Recently the DNC released its report on what went wrong with the 2024….how could they lose to Donny?
For those that did not get around to the post I put on-line….
But there is part of the autopsy that they did not want to put out for our consumption….
The New York Times on Monday published what it described as a “missing chapter” of the Democratic National Committee’s widely criticized “autopsy” of the 2024 presidential election.
The chapter, titled “What Happened in 2024” and provided to the Times by Democratic strategist Paul Rivera, offers criticisms of party consultants who are “self-enriching” and out of touch with the concerns of ordinary voters.
Specifically, the chapter questions whether Democratic politicians and operatives have a grasp on the economic realities facing most Americans, while calling for “a fundamental re-evaluation” of whether Democrats “really understand the wants and needs of voters.”
“An emerging critique of Democratic decision-making,” the chapter states, “is there are too many people who have become generationally wealthy off politics and drive too much of the decision-making within the ecosystem. This is deeply frustrating to many… who want to try a different set of politics but keep banging their heads up against a system proven to be inflexible and self-enriching.”
The chapter adds that “many of the people who worked at the highest levels of the party” are “financially secure,” and thus potentially insulated “from the realities many Americans were encountering in their lives.”

My first response was….NO SHIT!
That is what us on the so-called Left have been saying for decades and now the DNC wanted to keep that part of the report a secret….not wanting you to see that what you have been saying is exactly why these losers cannot win a descent election.
The DNC is full of overly wealthy people that have no idea what you and I must face everyday….out of touch is putting it mildly.
Did you see this in any of your mainstream media sites?
I guess is no you did not.
This needs to be widely distributed so that we all can see what the party is doing and more specifically….not doing.

1) They allowed Biden to blunder on for far too long until he started to make Trump seem smart and savvy. (Which should have been impossible!)
2) America is not going to vote for a woman president yet. If ever.
3) Combine that with a black candidate and get black+female, and Harris never had a chance.’

Ever since I can remember, the Democratic Party has been out of touch with the average voter. Even when I was campaigning for John Kerry, I knew it. After his campaign, I stopped backing the Democrats. I guess I was a late bloomer. 🤭

My first presidential election that I was eligible to vote in, I voted for Ross Perot. I believe that was the same election Bill Clinton ran in. Before that, I remember being enthusiastic about Michael Dukakis only because the local UAW supported him and I read the newsletters that my dad received. Kerry was the “lesser evil” in 2004 for me. I couldn’t vote for Dubya.
“NO SHIT!” is right, chuq! Isn’t it amazing – and quite sad too – that by simply withholding an obvious truth from the public, the establishment can effectively conceal it? This is what happens to democracy when the people become disengaged and disinterested.
We all know the Dems have huge problems. Biden/Harris was an utter fiasco. No one had the guts to tell Biden that he was becoming too frail both physically and mentally to run for a 2nd term and we ended up with that disaster.
It goes deeper than that, of course. Beginning with the fact that the Dems have no unifying message to bring to the public eye. The GOP learned long ago that they have to pick two or three hot button issues and stick with them, unify behind them, and hammer on them constantly. The Dems haven’t figured that out yet for some reason. The democratic issues? Women should have the right to choose. Maybe but maybe there’s some room for disagreement. We should have a better health care system but we aren’t really sure what that should be. People shouldn’t have to live in abject poverty in what is supposedly the richest country in the world but we aren’t sure how to do that. All the Dems have is a lot of maybes and sort ofs and we aren’t sure.
They need focus. They need unity. And they have neither.
And even worse, the Dems are just as deeply immersed in the same corrupt political funding system that is little more than legalized bribery as the GOP is. Is it any wonder that people out here in the real world are starting to embrace people like Mamdani in New York and Hong in Wisconsin? They’re talking about actual real issues that effect people very day. They’re talking about trying to bring about actual real changes to the system that might make people’s lives better. And the mainstream Dems are responding not by embracing change, but hunkering down with the GOP and trying to undermine them.
