been watching and reporting on the news for as long as I have …..it becomes a challenge to predict what the big story is and try to get ahead of it……it is a difficult task but so fulfilling when you can do it……and gloat!

For instance the latest “terrorist” attack in the US….the one in Garland Texas last week.  First it was ISIS took full responsibility for the attack and then the government came out and said that there was NO definitive proof that ISIS had anything to make it happen.  But we normal Americans hear the part of that saga we want to hear….”ISIS did it”.

Late last week there came out that there was a split in the GOP over the Patriot Act….after all it is up for renewal and the fix is in.  There are many Americans that are concerned over the loss of civil liberties in the name of the Patriot Act….even some of the presidential hopefuls.  we are told that we need it to keep the country safe (point one).

Also last week word came done that the US Court of Appeals has found that the NSA program of data collection is illegal…..let me say nthat again….ILLEGAL!

A key appellate court ruled Thursday that the National Security Agency broke the law with its sweeping collection of telephone call data, in a groundbreaking decision that repudiates the Obama administration and encourages Congress to weigh in.

The unanimous decision by a three-judge panel of the New York-based 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is the first to conclude Section 215 of the USA Patriot Act does not authorize the NSA’s bulk collection of so-called “metadata.” It comes just as sharply divided lawmakers try again to rewrite the law.  (point 2)

The ruling sent the hawks into a frenzy of trying to turn the American people against the ruling……..and it began in Congress……..

Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Richard Burr (R – NC) has slammed last week’s Appeals Court ruling that the NSA metadata surveillance program was illegal.

Sen. Burr insisted the program, which allows the NSA to collect telephone metadata on all Americans, had never intruded on anyone’s privacy, and said the program had to be continued.

Fear mongering at its ultimate best!

With those two occurrences…..it is time to whip out the Big Guns!
Over the weekend a couple reports came out that were as predictable that one id not need a de-coder ring……..
First the FBI report……..

Comey said this amounted to a shift in the process of online radicalization, as where at one point would-be recruits had to go to considerable lengths to find anything, they now make contact on Twitter or Facebook, and are then steered to more secure forms of communication.

The comments were made in the context of Garland shooter Elton Simpson, though officials have conceded they don’t really think he was working with ISIS, but was at most “inspired” by them.

Then secondly the report was………

Citing the “environment” of threat created by ISIS, the Pentagon has announced an increase in its FPCON security level from Alpha to Bravo. Spokesmen confirmed there is no specific threat.

The Pentagon had previously done this in September 2011, in the lead-up to the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, on the theory that al-Qaeda would probably like to do something then.

Third report was a real ear popper……in an interview Sen. Feistein (D-CA) said that there were ISIS cells active in 11 (eleven) states…..but as usual there was NO naming of said states….seems to have been a blanket statement……

These were the talk of the Sunday Political talk shows on the MSM…….

My problem is that the twin setbacks….the court ruling and hesitation over the Patriot Act had the PR people in the government going batcrap crazy……they had to make Americans aware (read “afraid”) of those bad guys lurking in the shadows.  They trotted out ALL the usual suspects to save the Act and try to reverse the ruling…….

This is a desperate attempt to save the programs they have been depending on to spy on Americans willy nilly……

Wait1  I am NOT saying that there is NOTHING to worry about….there is!…….All of this is a huge coincidence…….the problem is that I do NOT believe in coincidence……

What To Do About Baltimore?

After all the deaths of unarmed civilians at the hands of cops and after Baltimore erupted into a night of violence the big question in the media is….what can we do about Baltimore?  They are all looking for answer on how to fix the problem and not one of them actually knows what the problem is to begin with….so how does one fix a problem without knowledge of it?

The media is leading the charge to find answers……every political pundit that has ever voiced an opinion on this subject now has what he/she has always wanted…..15 minutes of fame.

We are bombarded daily with the proper “fixes” to the problems…….more this or more that with a little less this….we are talking…..and that is the problem!  Talk is cheap and NO where will any of the ideas be used no matter how good they sound.

Why would I crap on this parade?

Profits!

No plan will be put into action that does not guarantee a return on money spent!

Does anyone remember LBJ?  How about his program the “War On Poverty”?

The effort centered around four pieces of legislation:

• The Social Security Amendments of 1965, which created Medicare and Medicaid and also expanded Social Security benefits for retirees, widows, the disabled  and college-aged students, financed by an increase in the payroll tax cap and rates.

• The Food Stamp Act of 1964, which made the food stamps program, then only a pilot, permanent.

• The Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, which established the Job Corps, the VISTA program, the federal work-study program and a number of other initiatives. It also established the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO), the arm of the White House responsible for implementing the war on poverty and which created the Head Start program in the process.

• The Elementary and Secondary Education Act, signed into law in 1965, which established the Title I program subsidizing school districts with a large share of impoverished students, among other provisions. ESEA has since been reauthorized, most recently in the No Child Left Behind Act.

Many of the programs started by the War on Poverty are still in place but are a mere shadow of what was intended.  For every president since LBJ has attacked and made worthless the intentions from 1964…..and that includes Dem presidents also.

So the question I posed was….what to do about Baltimore?  First place blame where it belongs…on Washington and the Congress.  Make all politicians explain why they cut programs that had the most effect on the control of poverty.  Do not let them get off topic. which they will because NO one in DC wants to accept the responsibility for the problems in inner cities.

Second, an attempt to get ALL Americans to care about poverty…..as it is now…it is someone else problem.  Poverty is a national problem and must be addressed on that level.

I wish I could say that there was a quick fix…….there is NOT and talking about the problem has done nothing in 40 years why would it help today?

The money spent on our interventionism would every helpful in solving social problems……….but we know that the American people will never let that happen.

Baltimore is just the beginning……….there will be NO peace until the country makes ending poverty a priority……and we know from past experiences that talk is cheap and not a solution.

ISIS: Attack On Texas

Garland, Texas was the scene of the newest terrorist attack in the US……the media is doing what it always does……speculating and misleading…..and will give the purveyors of hate a national stage from which to preach and the hate group that set up the cartoon fest has been validated….and now word has come to light that it was an ISIS operation……

Personally I think it has little do actually do with ISIS….it was lone wolves and terrorists wannabes…..but I am not alone in my disbelief of this being an ISIS operation…….

While ISIS sought to claim credit for the weekend attack on a cartoon contest in Garland, Texas, officials say this is almost certainly false, and that the attackers were probably lone wolves attacking on their own.

Homeland Security Chair Rep. Michael McCaul (R – TX) said the evidence pointed toward the attack not being directed by ISIS, “but rather inspired by them,” calling it a “textbook case of what we’re most concerned about.”

For decades so-called terrorists have been claiming responsibility for attacks that had little to do with them…….it is a propaganda tool….it is that simple.

To me these guys were wannabes because that showed NO training at all…..I mean the only other person hurt in the attack was a security officer who was shot in the ankle (someone needs to explain how that happened……I am sure it will be an interesting tale)…….

This was a lone wolf operation from start to finish carried out by amateurs…..to speculate that this is somehow a coordinated attack is misinformation and disingenuous…..

Americans are so afraid of the words “Muslim” and “Islam” that they will believe any scenario that feeds that fear.  But what this story will do is feed the fears and give more clout to the hate mongers that get rich off that fear.

With all the violence aimed at civilians the amount of dissent has risen to a high pitch.  There is a major problem that has been brewing for years but most Americans have turned a blind eye because it did not effect them……in other words they just DO NOT want to know.

But now they are confronted with the militarization of the police and the heavy handed treatment of civilians…all in the name of law enforcement.

The news has gotten out that some nations, including the US, are sending cops to Israel for training.  Training for what? How to oppress those in dissent?

I cannot think of a better country than Israel to train police in heavy handed tactics used against a population…..can you?
